You did compare RG3 to Russell and everybody here knows it you racist fucking moron, and I don't really care where "you'd" put Peyton's arm. We all know you 've had his balls half way down your throat for a decade. The fact is, he never had a cannon. Fuck off.

Agreed. Sorry we'll have to leave Wilson out of this one.bane wrote:Adding Wilson to this mix takes all the fun out of it, I mean, really who really gives a fuck who wins that award? This is more about rubbing P13's nose in it than anything else, right?
LOL at P13 STILL clinging to this stupid fucking "wins" thing with the Redskins in first place. You just know that Luck is gonna throw 3 INTs this weekend and LOSE to the hapless Chiefs, giving the Skins and the Colts the same record.
Then what's he gonna say?
"Well, Luck still has more wins because Cousins got one! It's all about the wins! Fact!"

Re: NFL 2012 Thread
They're not even close to being similiar other than the fact that they both won the Heisman and they both scramble Dumbfuck. Get back to me when Tebow is near the top of the league in pass% or throws for nearly 20 TD's with a ridiculously low int%. And funny in Your Luck highlight vid 2 of the biggest highlights were screens where he just dumped it off and the RB did the restpoizond13 wrote: He is similar to Tebow. He runs the ball a lot. Doesn't pass the ball a whole lot, and when he does it's mostly screens and check downs. I will admit he's a better passer than Tebow. But that doesn't cancel their similarities.

Re: NFL 2012 Thread

The Daily News has learned that Tebow, who captivated the NFL last season with his miracle playoff run in Denver, will request to be traded or released after the season assuming that McElroy starts the final two games. Tebow’s desire to part ways with a franchise that never gave him a chance came to a head after McElroy, who has seven career passes on his NFL resume, leapfrogged him, according to a source.
“I want to put Greg out there,” Ryan said on Tuesday. “I’m going to put Greg out there. In my opinion, that’s what’s best for our team.”
Ryan admitted that he told Sanchez after Monday night’s disastrous loss in Tennessee that he would bench him this week. “I told Mark we needed to make a change,” Ryan said. “He respected my decision.”

Tebow's right. they should'nt have traded for him if they weren't going to give him a chance.

It could be that what they saw in practice was so horrible they couldn't fathom starting him at QB. That's my guess anyway.NeverSurrender wrote:Tebow's right. they should'nt have traded for him if they weren't going to give him a chance.
Just send this circus attraction to Jacksonville...they might trade a pick for him as he'll help sell some tickets.
Re: NFL 2012 Thread
If I did compare RG3 to Russell, you would have already posted the quote. Fact is, I did NOT. On the other hand, you called Vince Young dumb for one bad test score. Like I said, racist.bane wrote:You did compare RG3 to Russell and everybody here knows it you racist fucking moron, and I don't really care where "you'd" put Peyton's arm. The fact that you state Peyton's arm strength "wasn't that great" proves you're a loser who knows nothing about football. Oh wait, I already knew that.

Doesn't excuse that they didn't use him very much in wildcat which is why they said they traded for him. And could he be any worse than Sanchez?

We might be all dumb when it comes to football but at least we've never sat on a male rock star's lap like a little kid at christmas time sitting on santa's lap begging for gifts.

Arians is deservedly getting consideration for coach of the year. He's going to get head coaching offers. My money's on Indy looking for a new coordinator.

If they make the playoffs, absolutely, but Arians taking over 3 games in and getting them where they are is a better story.Crazy Levi wrote:Mike Shanahan - shockingly - should also be in the discussion for Coach of the Year, no?bane wrote:Arians is deservedly getting consideration for coach of the year. And the Colts haven't made the playoffs yet either. Stranger things have happened.

The Colts' story this year is fantastic on any number of levels. New QB, turn-around from a 2 win season, coach down with cancer and they fight on, probable play-off berth etc. etc.
But "Colt-strong" is the most gimmicky, bullshit, manufactured slogan ever. It cheapens everything they have achieved by trying to turn it into an advertising slogan.

Jersey sales are almost always a popular rookie or second year player. UNLESS it's a superstar that switches teams. I'd bet Manning's Broncos sweater is number 2.bane wrote:Seriously? Re: NFL 2012 Thread
I love me some AD and think he's the comeback player no doubt but why isn't anybody bringing up the fact that Dickerson set the record back when there was fewer games.
Doesn't the same thing apply to Megatron's rec. record?

Oh gee, maybe because Dickerson didn't play in 1965.eddie lee roth wrote:I love me some AD and think he's the comeback player no doubt but why isn't anybody bringing up the fact that Dickerson set the record back when there was fewer games.

When he broke the record in 1984, the NFL season was 16 games just like it is now, doofus. Same thing applies to Megatron...the season went to 16 games in 1978.
That's probably why nobody is bringing it up.

The Jets circus keeps getting better.
headlines today are that Rex Ryan "loves" Mike Vick and is very eager to make him starting QB next season.
And Tebow is kinda pissed about not starting this week - or in fact, being told he's #2 and not #3 behind Sanchez.
And Norv Turner, in town to play a game against the Jets that nobody wants to see (I just turned down 4 free tickets), is sounding really amenable to taking the Jets' offensive coordinator job next season.

I always sorta liked Norv Turner if he could solve the Jets offensive woes he could part water while he's at it.

Made me laugh while driving into work.
Suddenly Ryan wants to say that Vick is the man. Ryan is a moron and desperate to keep his job.
The Jets got exactly what they deserved when the team traded for Tebow and failed to use him. No chance for Tebow to contribute when he barely plays.
Sanchez will be difficult to trade since he's owed so much money.
The rookie from Alabama might be the best choice, but he needs a lot of snaps to prove he is not a career back-up.
Norv Turner is a horrible head coach.
He's a fine O Cord. Hasn't anybody figured that out by now?

Well, his dad loved Randall Cunningham, so that makes sense. He's a clone of his dad. A great defensive coach, with 0 clue about offense.Crazy Levi wrote:The Jets circus keeps getting better.
