I'd train out if you're buying. Probably not even if it was so. Long Island is out of the way of EVERYTHING.

Although, this is possibly the best year to be moved down the draft considering the talent available.

So who would be better/who is going to be better - Drouin or MacKinnon?

MacKinnon. Drouin is no scrub by any means, but he seems to be soft on the puck somewhat. He lost quite a few 1 on 1 puck battles in the Moosehead games I watched this season and wasn't overly found of helping out in the defensive end.Mackinnon is the more complete player,IMO.
Cool.

Nice one St Louis :D

They say you just can't flick a switch and suddenly play great but the Bruins played their first 60 minute game all season and dominated the Leafs.

When does the Jets' series start?Oh wait..

:P

They were thoroughly outplayed tonight.Too many Leafs standing around in their own end watching the game.If they can't put together a better effort than this it's gonna be a very short series :/

Hoping the Habs can flick that same switch. Though I'm starting to think 4th would have been better than 2nd. Leafs looked thoroughly happpy to be there; scored a goal; and packed their tent and went home. Kessel? Kadri? Grabovski? Plenty of passengers last night.

Sums it up the Leafs pretty well.

And man the Blues/Kings series is the one to watch. Go Blues!

If I'm playing in that series, Karlsson would be leaving with a torn ACL/MCL! Yeah, it was Diaz' "fault", but Gryba is going to get a game for targeting the head, even if it wasn't completely on purpose. Eller was unconscious before he hit the ice, which is what caused all the damage. What I don't get is: where's the Habs "pushback". You don't allow that to happen to a team mate, with no retribution at any point.

^ I don't think he deserves a suspension. Both HNIC and TSN panels feel the same way. He does have a noon hearing today, which indicates that some form of punishment is coming, however.

Horrible play from Diaz, there's a reason they're called suicide passes.Eller drops his head to pick it up,just a really horrible play.I feel bad for Gryba. He led with the shoulder and Eller drops his head at the same instance.

Regardless, it certainly wasn't interference, Eller did touch the puck before contact was made. The ref's call(in terms of minutes, misconduct) was more a reaction to the blood than anything else.

Definitely reminiscent of Kevin Stevens in 1993.

You could send White out for retribution, but that always ends up with the red light flashing behind Price.

Light winds up on behind Price anyways! His time here may be coming to an end. If he doesn't win this series; or more specifically if he looks bad losing it - a lynch mob is going to form. Team sagged after he let in that stinky 2nd goal yesterday, and he ruined any chance of a comeback with the juicy rebound he gave up on the 4th.

As for Gryba, I don't disagree that it was a legal hit, but for better or worse it's a hit that the league seems to want out of the game. I think he'll get suspended not because he deserves to be, but because it's easy to. He's an inconsequential player; a 6th d-man. Doesn't matter if he plays or not.

Also, the Habs have lost a key cog in Eller. He had been the Habs top forward the last couple of weeks. An important Senator needs to go down. I would be bashing the shit out of Karlsson today, particularly if the game is no longer close, in whichever direction. If they can catch him that is...

^ I was going to add,"but it appears that it will be going on a lot anyways!",but felt that was bad form.

A couple of the talking heads commented on it last night; this series could be a carbon copy of Habs/Caps and Habs/Pens from 2010. Except, this time the Habs are the ones dominating the play and getting shut down by an unconscious goalie.

I suspect Subban's hips will be getting quite familiar with someone form the Sens tonight.

I get how the NHL wants this type of hit out of the game. However,if Gryba lets up,and Eller not only get the puck, but gets by him as well,it's a 2 on 1 up ice and Gryba is on the next flight to Binghampton. It's just unfortunate all the way around.

The Blues defense is better this year, and the Kings D got worse.....I think that's the difference. Kings really miss Mitchell and Greene.

Oh and I completely agree with alecjonsludge. No way should it be suspension. Hope Ottawa rout the Habs 4-0.

Rumor the B's will be playing at Gillette Stadium. Bob Kraft met with Bettman in Boston the other day. Hopefully it will be against the Habs. That would be a great scene with the tailgaiting.

Habs are taking over game 2.

Nope.

Gutsy effort by the undermanned Habs. Also, Price stepped up big time.

Nice to see the Isles make the 1 vs 8 matchup a series as well. Took Moulson in the last round pf my pool!
