I would have loved Forlan to score that last minute free kick, they deserved to win.

I feel a little sad for you guys. Having a club team to follow through the season is what's best about football. And not in the shitty MLS, or any of the American leagues. And that's not because of the standard. It's the overall "feel". North America and club football doesn't mix, with it's "franchises","salary caps", "trades" and "drafts". No one should care if you went to college or not if you can kick a ball 60 yards and land it on a sixpence. Small crowds in large, empty stadia. Playing matches during the summer. No promotion or relegation. The list is endless.MurrayFiend wrote:Uh, yeah. That's my approach.UtahRatt wrote:MurrayFiend wrote:See you in 2014.

England's awesome showing in the world cup has them rising 1 place in the world rankings to 7th. Italy are now 11th with Egypt 9th.

Gabon are ranked higher than Sweden and Ireland
Those rankings are comical but I guess there needs to be some sort of grading. There doesn't seem to be any weighting in the point scoring though.
