Lions sign Reggie Bush.

This guy is a bum.
He's made millions of dollars and done nothing on the field to
justify the money earned.

I knew the kid would not reach the very high level of expectations that
Mel Kiper Jr. and the other experts were claiming after Reggie played
his final game at USC

Is there another RB in free agency or in the draft that is close to guarantied to be better? Bush came relatively cheap compared to what getting a top corner would cost, when they have the option to get one in the draft.

The name Reggie Bush may not strike fear in Defensive coaches hearts, but it is enough to make them think twice about daring the Lions to throw the ball.

I'm not going to go all mark my words on this, but the move (along with the signing of Quin and presumably a Corner in the first or 2nd round of the draft should put them in the playoff picture.

Reggie Bush would have been a perfect fit for the greatest show on turf. If the Lions can figure out how to use him as a receiver out of the backfield he could be worth that money.

Agree on that point during the Saints superbowl year he was finally looking like a good back, Brees took advantage of what the defense was giving him by being able to make a quick pass to bush.

I get that, Alfred Morris was a 6th round pick last year. But the Lions have not exactly had any luck with drafting RB's recently. He is a safe choice and it's a gamble, I get that. He may end up a big bust, but I don't see it as anymore of a risk then signing Alex Smith.

NFL free agent Donte Stallworth was hospitalized Saturday with serious burns after the hot air balloon carrying him and two other people crashed into power lines above South Florida, his agent said.

The 10-year NFL veteran won't suffer any permanent damage from the accident in Homestead, said Drew Rosenhaus, Stallworth's agent.

''He's going to be OK. He has some burns, but he's going to be fine,'' Rosenhaus said. ''He will be able to continue his NFL career. The injuries are not to the extent they will jeopardize his career.''
