Being a fan of a half-century of failure NFL team must be playing a role in Truther's unfortunate mental breakdown. It's sad to see it happen to one of our own, but I'll take it as a cautionary tale:

Don't root for the Vikings.

This piece of shit is putting my name in thread titles, typing fat jokes and telling me to get off his dick. In his usually long winded fashion. All this while calling me crazy. And he voted for Obama twice.

Redskins looking good in their preseason game.

Well, Kirk Cousins anyway. Very keen on having two excellent QBs, we are gonna need 'em.

How did your teams fare in meaningless preseason play?

I already like the direction the Browns are headed with Ray Horton's 3-4 defense and Norv Turner calling the offense. Next step? Bringing in the right personnel. I think this team could realistically be a 6-7 win team, which would have them actually playing meaningful games in December. Something that hasn't happened in Cleveland since 2007. A lot of it hinges on Weeden and I'm still not sold on a 30 year old 2nd year man. Seems to have the skill set, but is he clutch? Seems very Romoesque in that category to me thus far.

Green Bay will have another stellar year, with or without Nelson. Randall Cobb has proven he is a very special player. My concern is the o-line, with Bulaga out for the season and Rodgers already being sacked more than any QB in the last 2-3 years they need to all be on the same page and not fuck up assignments.

Also the defense should be improved, a few young guys last year should continue to grow and with Nick Perry not injured Clay Matthews might not always be double teamed.

Also, let's get rid of Crosby.

My guess is Rodgers is more worried than you. He may die this year with that line.

Green Bay is screwed this season.

Same old shitty defense, piss poor line, no Jennings or Nelson and of course no running game.

My boy Tebow looked great Friday night!

Kent Babb @kentbabb

In the Pats locker room, a camera guy has a mishap and yells, "Jesus Christ!" Tebow, in earshot, looks at the guy and says: "He loves you."

Brady left the practice field today with an apparent left leg injury that was not caused by contact.

Edit: Brady went down, came out for one play, came back in for three more plays and then left and has not returned.
Video has surfaced that a player was pushed back and rolled up on the left leg.

Edit - M.R.I. negative and he's listed as day to day.
Guess they'll have to put on hold following in the COLTS!!! footsteps when they pulled the Suck For Luck and there will be no Blow With Tebow to get that #1 pick.

That goes for all the NFL teams that have a "marquee" QB. Does not make
NE any different.

I disagree to the extent that NE is already fucked up with the receiving corps. You put the ball in the hands of Mallett or Tebow, those new guys will look lost. They look decent now, but without Brady's arm, decision making and ability to help these guys, we are fucked more than most.

I read in the "News Of The World" that if Brady is all right than Tebow will become known as "Touchdown Timmy Tebow The Terrific Tight End Who Can Rival Notre Dame's Touchdown Jesus And Vanquish The Evil Aaron Hernandez From The Mind Of New England Fans".

Hey Frink-

I went to the Bears Preseason game tonight. I know preseason sucks but what the hell.

Bears looked ok. Of course they have no backup QB so once Cutler gets hurt you are screwed again. Chargers looked awful.

That stadium of yours if fucking bizarre. Looks like an ugly glass spaceship crashed on top of an old college stadium. But hey I guess you had to cram that wall of luxury suites in there somewhere.

You should have seen that shit hole before the remodel. The facilities were so lacking you couldn't take a piss at halftime and be back to your seat by the 3rd quarter kickoff.

Howie Longs kid is going to work and that Bostic will replace Urlacher just fine.

Hester focusing on kicks only is the way to go.

Forte's 58 yard run was beautiful.

Browns offense looked like an efficient machine for the second week in a row. It's preseason, this must be a mirage. I figured Weeden would've lost his job to Campbell by now. Wake me up when it's late September and let me know if the offense is still going down the field at will.

Darrius Heyward-Bey who was a washout in Oakland due to dropped passes is now attempting to become a washout for lil pp's team.

Here he is showing that he's already in regular season form.

We can't keep our guards healthy and Dion Lewis may be done for the year, if not, at least until November. Browns starters looked really good in all phases but those injuries sting.

The injury bug is already kicking in.

I'm watching the Giants and Colts now. Man, is there anything worse than preseason football if it's not "your" team. I mean, I haven't missed a Browns game since before Kosar (I'm counting radio, this whole directtv thing is still relatively new so when the Browns weren't on local tv back in the day I'd just listen to radio. And I've done that for NFLN games since NFLN came out) so I want to see what kind of depth the team has, who is going to be the starting QB, etc. But watching that drama on other teams??? Pffffttt. Could be good for Fantasy Football purposes though I suppose.
