Oh no!!!

They mean nothing to you?!

Um...what does that mean exactly? Am I in legal trouble here?

By the way, are you aware that Andrew Luck is 29 in Passer rating?

TWENTY NINE?! You don't think ROY voters are gonna notice that?

They probably will. But I openly admit, if you're basing it on efficiency and stats alone, Luck wouldn't win. It's about the bigger picture, and the voters will see that. It's about doing more with less. The stats even out; sure Luck has the most picks and lowest completion percentage of the candidates, but look at his yards and touchdowns. Look at his game winning drives. Luck is being asked to do a lot more than RG3 and Wilson, which will make his interceptions and completion percentage more acceptable to the voters. They're gonna realize that his importance to his team is far greater than the other candidates.

Those who favor traditional pocket passers, and QB's who throw for a prolific amount of yards
Again, those "prolific" yards arent impressive in this day and age, especially when You add the fact that he throws tons of int's and barely completes 50% of his passes which he throws a ton of. His comebacks are the one thing people are raving about anymore. Funny how every expert who claims Luck should win ROY have to bring up and beg the reader to forgive his godawful amount of int's while the only knock on RG3 they all come up with was He missed a game. In reality this should be a 2 horse race, Luck INTSTRONGED himself out of contention and Russell has emerged as RG3's closest competion but this aint reality and those 7 comebacks(needed in large part to his turnovers) and hype keep his name in the mix.

I actually prefer passer rating.

RG3 is the #2 rated passer in the entire NFL. I have no idea where Luck is but I have a hunch he ain't #1.
29th  He's actually now one spot below Tannehill.

Adrian Peterson has 6 runs of 50 yards or more. Manning has 2 passes of more than 50 yards. Who is the MVPeterson again?

Yeah, 7 game winning drives.

That's because in 7 out of 10 of the Colts wins, they've been behind due to The Luck Turnover Machine, and the fact that he isn't completing half of his passes.

As far as this intangible "being asked to do more," we'll I don't really know about that.

RG3 is being "asked" to turn the Redskins - who haven't had a wining season in 5 years - into winners. And he's done that. That's a huge deal. Luck was "asked" to get a perennial playoff team 2 years removed from a super bowl run and one year from tanking the season back into the playoffs, and he's done it. And hey that's good, he's living up to expectations- but I'm not sure why it's such a surprise or accomplishment. The division has two of the worst teams in football in it, and the colts were coddled by a last place schedule.

The NFL is a "what have you done lately" institution and people have short memories. Wilson is creeping up on both their asses and starting to wonder if he becomes a trendy pick for voters.

Super Bowl bet 2010... You backed out of a bet because you either had no faith in YOUR team to win it or after all your parading around for 10 months about the COLTS road BACK to the Super Bowl starts NOW, you knew a loss would mean your having to leave Sludge and thereby ending your trolling..

Face it Greg, you flip flop! It would not be surprising if your last name were Romney..

Then why use FAKE Poison tour posters in your sig Greg? Poison opened for Def Leppard (again) this past summer. You bitched about it a few months before hand and yet trolled along with a self made poster regarding their tour and claimed it was "co-headlining" (again)... Poison has not even announced a tour for 2013, but yet you sport another fake poster in your sig now.. Why? To troll people..

You're the American version of SexxAttraxxion on here Greg.. Wear it proudly!

You can hope all you want, but it ain't gonna help Andrew Luck make the pro bowl. Too many turnovers is my guess, and that 50 percent completion percentage can't help. He finished behind Peyton and your old friend Tom Brady. And Schaub.

Reggie Wayne did though - I was wrong about him, he had a great year. Still, I stand by my opinion that the Skins made the right move in picking up Garcon - a young player who can grow with RG3, and is having a fantastic season.

Oh, and congratulations to RG motherfucking 3.

Pro Bowl QB. Soon to be rookie of the year.

How in the world did Dez Bryant not make the team? What a crime. I hope the omission motivates him to play a great game Sunday night.

