No wonder black athletes have hated playing in Boston for decades.

Bunch of fuckheads but a good amount were not Bruins fans or even from the Boston area. A lot of these idiots have accounts with their actual names and within an hour of this being exposed, a bunch of accounts were bombarded with with negative feedback and taken down, probably by the fuckheads themselves. Notice the guy with the Red Wings avatar.
There is no way most of these people are real hockey fans never mind Bruins fans.

That sucks. People can be fucking jackasses. Take the loss like men, Bruins got beat fairly and were outplayed .Resorting to racist comments is idiodic to say the least. Ashamed to be associated with shitheads like these as a Bruins diehard.

Where were the racist tweets when the Patriots lost?
Why weren't they complaining about the Celtics big 3?
It was mostly teenagers who were trying to be cool, hiding behind their computers.

2nd Round Predictions:
East
NYR vs. Wash.
Rangers in 7. Lundqvist will be the difference.I expect the Caps to compete, with Holtby continuing his fine play but just not up to Lundqvist's level.
Phil vs. Devils
Flyers in 5. Philadelphia has this swagger and confidence about them.Their kids are playing like veterans and Giroux is en fuego. The Devils are beat up-Kovalchuk is injured,he could barely accelerate last night, and Brodeur is not the enigma he once was.The Devils will steal 1,maybe 2 games due to Bryzgalov's below average play.
St.Louis vs LA
St.Louis in 6.Goals will be at a premium. as good as Quick has been,I look for Elliott to shine brighter. It could go either way though, both teams match up well.
Phx vs. Nash
Nashville in 6. Again, goals will be at a premium.Rinne will outduel Smith and Radulov/A.Kostitsyn/Legwand will provide just enough offence to put the Predators over the top. This one too could go either way,but I think playing 6 consecutive OT games will eventually catch up with Coyotes.

Re: The official NHL thread
Here goes nothing:
Rangers over Capitals in 5: The blue shirts got a good little scare from Ottawa, which should serve as a wake up call (Marian Gaborik, that means you). The Caps beat an injured, uninspired Bruins team, and I think the Rangers are way hungrier than Boston was. Rangers are better in nets and on D, which are the difference making positions in the playoffs.
Flyers over Devils in 6: I'm a tad afraid Brodeur will do something epic and Bryzgalov won't be any better than he was in the Pittsburgh series, but at the end of the day the Flyers have too many weapons, and can beat you too many ways, AND they have their swagger now.
Blues over Kings in 6: I also respect and fear Jon Quick, and think he's better than both St-Louis goalies, but I don't see a weak spot on the Blues. They can throw 3-4 "2nd lines" at you, and have a solid D to boot. Hitchcock has them superbly prepared and I thin they're going to the finals. All respect to LA, but I think Vancouver were easier pickens' than the Blues.
Predators over Coyotes in 6: The Coyotes are truly better than the sum of their parts, but if they hadn't been up against a Chicago team with question marks in nets, they might not be in the 2nd round. Mike Smith has been great, but Rinne's better, you got Suter and Weber back on D, and while not as deep as St-Louis, the Preds can throw a lot different looks at you.

First period is in the books...Flyers look rusty as shit. Hopefully Lavi works some of his locker room/time out magic and lights their asses up. Hoping for a bit of *oomph* this period.

Re: The official NHL thread
Fuuuuuuuck....you......Devils! 4-3 Flyers in OT.
Devils get 2 goals on 2 lame turnovers by The Flyers and another on a weak-ass penalty/hooking call. Flyers came out rusty in the first, but outplayed 'em the 2nd, 3rd and OT.
If Bryz had played consistently (he had quite a few great saves) it wouldn't have even been close.
They ain't got shit for Philly!

Yeah, that third goal was a real knee slapper.
The guy is awesome in the press. However, that shit is going to wear thin really quickly when his "quirkiness" gets in the way of taking care of business. Philly fans love you when you win...if you're funny that is a bonus. Just funny doesn't cut it.

Lots of goals in the Phoenix/Nashville series, which no one was expecting.

In my pick em league I took Debbies in 7. No so sure after Game 1. Offense just might beat Defense here.
And FTW, my Rangers rule. If they don't make the Finals the season is a failure.

If the Hawks can win with Niemi, and the Wings with Osgood, the Flyers can win with Bryzgalov. The Pens series proved that. It's not that complicated - just score more than the other guys.pieceofme wrote:As good as the Flyers attack is, I can't see them winning with Bryzgalov.WOLF wrote:Flyers/Rangers in Conference Final will be awesome if it materializes that way.
