I like how every now and then p13 claims that RG3 doesn't throw downfield. When in reality, he has completed a higher percentage of passes over 20 yards than anyone in the NFL. And with fewer INT's than another rookie qb that is very overrated.

Ain't that the truth, thank God Peyton has gone to Denver.

Wouldn't it just be fantastic if the airplane carrying the Colts with Poison along for the ride because thier going to be the half-time entertainment crashed right on top of lil pp's house and there were no survivors.

I feel just like MLK did, I too have a dream.

Yep. Rg3 throws downfield plenty. And unlike andrew Leaf, he throws it downfield only to HIS OWN TEAMMATES.

That's probably what has Gregg confused.

And again, by posting constantly about RG3, over and over and over, and over, Gregg is showing that he absolutely could not care less about Pro Bowl QB RG3.

Very convincingly.

How long does it take to make a ruling on the
Seahawks DB Richard Sherman and his alleged failed doping test?

Suspend the guy already.

He was ruled suspended for 4 games, has appealed, was able to play vs the 49ers
and continues to practice with the team this week.
WTF!!!
Sherman's appeal was based on errors in the chain of custody of his sample and that there were mistakes made by the tester. He's been outspoken in believing the NFL is not following proper procedures as laid out in the collective bargaining agreement.

Sherman reiterated those thoughts Wednesday and expressed a desire to pursue his case further in court, even though it wouldn't help him get back on the field this season if the suspension is upheld.

"I can't get back playing regardless. I can just sue the league, and that's probably what I'm going to do if they suspend me," Sherman said.

After more a month of fighting the NFL over a proposed four-game suspension, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman has reportedly won his appeal hearing, and he will not be suspended at all. Sherman tweeted out the news on Thursday, and that news was later confirmed by several sources.

The second-year cornerback traveled to the league offices in New York City last Friday to appeal a four-game suspension for a violation of the league's substance abuse policy that was handed down in late November. While teammate Brandon Browner started serving his suspension right away, Sherman wanted to fight his. Though both players were suspended after testing positive for Adderall, Sherman saw his case a little differently.

In his Friday appeal, Sherman attested that the cup with his urine specimen leaked, which forced the person collecting the sample to use a second cup underneath the first one. Thus, Sherman argued, the presence of the second cup (the seal on which was broken) violated the chain of custody requirements for a fair test.

On Wednesday, Sherman told a group of reporters that he would sue the NFL if he did not win.

The news is huge for the 10-5 Seahawks, who didn't know if they'd have Sherman -- who might be the game's best cornerback -- for their playoff run. Now, they'll have Sherman and Browner back to start, and Jeremy Lane, who played very well in Browner's absence, available for slot duty.

So the urine is clean because a 2nd cup was used?
Fuck Him and fuck the NFL!

What a bunch of B.S.

Can someone please explain if the people that are handling the tainted samples qualified to do so? There should never, ever be a mistake when handling this kind of evidence.

FUCK YOU!!

every single fan of every single team thinks the Refs are against them, are for their rivals, and that the media hates their team. No joke, go check out some football forums.

Hey Gregg - or anybody else - who wants to see how RG3 doesn't throw the ball downfield, check out the first Skins/Cowboys game tonight on NFL Network at 8. You won't see RG3 throwing 4 TD and several gorgeous deep and middle downfield passes.

And you won't see Gregg whine about (more excuses! Excuses excuses excuses!) how receivers are "wide open," when in fact the reason they are wide open in RG3's sick play action move that destroys defenders and has them chasing ghosts.

You also won't see Pierre Garcon - who Gregg retardedly took to calling a "bust" after five games -having one of his many completely not awesome games for the Redskins this season, which didn't make him one of the best free agent pickups of the year.

Gregg. He's not a moron.

I will find something else to watch on t.v. tonight. No chance I am going to replay this game.
I already know how the Dallas safeties basically let the WR's run passed them for big plays.

Come on now...I watched that game 5 times and it's not ALL the safties' fault. Like I said, it's hard to blame them and the backers for biting on RG3's sick play action move - I mean, it's probably the best, EVER, in the history of the NFL.

But I don't think you can blame the safety on that PERFECT end zone corner pass that RG3 floated in to Santana Moss' hands in the 2nd quarter. Defender had that covered about as nicely as he possibly could have in that situation.

Not as nice as the deep one to 'Tana in the recent Eagles game, but gorgeous nonetheless.

Of course he does. I hear Andrew Luck leads the league in Yards Per Attempy...to opposing players via INT

Oh, and congrats to RG3, just selected by NFL Network as the 2012 Fantasy Rookie of the Year.

Beating out Doug Martin, and of course Andrew "get used to losing accolades to RG3" Luck.

Congrats! Certainly not anything to seriously care about, but a harbinger of things to come.

RG3 will win Rookie of the Year. And Gregg's excuses are ALREADY used up!!!

So sad.

If Dallas had won the game, I might have also watched the game about 5 times to date.
McCray, the Dallas safety, he had a shit game that night. Led to his benching last week vs Saints.
A safety should run back as deep as the WR, but instead on that night he Dallas safety looked into the backfield, while watching the WR run passed him and for a TD.
I think the announcer at the time on t.v. made a reference to how fast Garcon is and the defense needs to watch for him.
Next play, TD for the bad guys!!

I told you I watched that game about 5 times

Robinson has actually been very quiet since that game.

He probably has been quiet because legit safeties are covering him down
the field.
McCray was not the #1 safety on the team, but when Barry Church was injured and put on IR, McCray was the next man in line.
He's a much better special teams player but sucks in coverage.

Luck leads the league in completions over 20 yards, with 63. RG3... has 47.

That takes into considerations all plays. So luck could hit somebody for a 7 yard slant, and they run for however many yards. RG3 leads the league in completion percentage with passes that travel 20 yards through the air to get to the receiver. Which proves he does not check it down, as you claim.

It's been a pretty brutal day for Gregg huh?

Where's his Excusin' Spirit?

I think reality is starting to hit him. And it's a reality that doesn't see Andrew "check down" Leaf winning Rookie of the Year.

I mean...when a guy can't even beat Shaub onto the Pro Bowl roster...

More proof that you do not understand the game of football, and should stick to soccer. You can play word games all you want, but the funny thing is you didn't say that Leaf throws for a lot of passes that travel 20 yards or more. You said his completion percentage of such passes is superior. A player can be 5/5 with a completion percentage of 100%, but that does not mean shit. But Leaf fans will never be able to say that he throws for a lot of anything, because he simply does not throw the ball much. That's because he isn't trusted to do so. He's almost dead last in the league in attempts. What does that tell you? Has there ever been an elite QB in NFL history that has ranked that low in attempts? NOPE.
