The refs have become very visible with repay and mics, and we've gotten very used to them. I'm sure I'm not the only one who had a "who the fuck are these guys?" feeling when watching the preseason game.
You sit down and watch the exhibition games???

Come on...RG3, the Skins' savoir, was taking his first snaps last night. So yes, I did sit down, find a pirated feed online, and watch the first 20 minutes. And it was awesome.

Yeah, I watch Vikes preseason too, why wouldn't I?

I like picking an undrafted free agent to cheer for and seeing if he can make the team.

He's a son of a bitch. Cost the Colts numerous important games. Fuck him, and as a matter of fact fuck all the refs. None of them are any good anyway, so how much worse can the replacement refs be? I don't think they could possibly make more terrible calls than the regular refs do. Might even be an improvement, who knows.

DAVIE, Fla. -- Miami Dolphins receiver Chad Johnson was arrested Saturday night on a domestic violence charge, accused of head-butting his newlywed wife during an argument in front of their home outside Miami, Davie police Capt. Dale Engle said.

Lozada, who is on the reality show "Basketball Wives," was treated at a hospital for a cut to her forehead, Engle said.

The 34-year-old Johnson, who changed his last name back to Johnson from Ochocinco after his July 4 wedding to Lozada, was being held Saturday night in Broward County Jail where he will remain until he can appear before a judge, which Engle says might not be until Monday. He is charged with simple battery, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

How bout that Andrew Luck!!!!! First NFL pass = touchdown! I had chills down my spine as I recalled watching Peyton's first play of his career which also resulted in a TD. We have truly come full circle as an organization. What a way to start out this new era of Colts football. I couldn't be any more excited for what's to come. I know it's preseason, but man, Luck looked great. This guy is gonna be a superstar, a legend.

Chad Johnson released by Dolphins after arrest

The Miami Dolphins have released wide receiver Chad Johnson a day after the wide receiver was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor domestic battery, Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reported on Twitter.

The Miami Dolphins have just released Chad Johnson, scouts cleaned out his locker

Johnson posted $2,500 bond Sunday and was released from jail after his wife, reality TV star Evelyn Lozada, accused him of head-butting her during an argument in front of their home. The dispute simmered after Lozada found a receipt for a box of condoms, The Associated Press reported.

Earlier Sunday, Philbin said he hadn’t yet spoken or met with Johnson.

“We’re going to deal with this at the appropriate time,” Philbin said. “We’re not going to waste time. … We’re all in this thing together. Everybody that sets foot in this building, we’re all held to a high standard.”

Philbin had warned Johnson a couple of days earlier about his behavior after Johnson liberally used profanity during an interview opportunity with reporters.

The Dolphins signed Johnson in June. He was trying to make the team after a highly disappointing season with the New England Patriots last year.

How did Johnson suddenly start to suck so fast?

Premier receivers routinely play well into their late 30s, and this dude was washed up at 33?

I'm sure he'll catch on somewhere.

I don't hate him, really. His "I'd lick Christ's Taint" act isn't even close to the most obnoxious I've ever seen in the NFL - that title remains securely on Kurt Warner's resume and will likely never be relinquished. For a religious freak he actually stows that shit most of the time. And if I hated every moron who does a skypoint/tebow every time he scores on the field I wouldn't be able to watch the NFL.

But Tebowtards like Lahahahaharocker and retardfromthegrave are some of the creepiest NFL fans in history, and Tebow's throwing mechanics make Babe Laufenberg look like YA Tittle. The whole circus is getting stale and I wish he'd just become a running back or disappear already.
Because of Tebow's annoying holy roller bullshit I won't be watching the Jets or any football this year.

I also find it funny they have no problem cheering for a wife beater or a rapist, but a christian? Who never ever speaks an ill word about anybody and busts his ass to get better? Oh no, we can't have it.

I'm no Tebow lover, but i wouldn't stop cheering for my team because he was on it. ridiculous.

He's a horrible quarterback, but I've never once heard the guy preach. Doesn't preaching involve some kind of direction or instruction? I've only heard him thank Jesus, not preach.

And everytime they praise him, he mentions his teammates.

Tebow himself isn't really obnoxious at all, but his fanclub sure is. He's got intriguing intangibles but he's just a hardworking guy that really isn't all that good. The backlash is predictable. Over hype always begets contempt.

I don't really care about him one way or the other. I'm sick of hearing about him, but I'm not really rooting for or against him. If it wasn't for the hype, I'd probably find the guy 's character and work ethic admirable.

He and his mother did a commercial for Focus on the Family which is enough to make me sick. James Dobson who runs that organization is also wanting to infringe on the rights of other people. He was also on the Meese Commission. What else annoys me about Tebow is his constant display of praying which is fucking annoying.
