Tebow would've been a great backup qb/slash type player without the hype and entourage.

Yeah! That's him. He's been a superfan since 1978...he was assaulted by Eagles fans in 1979 at the Vet. They broke his leg and knocked an eye out of it's socket.

More recently, Zee came into the luxury suite I was in during the Redskins/Eagles game. I guess he has free access to go wherever he wants. He took a picture with my 7-year old nephew and anybody else who wanted one, was really cool and everybody was happy to see him.

He's looking good actually...in previous years he was zipping around on a rascal but he was walking around fine this season.

He was great friends with Crazy Ray, the unofficial Cowboys mascot. Dan Snyder flew him down to Dallas in 2007 for Ray's funeral.

A bit about that:

Wrong.

In 2005, we were second in offense and second in defense. In 2007, we were third in offense and first in defense. In 2006 we had the best ranking playoff defense, a main reason why we went on to win the Super Bowl. The 2012 Broncos are #4 on offense and # 2 on defense. So they rank behind every Colts team I mentioned above.

Know your shit, boy.

Andrew Luck, Aaron Rodgers share some similarities

INDIANAPOLIS -- Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy watched quarterback Aaron Rodgers develop from a high-ceiling, first-round draft pick into a Super Bowl and regular-season MVP. This week, he prepares for a highly touted No. 1 overall pick in Indianapolis Colts rookie signal-caller Andrew Luck.

McCarthy compared the two during a Wednesday conference call.

"Both guys were born to play the positon," McCarthy said. "If you watched Andrew Luck go through college, there's no surprise where he was drafted and that he started from the first day. Aaron's path was a little different -- he had a chance to sit and learn.

"But you're talking about two very talented individiuals."

Rodgers sat behind Brett Favre for three years before being asked to replace the future Hall of Famer. He immediately began to throw for 4,000 yards.

Luck replaced future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning on Day 1. The Colts, obviously, would love for him to have Rodgers-like success.

"Very similar," said Bruce Arians, the Colts' offensvie coordinator and interim coach. "Aaron's very mobile. Very accurate. Has got good velocity. Obviously can handle a fast-paced game or a slow-paced game.

"I think they're very similar in a lot ways; their size, athleticism. So, it's a good comparison."

Luck, humbly, wanted to temper those comparison.

"I think I've got a long way to go to be compared to Aaron Rodgers," Luck said. "He's definitely someone I enjoy watching. His command over the offense -- a guy looks covered, Aaron's done a great job with back-shoulder throws or a tight end running with a linebacker down the middle; putting it in the right spot, the only spot where it can be caught.

"It's a lot of fun to watch him play and make plays with his feet as well. He's a great quarterback."

Luck is right in the fact that he has a long way to go. The foundation is there -- dedication to the game, underrated athelticism, good footwork, accuracy. There was a time when Rodgers' arm strength was questioned. Luck is there now.

It will be interesting to watch Luck and the Colts try to keep pace with Rodgers and the Packers' offense.

And He would be right, You see even the guy Who had no idea which team to throw it to so often this season knows it's not the brightest thing to compare a League MVP and super bowl champ, not to mention the highest rated QB in history thus far to a guy who was rated towards the bottom of the barrell. He hasent earned the right to be mentioned in the same breath as Rodgers, not with those fucking numbers, next time compare him to someone rated in the mid 60's with an abysmal pass% and a tendency to throw a ton of picks then You'd finally make a little sense.

Granted Peyton has been a starter for 14 seasons compared to Aaron's 5 seasons. It took Peyton NINE (9) seasons to win a Super Bowl whereas Aaron took THREE (3) seasons as a starter to win the Super Bowl!!! I think, as do many others that when it is all said and done, Aaron Rodgers will surpass Peyton's numbers, regular season and otherwise!!! If he stays on the pace he is on and judging by his career postseason stats, it definitely won't take long to match the number of postseason starts but A-Rod will definitely have a better winning percentage, QB Rating and Lombardi trophies, not to mention Super Bowl MVP's!!!

In regards to Luck this season, YES, he did beat Rodgers & The Packers but who is still in the playoffs?
I think He'll end his career with a higher rating but I don't think He catches him in Yards, att, comp because He sat too long behind ol' man Favre, but You never know in todays game with the rule changes and guys constantly putting up 4500 yard seasons.

Plus, ANY AFC playoff team would have beaten the Bears that year.

Yeah, its just another Chapter in the retard legend that is Gregg that he is always going on about the fucking Colts like they were some kind of Dynasty.

They won ONE super bowl - just like the Bucs, the ravens, the saints, the packers...All latter day dynasties right?

There is ONE recent dynasty, and it's the patriots. The only other team that is close is the steelers.

Aww get over yourself its just a silly tradition just like the dawg pound in Cleveland the crazy fuckers in Oakland the terrible towel in Pittsburgh etc.

You're making it sound like these guys are fags or something for dressing up their just having fun and getting some camera time to boot.

Looking at the size of some of them I doubt if you ran into them on the street you'd be wanting to mess with them that's just me though I'm not some ex bouncer that is a serious ass kicker. :P

I do miss seeing a QB sit behind a star and learn for awhile before being thrown into the starting line up. Going back to Stafford all these guys could learn a little before being thrown in and told save our team. Kurt Warner would have washed out before he ever got a chance if he started right away. The same could be said for Brady.

Looks like I was right about Dr. Andrews' phony RGTebow statement, and that only gullible fans like Levy should believe it.

Griffin’s knee creates more concern than advertised

And now we know why Dr. James Andrews is pumping the brakes regarding the presumption that Robert Griffin III will become Adrian Peterson II.

Per a league source, there is much greater concern regarding Griffin’s knee than anyone connected to the Redskins or Griffin has publicly conceded.

Yes, he tore his LCL and his ACL. Yes, it won’t be easy to rehab both ligaments at the same time. Yes, they had to invade his healthy knee for a patellar tendon graft. And, yes, Griffin suffered a partial tear of his meniscus when tearing the ACL, a common consequence when the ACL is damaged.

All of those pieces of information have made their way to the media. But the entire result is a stew of concerns that has created a far more negative vibe in and around the Griffin camp than the pronouncements of optimism and quasi-guarantees that he’ll be good as new by September 2013.

Apart from the fact that there’s no way to know how the ACL will rehab, the biggest concern, as the source explained it, is the damage to Griffin’s cartilage. With the ACL in the right knee now torn twice in less than four years, Griffin has lost enough cartilage in his knee to raise concerns about how much remains and how long it will last. Eventually, Griffin could be dealing with bone-on-bone contact, and the chronic pain that goes along with it.

And he’s still only 22.

The first ACL tear was long forgotten during Griffin’s stellar rookie season. In fact, most fans didn’t even know about it, because Griffin was hardly a nationally-known name at the time the injury happened. But there was a real physical risk when the Redskins gave up three first-round picks and a second-round pick to get Griffin, and less than a year after making the trade the team now has to wonder whether Griffin ever will be the same — and if he is how long that will possibly last.

They say it's been thirty years and they've had enough. I agree it's strange they wouldn't want to tough it out another year or so but I guess they figure they are going out on a high note.

Besides wearing dresses and snouts, the guys (naturally) raised lots of money for charity and regularly brought smiles and joy to sick kids at children's hospital.

Well, Peyton has a great history in the playoffs in the cold, I'm sure he'll dig it out.
