Sherman is an asshole. Since people don't usually pay attention to the Seahawks his behavior has not generated the kind of attention that it would if he played for the Lions for example. Right now all the attention is focused on Wilson and 'Seattles great D'. But as they make it farther I expect alot of the mainstream to turn on him.johnk5150 wrote:They're saying his mouth is what kept him off the pro bowl roster.

He is an asshole, but one hell of a corner as well. And I appreciate any guy who will get in Brady's face the way he did.sin wrote:Sherman is an asshole. Never mind. He was brought in to consult. He's recommending Marc Trestmann from the Montreal Alouettes. WTF?

How has Arians not been linked to any HC jobs yet? He'll probably get coach of the year so I expected him to get offers.

Maybe teams know that while Arians had a great run, the Colts tanked 2011, and their 11-5 record with the cupcake schedule and a terrible division wasn't really enough of a sample size to bring a guy in for HC interviews.WTF wrote:Maybe teams are afraid he'll kick the bucket mid-season.bane wrote:How has Arians not been linked to any HC jobs yet? Would you hire Arians as your HC based on the 2012 season? I didn't think so. Me neither.

Re: NFL 2012 Thread, Bitches!!!!
The guy had success as a coordinator prior to the Colts gig, and unlike most candidates who have never been anything bigger than coordinator, he has the better part of a winning season as HC on his résumé. I'd think it was worth an interview at least. Maybe the medical stuff is scaring teams away.Crazy Levi wrote:Maybe teams know that while Arians had a great run, the Colts tanked 2011, and their 11-5 record with the cupcake schedule and a terrible division wasn't really enough of a sample size to bring a guy in for HC interviews.WTF wrote:Maybe teams are afraid he'll kick the bucket mid-season.bane wrote:How has Arians not been linked to any HC jobs yet? He was in the hospital recently. He missed the Ravens game. I don't think it was a big deal though. Flu or something.Crazy Levi wrote:I wasn't aware he was ill. I heard he is painting melanomas on his hands to make him a more attractive head coaching candidate.

That would be funny if it wasn't the AIDS. Ain't nothin funny about the AIDS, except, of course, when its used to poke sticks at Greggles.
Re: NFL 2012 Thread, Bitches!!!!
With the QB-friendly rep that Arians has, if he leaves for a head coaching job we just may be looking at someone from Indy breaking the all-time single season interception record. It's only 42.

I hope this is the correct choice.
Not sure if the game has passed Monte or not.
Rob Ryan was a fine coach, but I think the defense cost the Cowboys a couple games early in the season. What pissed me off the most about
Ryan's defense was the lack of turnovers.
The other team had to know Dallas did not have ball-hawks and would not force any fumbles.

Can Peyton change his habits?
0-3 in playoff games where the temp is under 40 degrees.
1-4 in home playoff games after a bye.

That Denver team is so much more complete than anything he had in Indy most of the time that it's apples and oranges.Facedown wrote:Can Peyton change his habits?
