This was terrible... the NXT homos took down the old guys one by one... Anderson, Malenko, Rotunda, Lawler, Hayes, and then Steamboat.
They're like the evil spirit squad.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread

If this is true, why didn't WWE take care of this sooner? I know next to nothing about VISAS but surely they knew this day was coming.
Credit: PWInsider
- Wade Barrett, leader of RAW’s Nexus stable, has been pulled from WWE TV and live events because his work visa has expired and he’s no longer eligible to work in the United States. Barrett has returned to the UK where he’s waiting on a new visa to be cleared.
Drew McIntyre is going through the same problems. You may remember from SmackDown where WWE started a storyline saying Drew was being deported. This isn’t far from real life but it’s possible that McIntyre is still here in the States. Regardless, he’s also unable to work right now. If McIntyre is still here, it’s possible that he can stay while a green card application is approved since he’s married to WWE Diva Tiffany.
There’s no timetable yet on when Barrett or McIntyre can return.
Where's Izzy?

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
the NXT takeover is awesome
Vince has to be pissed, first Daniel Bryan fucks up,
Bret quits as GM or isnt there..the showdown with Bret and NXT at Fatal 4way got axed, had to go with something else
Barret has visa problems
best thing in a longtme off to a rough start
who would sign NXT 7 to contracts? it would have to be HHH right? they do this to bring him back. I hope HHH isnt involved with NXT 7
if Bryan really isnt "fired", it would make sense it he was the mystery GM behind the emails. Who else would sigh the NXT 7?

Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

I think the mystery GM is Cole. That will explain Bryan's "firing" and the fact that Cole never gets beat down by Nexus. And he reads those e-mails like he wrote them...

Totally agree. If he's not the GM, I'll be very surprised.Monty610 wrote:I think the mystery GM is Cole. That will explain Bryan's "firing" and the fact that Cole never gets beat down by Nexus. And he reads those e-mails like he wrote them...

If Cole is GM, I will probably stop watching WWE. It can only get worse from then on out.

I'm betting money that the writers aren't even sure who the GM is yet.silent_eyes wrote:Totally agree. If he's not the GM, I'll be very surprised.Monty610 wrote:I think the mystery GM is Cole. You may just be right. But I'll say this... if Cole is NOT the GM, the writers definitely want everyone to think he is so they can try and swerve everyone.LynnrdVonHetfield wrote:I'm betting money that the writers aren't even sure who the GM is yet.silent_eyes wrote:Totally agree. HBK will be the pointless GM by Bummer Slam or Snorvivor Series.

Let's not rule out this man as GM:

Where's Izzy?

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
I say Jim Ross (Heel), Paul E, or Cornette. I think WWE will try and shock us. Just my 2cents.

Got this from

WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat remains hospitalized in Tampa after suffering a brain aneurysm on Wednesday night, according to Dave Meltzer of WrestlingObserver.com. His condition has been upgraded to stable.
Powell's POV: That's a lot more serious than the WWE website report seemed to suggest earlier today when they said he went to the hospital with neck and shoulder pain. WWE has been quick to point out that his condition is likely unrelated to the "stunt" that he performed with The Nexus during Monday's WWE Raw.
This original source for the above news was Dave Meltzer of WrestlingObserver.com.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
didn't no TNA was still on thursdays? TNAis so original, change is everywhere in the Orlando tv studio. So after WWE had a Fatal 4way, now thats TNA next event laughable! WWE does something with the young NXT takeover, so TNA is doing a ECW takeover? ha,ha TNA is so lame. It gets worse the Sting Dixie Dumbass conversation was so bad it was laughable. TNA keeps promoting TNA Mankind like he has any crossover appeal. The main event was just a bore
What was the big announcement Dixie teased the fans with? I thought it might be dropping the pay per views was it
new GM should be Owen Harts wife

Smackdown... somehow smackdown has managed to get so bad, it even makes TNA look good. I don't know how, but they've pulled it off.

WHAT?
You mean you weren't impressed with The new imitation Kurt Angle, Mister Jack Thwagger?
With his bulging "love handles" sticking out of his singlet and his repetative babbling like Sylvester the cat?
I'm shocked.

Thwagger's about-to-cry "intense" face is funny, though, I'll give him that.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
By the numbers, the new General Manager of RAW will be....
60% Chance they go with the obvious, Steve Austin. It's been a few months since Stone Cold has had any promotion, and you know Vince can't go any real length of time without cashing in on that piece of history.
15% Chance it's Shane O' Mac. He's been out of touch for quite a while, the whole "rebellion against Dad" thing is a tired schtick, but that's never stopped the E before, now has it?
5% Chance it's JR. OK, the Austin quotes tonight COULD be attributed to JR, trying to swerve the audience. I doubt it. Seems there's gotta be some friction between the E and Ole' JR. Otherwise we'd see a lil' more of him.
5% Chance it's Brian Danials. There's been some talk here about it, but I'd think the E is looking to put Danials back in the ring in a more conventional manner. This doesn't fit.
5% Chance it's Bret Hart on a double swerve. Possible, Hart turns heel, actually recruited the NXT boys to "assemble a new world order" and "God Bless Canada".
5% Chance it's actually Cole. Possible, but I doubt it. The only way I could see this happening is if Cole's contract is up and they're looking to move him out.
5% Unknown, they completely swerve everyone and actually suprise me.
