Re: Metal Sludge Fantasy Football enters its second decade!
Utah Revolution BITCHES! 7 game win streek! Went from last to 2nd/3rd, tied with the best record in the league, this is where it falls apart!
I'm loaded with RB's looking to trade for a good to top WR.
Patkingsofcakes has made a come back, way to drop the Vik players so they couldn't be picked up till after the Thursday night game.
Bobbystone and Hamburger hanging tough from day one can fuck off! PGA Pro still sticking around and up my ass.
Ultimate Hellwigs.....Are they gonna get a win this year?

I will trade you any one of my 5 WR's ..... T. Ginn Jr. (CAR) , R. Randle (NYG) , E. Royal (SD) , D. Moore (Oak) or N. Washington (TENN) for Gore, Rice, Stacey, Jackson or Thomas.
Re: Metal Sludge Fantasy Football enters its second decade!
Have to ponder something and not Christian Ponder either. I had a few of those guys once.HollywoodTrash wrote:Damn...you are loaded with RB's! Holy fuck! and they are all pretty good. Bastard!

Early on I had Ginn benched then was forced to play him a lucky week he scored a TD....Points wise Ginn is semi stable but I had no clue who he was till I watched a game. Dude is fast as fuck, almost a monster...Then I watched him drop two balls and run routes. If only stickum was still around.
Seen Tampa finally put Doug Martin out for the season today so that gives me "Mike James" to juggle around another RB who'll get touches vs RB's more likely to score with less attempts. Gonna be luck here on out.
The trade deadline is the Nov15th next Friday. Have to make something happen. I'd rather extend it another week but I think I'm the only one who's made a trade anyway.

"Tavon Austin" didn't set my auto draft and got that clown, he's had one game all fucking year and I hope it stays that way. BOBBY snagged him before halftime I think.
Has anyone fucked up yet? Trades or forgot to add players in time? I've done it so much I could kill my team.

I hate TE's, apart from the top 4 or 5 it's week to week lotto........Go off one game then give you 2 points the 5 weeks in a row. If you don't have a top TE you're better off playing match ups and waivers. I'm gonna pick up Joseph Fauria and play his fat ass all year for that one 3 td game.
Kamikaze Bastards: You suck, every player you started went off to the fuck off even with mine doing ok. Had a feeling I was gonna have a tough one. It's not over yet but....well, it's over.

After the game/match have you clicked on the "BLUE RECAP" button?
There's graphs, breakdowns, enough geeky stats n shit I could fill 3 posts.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kamikaze Bastards Wins Against Utah Revolution, Expels Them from First Place
Kamikaze Bastards defeated Utah Revolution 233.96 - 202.31 for a second win in as many head-to-head matchups. Kamikaze Bastards put their best into this matchup, scoring the fourth-highest point total in the league this season. Their average score in the series is 212.69 points, 132.9% of their season average. This week, Vincent Jackson was the reason for the win, putting up 37.50 points. That's even more than LeSean McCoy, who led all players with 30.90 points the last time these teams met. On top of the loss, Utah Revolution got zero points from Barry Church. This is the largest margin for Kamikaze Bastards in two head-to-head matchups. They beat Utah Revolution 191.43 - 161.97 in Week 1.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Smooth Moves by Kamikaze Bastards:
-With 37.50 points, Vincent Jackson ranked fifth in the league in scoring this week and had the third-highest score of any player on Kamikaze Bastards this season.
-With 36.30 points, Michael Floyd ranked sixth in the league in scoring and beat his scoring projection by 181.0%, which was the highest percentage in the matchup.
-The 31.00 points scored by LeSean McCoy ranked 10th in the league in scoring. It was also his highest output of the season.
11 of the 14 starters on Kamikaze Bastards exceeded their projected points.
- With 26.96 points, Robert Griffin III ranked fourth in the league this week in scoring among QBs.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Toyota Missed Opportunities by Utah Revolution:
- Perry Riley Jr., who Utah Revolution picked up this week, scored below his 6.77-point projection with 5.00 points.
- Terrell Suggs was last in the matchup in scoring with 1.00 point against a projected 7.73 and underachieved for the second time this season.
- After a season-low 5.90 points against a projected 13.23, Fred Jackson has scored below his projection in four straight games.
- Utah Revolution was not able to win even though only 6 of their 14 starters fell short of their projected point total.
- Left Barry Church in the starting lineup and he scored 0 points.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kamikaze Bastards would have been undefeated if they played every team in the league this week.
Utah Revolution would not have lost to any other team in the league besides Kamikaze Bastards this week.
Utah Revolution topped their point expectations for the third week in a row. They have now overperformed versus projections for the eighth time.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ya I've topped expectations 8 times in 11 weeks because I'm better then the odd makers! Just shit luck I wasn't good enough this week.
I lost because I started one wrong player....When I did that I was pissed off enough to leave a defender on the bench as well. FUCK.

So ya I've mentioned I've been out of fantasy leagues for a few years and it's been a slight task catching up to date with the players and being a head of the game but nowwwwwww I see the shit.
All these fucking points for lame ass Kick Returners!
Seen someone had Hester once and didn't really catch on then it was the points for each catch........ Then I face the PGAPROHAXOR today and see the light....I'm reading the wrong fantasy sites. Cordarrelle Patterson and some D guy named Quintin Demps blow the fuck up. Up till now I've played for average like LB's.
BASTARD! Feel like the jokes on me.
And I thought not setting my draft card was curve.

