Boston is too deep and playing with confidence since the Leafs woke them up.

Of course, as I type this, the Hawks just made it 3-2...
My thoughts as well.

These are two, good, tough, talented teams. I can see the entire series being close. Amazing to watch if you don't have a rooting interest. Agony and ecstacy if you are a fan of either team.

My team won and I can tell you it was mostly agony. My brother in law said they cut off beer sales mid 3rd period. Let's talk serious agony.

My brother in law said they did not open concessions again once the first OT started. Couldn't imagine sitting there stroking out without beer.

No excuse for blowing a two goal lead twice.
Great game, though.

A week after being knocked out,Shittsburgh are STILL crying like a bunch of pussies.

"Zdeno Chara punched Sidney Crosby in jaw
Penguins claim footage came from Game 1 of East final
By QMI Agency

The Pittsburgh Penguins provided TSN with footage of Boston Bruins defenceman Zdeno Chara (right) punching Sidney Crosby in the jaw. (YouTube)

Game 1 of the NHL Eastern Conference final featured Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby jawing with Boston Bruins captain Zdeno Chara.

Now we know why.

During a scrum in the dying seconds of the second period, Chara apparently delivered a blow square to Crosby’s injured jaw while the Penguins star was being held by Bruins centre Patrice Bergeron.

The Penguins provided TSN with footage of Chara punching Crosby, claiming it to be from the game.

Asked about the punch and shown the footage by TSN, Chara denied the incident, emphasizing he wasn’t penalized on the play.

The clip wasn’t played during TV broadcasts of the game, but Crosby and the Penguins were clearly irate after the scrum. Once the horn sounded, Crosby had words with Chara and Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask, while teammate Evgeni Malkin fought Bergeron.

Crosby missed the last 12 games of the lockout-shortened season and Pittsburgh’s first playoff game with a broken jaw after taking a puck to the face March 30 against the New York Islanders. He wore a protective shield around his jaw for the majority of the playoffs before removing it for the East final."
