The backlash against that guy puzzles me. How has Tebow ever preached? Has he ever told anyone how to live?
He and his mother did a commercial for Focus on the Family which is enough to make me sick. James Dobson who runs that organization is also wanting to infringe on the rights of other people. He was also on the Meese Commission. What else annoys me about Tebow is his constant display of praying which is fucking annoying.
Antonio Cromartie has fathered 10 children by 8 different women. Including 3 that are the same age. He also didn't show up for court after not paying support.

Zombie has his priorities in order.

We have truly come full circle as an organization. What a way to start out this new era of Colts football. I couldn't be any more excited for what's to come. I know it's preseason, but man, Luck looked great. This guy is gonna be a superstar, a legend.
Annointing him as "legend" and "superstar" is a bit premature, but Luck did look very good.
His arm is stonger than I expected.
Everybody needs to slow down just a bit on how well A. Luck played
yesterday
1)this is the exhibition season
2)the td pass was a middle screen. thrown about 6 yards. a glorified
shovel pass.
very premature to describe the #1 pick as a star or a legend that will
be talked about for years.

I'm as pro choice a Catholic as you can be, but that commercial just had his mother saying I chose to have this goodie two shoe, if you're ever in the situation consider it too.

You're right about Dobson being a dick.

The mega libs at my super bowl party were all pretty disappointed in how tame that ad was.

Probably a good thing. Looks like he won't miss more than a week or two, if that.

Lacerated spleen
No surgery required.
The hit he took from the raiders defender appeared to be the average hit
any offensive player would absorb after catching a ball.
Guess not
Witten is questionable for the season opener vs Giants.

Only in Madden. And only if you play it at Rookie-level with the turnovers shut off.

Let's go Niners! Defense is stacked again and offense is loaded...LaMichael James as the number 3 back behind Gore and Brandon Jocobs???? Randy Moss and Crabtree at WR with Vernon Davis at TE??? Alex Smith will continue to get better and Kapernick (sp?) is a solid #2. Crazy depth in San Francisco.

Holy fuck, the Saints game last night was a joke. Did anybody else see how awful the officiating was? I'm not really butthurt about the Saints losing cuz there were horrible calls that went both ways. But goddamn, a blind billygoat could've called a better game than those refs did. It seemed like every play that was a close call went the wrong way even after examining it "under further review".

The announcers were fucking LAUGHING at the refs! Tim Brando was just off-handedly bashing them left and right. He said "You know I don't mean to pile on here..." and then he would say shit like "What we REALLY need to know is when the REAL officials will be able to get back on the job...".

Man, if the lockout lasts all year, this is going to be some frustrating shit to watch.

More than anyone Vegas needs the real refs back. The lines are impossible to set right now.

I was just thinking that. For those compulsive types, it won't matter. But John Q gambler is not going to want to risk it. Especially after getting burned in week one.

Can you ask Shanahan to keep Brian Orakpo out there the entire first half for me? Jamarcus Webb needs as much work as possible out there. Why draft or sign a decent left tackle for the last three years. Having Cutler always on his back is the equivalent of putting four bald tires on a Jaguar.

Sorry man. I have no pull there.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Kerrigan and ORakpo out there the whole first half though.

Love RG3's game. You have a franchise QB Levi.

Loved what the Bears first string offense looked like.

There really is no qb controversy for the new York jets - though I have a feeling well be learning the name of the 3rd stringer soon.

What a showing for Luck today against a tough defense. In fact, the game couldn't have gone any better for him. People will say, "but he had a pick six and another interception." The second pick was a perfect pass that was bobbled and then picked. The pick six was absolutely all on Luck and he knew it. But those types of things will happen, especially against a tough defense like the Steelers. What matters is how you react to them. Luck brushed it off like a veteran and didn't let it faze him. He came back and led two touchdown drives, and looked stellar for the rest of the time he played. He even led a sharp one minute hurry up drive, leading the team to a last second field goal. You like to see Luck make some mistakes early so he can learn from them, and more importantly see how he will react and bounce back from them. In that respect, I couldn't be happier with this game. Again, it's only preseason, but any Colts fan has to be excited about the future of this team with Luck playing QB.