Think it's been a dead or half dead most of the season, That team had a bye player when I played him.
Like the last two weeks I've had a few fuck ups myself along the way including leaving a D player off for a reason but the there's a couple dead/half dead teams.

That's you? You've ran that team, well, very well. If you beat PGAhaxor I'll get you a lap dace by a fat chick.
There's several teams that could jump up and take the league. My team is running outta steam. I'm done, with the bye week over I'm setting up for cruise control.
Last week vs PGA, while on the phone I went full retard by dropping a wrong player then picking up the wrong replacement...The mistake cost me 22 points and gave me zero from two Defense players. Icing on the cake was Frisco rotating RB's to give Frank Gore a break got me 4. Lost by like 12 points.
I can count potato....Twice.
Today I started Rod Streater over Boykin....Just looked and the change didn't go through. Boykin didn't make a catch. Good thing I'm playing a dead team "Ultimate Hellwigs" but after looking at today's stats the auto pilot Hellwigs might have a chance.
I don't have a clue who's got the upper hand. Helix would be nice to see miss the playoff's somehow.

If I lose to a dead team this week I might be done, expecting the worst game of the year but I should pull off the win. All my weeks of keeping a D spot empty has hurt the points. If I'm in the playoffs I'm expecting a quick out. It's all about luck here on out.

Knowshon reacting to the news of the final score of my Fantasy game VS CFLers

Re: Metal Sludge Fantasy Football enters its second decade!
Not sure how this works, is it 4 from each league or the top 8? I'm guessing it's the top 8 and Ties are settled by points? This is the way it looks to me
With LAKISS barely loosing to Kamikaze and Crud's Crappers winning put's Crud in the final playoff spot? Kamikaze kicks LAKISS out?
Hamburgers W/Cheeze narrowly beating PGA with PGA scoring 146, Then Utah wins scoring 146....On points "like 20ish?" it would drop PGA back to 3rd with Utah back to 2nd?
Crazy finish, Brees getting his ass kicked by Seattle's defense...I owe Blumpkin King a lap dance from a fat chick.
It's a mess with some shuffling going around but, curious to see the seeding. On to the playoffs!

I would hardly call a 20 point win a narrow defeat. I'll take that Lap Dance as it will be the only thing I will have to remember the season by. I usually tank once the playoff's begin. Hoping to stop that trend.UtahRatt wrote:

2 things:
-no consolation round?
-Ratt, you're not going to make any friends by picking up players then dropping them again before the next game. Putting players on waivers so that other teams can't pick them up is weak sauce.

You nabbed Ryan Clark what last week? within seconds of me, he was free when I CLICKED him but I got some RED MESSAGE..YOU LOSE TOO LATE!
That click lead me spasticly to find someone who I dropped because I found someone better but the early games started so I was forced to drop another one and in the end killing half the D list just because you nabbed Ryan Clark seconds before me. Fuck friends, I wanted to win and went HMZ.
I didn't know the players, this point system or strategies in big leagues. BUT, I do get all the attention because I'm the most active on the wavers by far, like playing catch up. It's why I gave Nick shit because he's got some PRKR players. It's a good risk strat that took me 9 weeks to figure out what everyone already knew. Took many weeks to figure PPC out which is why I traded Cecil Shorts for a shit TE. Sure it's all clear now. 13 weeks in...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOW, Defenses Players. Ryan Clark was one incident.
I haven't played D all year. I've used 4 D spots from the beginning thinking 5points wasn't worth the extra offensive opening till I realized the points defense can make, now I've got brush up on D players and Kick Returners?
Another time I thought after games started I could pick/add a player if I had an open spot, player on the bench or on bye....So I melted down on the Monday Night Game and clicked on several D players trying to fill a spot. The spot left empty when I lost.
Take a couple years off the NFL and Fantasy and you'll see, its time consuming already. Learning new players, joining a different point league and not setting your draft card then remain competitive..It's like work.
All while busting ass to win....So I can lose to bobby in the first round. Game on Bobby.
Pat, I get your point tho, add/drop totally not intentional. There's a team that kept dropping and picking up a player I wanted all fucking year. I finally got him in Week 12....Now I don't want him. Hell I was going to leave the team dead several times this year. Lucky to make it this far.

Russell Wilson Scoring 40 points when he averages like 18?
Drew Brees Scoring 9 points when he was expected to get 28?
All season low and high for Brees and Russ.
Still can't believe you pulled it off, not that it helped division record or head to head lost me. But great win.

I checked with yahoo, in leagues where eight teams move on to the playoffs, there is no consolation for the other eight teams. They spell it all out here: http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=con ... FAN_FOOTUSWhiteHouseSubsAC wrote:

Personally, I think that sucks. If I didn't like almost everything else about the way Yahoo does things, I'd consider a move to ESPN next year. But then we'd lose all of our league history. A history that includes such celebrities as AttorneyJohn and Eveldick!
