The only legend they need in that company is Sting. I'd LOVE to see what Heyman could do with him. Other than that... they don't need Hogan or Nash. If they're bleeding money like all the talk says they are, I think getting rid of those two could help out quite a bit.Drunken_Little_Elf wrote:I know not to believe everything you hear, but the fact that Vince is upset that a 45 year old man decided to retire is hilarious. Don't worry Vinnie, I'm sure Kevin Nash will be looking for work when his TNA contract expires later this year. But for now, maybe you could try and "create" some new "stars".Angry Jew wrote:Credit: F4WOnline.com
It seems there might be some tension right now between WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and former WWE superstar Shawn Michaels. According to Dave Meltzer, McMahon recently made the call to have the announcers no longer mention Michaels on air and for there to be no footage of him shown on WWE television. Reports are circulating that the reasoning behind this was that Michaels was very unhappy about the Bryan Danielson situation. It's also believed that McMahon is upset that HBK decided to call time on his wrestling career, as McMahon felt there was still more years left in the tank. Michaels is said to be very distanced from having any involvement with wrestling at this point.
And Dixie not understanding why Heyman wants to get rid of the older guys or at least give them a diminished role speaks volumes about the state of TNA lol.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
I hadn't tuned into wrestling for a while since Wrestlemania.. kinda been lurking on this thread and watched TNA to see how they would handle ECW storyline.. and i gotta say it sucked
Dixie comes off as a dumb bitch
ECW guys are washed up now.. its also ridiculous that most of the "ECW" guys that Dixie "invited" were last with TNA .. which makes the whole thing look pretty dumb..Last weeks TNA ending made no fuckin sense and AL SNOW looked pretty stupid acting all surprised...haha what a mess
but yeah TNA needs to trim the fat get rid of the older guys that serve no real purpose other than hanging on to the spotlight
Get rid of
NASH
BISCHOFF
HOGAN
JEFF JARRETT
MICK FOLEY
and keep guys like Sting, Kurt Angle , and RVD to put the younger guys over and keep Flair as a "Manager" but not as a wrestler

Ya know.. I really prefer Pantene...
Are we SURE Russo is not back working for WWE?
This whole Pantene Team, I mean NXT, oh wait.. Nexus.. reeks of NWO.
That mixed with the Cena team, the use of less than 1/2 the roster and the virtual GM = Seriously bad writing.

Mr Perfect son sucks, no character or image
Y2J is looking forward to another Dumbass Dixie production this sunday Horrendous Hardcore!
Why he sees TNA as being a “vanity project that’s been treading water for the last four years,” why he sees their booking being “horrendous,” why the HardCORE Justice could spike their PPV buyrates, & why bringing in Tommy Dreamer could be just what the company needs: “They got nothing else going on, their booking is horrendous, and I say that with the utmost respect for those guys and I most desire to see them succeed, but it’s crap. You know it’s crap, they throw stuff up against the wall, and it’s so hard to watch when it doesn’t have to be. They’re doing 10,000 buys on Pay-Per-View, so let’s bring back The Sandman & Sabu, and maybe they could do 30,000 buys. Go for it; maybe they can do something out of it. Having a guy like Tommy Dreamer involved behind the scenes might be what they need. Get rid of the same old stuff that they have been doing over & over, and bring in someone with a new perspective, and maybe that will help them get their heads out of there asses and just making some money instead of doing this as sort of a vanity project that’s been treading water for the last four years.”

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Barring a dramatic turn of events, the main event of Sunday's TNA Hardcore Justice pay-per-view featuring Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn will not take place as advertised. Multiple sources report that Lynn was forced to pull out of the show due to a back injury.
There were rumblings earlier this week that the match was in jeopardy because Lynn had to pull out of a scheduled indy match this weekend. It is believed that TNA officials found out about the cancellation within the last 24 hours. TNA has yet to announce the cancellation, so there's no word yet on what the new main event will be.

The PPV was actually pretty good. It was great to see The Gangstas there considering I don't think that Mustafa has been on any sort of televised wrestling show since around the late 90's. And New Jack is well.... New Jack who is always entertaining.
RVD/Sabu put on a very good match. This is the first time ever that Sabu hasn't botched a move during a match from what I've seen over the years. It sucks that we didn't get RVD/Jerry Lynn but this match more than made up for it IMO.
