Flaco was great, and I too wondered how such an inexperienced QB would go, but I don't think you're right in the second half of your statement. Bar the one interception (which was not in itself the losing of the game) he had an excellent game and was rock solid under pressure. Hell, the 49ers were DEAD at one point, and many a more experienced QB might have folded. And yeah, he runs a lot, but he has a monster arm too. Only time will tell for sure, but I think there's everything to suggest that he could be a successful big game QB.
He has a good arm and can make plays. But in order for him to be successful in the long run, he'll have to turn into more of a pocket passer. That's just the recipe for long term success in the NFL. I didn't make it up, just look at the list of Super Bowl winning QBs. Running a gimmick offense in the pistol formation will only get you so far. But I think Kaepernick does have what it takes to modify his game slightly and become a great pocket passer, with the ability to escape and run when he needs to.
Overall he did have a pretty good game, but not excellent. The one interception was extremely costly.

No they don't, idiot.
You and Levi want to say he played like an elite QB this post-season? I agree.
Does that automatically make him an elite QB? No, it doesn't.
Do it consistantly for a couple more years and he can have his elite status.

I watched the game and saw the CBS Footage of the occasionals when Harbaugh was complaining about the non-calls against his team
Harbaugh needs to calm down and realize that every "bad call" is not against his team.
San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh criticized the officials for what he believed was a pivotal non-call in the final minutes of his team's Super Bowl loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
"I really want to handle this with class and grace, and we had several opportunities in this game," said Harbaugh, who also claimed that Baltimore committed a pass interference penalty against Crabtree on second-and-goal. "We didn't play our best game, and the Ravens made a lot of plays and battled back.
"They competed to win. But there's no question in my mind that there was a pass interference -- and then a hold on Crabtree on the last one."
Harbaugh later stopped in the middle of his postgame news conference to reiterate his dissatisfaction with the officiating on the fourth-and-goal play.
"I realize I'm on the side of the 49ers," he said. "I'm the coach of the 49ers -- there is some bias there. But I wouldn't be bringing it up unless it was obvious. But that's not the way (the refs) saw it. That's the only reason I bring it up."

The one big ref fuck up was not throwing 29 for the ravens out for shoving an official. But that had no bearing on the outcome on the game.
the refs really had an agenda for this game.
they let the players play.
not sure if that was a good idea or not.
i think the refs took a lot of verbal abuse for allowing the players to play.
i think Harbaugh for the 49ers already had a rep of whining about non calls against his team during the season.
numerous times cameras caught him during the reg season having a tantrum on the sidelines.

Yes, it led to a failed fake FG attempt.
More importantly, it shifted momentum massively toward Baltimore, and it put a lot of doubt into Kaepernick's mind. He seemed out of the game from that point until the blackout, when he somehow regained his composure.

Fucking baby got 3 challenges and 5 timeouts in a half against the Vikes and the replacement refs.
he's a great coach, but he is a fucking raging vagina.
That Cowboys defense failed every big test it had last season.
Also, one of the more injury plagued defenses in the entire league.

It's a fact. They lost a lot of starters, and then their backups, through the year. I'm not even a Dallas fan, but I can be objective about it. Two years in a row now that the defense, through one way or another, cost them the season.

True
Dallas D has a lot of significant injuries. Towards the end of the season back-ups were asked to do the job of a starter.
Sean Lee was probably the biggest loss on D. Having him off the field probably cost the team several wins.
Hiring Rob Ryan seems like a joke on the Saints.
Are you telling me there was nobody else available or qualified to
serve that role??

The Redskins suffered many devastating injuries this season - including early season-enders to most of their starting defensive line.
Didn't stop them from sweeping the Cowboys and going 5-1 in the division did it?
In fact, Rob Jackson - a "backup asked to do the job of a starter," Brian Orakpo, ended the Cowboys' season by intercepting Romo.
Excuses are unseemly in the NFL. Injuries are cost of doing business.
Hey, just thought I'd mention this since it's obviously forgotten. Thought this one was gonna slip away like an errant Andrew Leaf pass, Gregg?
dtmfs - are you going to come up with a sig for Gregg? To the victor goes the spoils. You can be sure his bitch ass wouldn't have let it slip his mind.
You don't even have to make it. Feel free to recycle my RG3 rookie of the year sig.
Looks like Gregg will have a second chance to welch! And they say there are no second chances in life...