D. Ware and Witten made the team.
Each was more than deserving.

Dez should be on that team over Victor Cruz or Julio Jones
Dez has more catches, more yards, more TD's and a better Average

The Pro Bowl is a proven sham. It's a fucking shame and outrage that Matt fucking Schaub got in over Luck. Whoever voted for Schaub ought to be thrown off the voting panel. Luck had more fan votes than Schaub.

RG3 can thank the ESPN hype machine for his nomination.

Isn't it funny that the guy who lambastes other people for imaginary "excuses" makes more excuses than ANYBODY?

Blame the hype machine instead of explaining why somebody else should have made it in over RG3. That's much easier.

RG3 is the #2 rated passer in the league, and is having an amazing overall season - this is the near-unanimous opinion. Who should have made it over him? Wilson? Romo? Care to explain why?

Or just offer up some excuses.

In a way, this is a really good practice run for after RG3 wins ROY over Luck.

Are we gonna get the same excuses ("hype machine?" "Sham?"), or will you be manufacturing new ones?

LOL @ Gregg bringing up "fan vote."

RG3 had about 200 fucking THOUSAND more fan votes than Andrew "Pick Six" Luck.

Earlier, "I hope Wayne and Luck get in."

So you either care or do not. Which? If andy suck would've gotten in, you would have been praising him making it.

Anyone with the amount of passing yards that RGLeaf has should NOT be in the pro bowl. Romo should have gotten in over him, for one. Romo has an identical completion percentage to RGLeaf, despite throwing almost double the amount of passes. He has 1500 more passing yards. 1500 MORE. He has SIX more touchdowns. There are others who should have gotten in over RGLeaf, but Romo is one example of a player who was clearly head and shoulders above him. But Romo does not have the BSPN hype machine behind him, hence he did not make it.

Having RG3 in the pro bowl is a disgrace to the NFL.

And so glad there's been no "hype machine" behind Andrew Leaf this season! I mean, it's almost as if nobody knows who he is!

Like I said, I'm loving this practice run of Excuses from Gregg. The question remains - have you already shot your load? When RG3 wins Rookie of the Year, do we get brand new excuses, or are you just going to fall back on "Sham" and "Hype Machine."

Cause honestly, that shit is weak sauce. And I HATE the fucking expression "weak sauce" and have never used it. Until now.

That shit is THAT weak.

Goddamn Gregg, you do NOT take losing well. These excuses are pathetic.

I love how you didn't even have ONE WORD to refute the FACT that Romo should have gotten in over RG3. The numbers are so overwhelming in Romo's favor that you can't even address it.

I couldn't care less that RG3 made it, though. It is a disgrace to the NFL, but that's not my problem. I don't care much about the NFC roster. My problem is Schaub getting in over Luck.

As a football fan who pretty much hates everything about the Redskins this side of Art Monk and Riggo. RG3 is a great player and deserves to be in the pro bowl.

And the only hype machine is those ESPN hacks trying to see if they can talk about Luck enough that he gets ROY. They never stfu about Luck. How dare you use hype machine as an excuse.

The fact that you are claiming Romo should be in over RG3 - when literally no other football fan or pundit ON THE FUCKING PLANET feels the same way - certainly shows that you in no way or form could care less that RG3 is a pro bowl QB and Andrew "hype machine" Leaf isn't.

Romo.

Again, I need to ask: Will you have new excuses for us come Rookie of the Year time, or are just gonna dust off the ones you so limply and pathetically brought us here. Is that REALLY your best work?

So by your logic, the most popular artists are always the best ones. By your logic, Tebow is the best player of the last two years. RG3 is a popular player, Romo not so much. My logic states that popularity shouldn't decide who the better player is. But maybe you're talking about popularity since Romo's numbers shit all over RG3's.

By my logic, RG3 is a the ONLY rookie QB in the fucking YEAR of the rookie QB to make it to the pro bowl.

As you have discovered many times this year, winners don't MAKE excuses. They don't have to.

That's YOUR job.
