B) He sounds like he's trying to impersonate Mr. Perfect's old ringside commentary but comes off as bad as whenever anyone does an unfunny Seinfeld impersonation.

I guess a lot of the XPW guys worked at Rob Black's porn company too?

Now I think some of them work for Big Vision who does a lot of wrestling DVDs.

I thought the banter between Kloss and Riveira was good on the XPW dvd's that I own. No JR and King, obviously but still funny.

Just read that D'Lo Brown and Val Venis were both let go from the WWE. D'Lo I can understand, but Val was a shocker. He should have been with the company till the day he dies. Guess Vinnie Mac doesn't believe in loyalty unless you are a out of shape, shitty worker way past their prime (*coughUndertakercough*).

It all comes down to money. But I'm honestly shocked that they've kept Val this long.

You never know, they might've forgotten he was still on the payroll and "fixed the glitch" to put it in Office Space terms.

I hope Jeff and Beth are OK after the car accident on Smackdown! Anyone other than Christian behind this would be a letdown.

I had heard they were gonna bring D-lo back as an Obama type character.
Releases thus far:

Wrestlers:
D'Lo Brown
Bam Neely
Val Venis
Kevin Thorn

Refs:
Keenan Quinn
Mike Posey
Jimmy Korderas
Tim White

So they actually went through with it? Good... hopefully that does mean Christian is really coming back.

I can understand. I was there as well. My friends were in a line for either Stone Cold or the nWo and Jazz took over. I did get HBK and DDP.

So with Val and D-Lo gone, that leaves the last links to the Attitude era on the active roster at: Taker, The H, Shawn, JBL, Kane, Jericho, and Goldust...

Am I missing anyone?

I'm thinking D-Lo became expendable when they brought back Goldust. He's a bigger name and more over and more valuable as a JTTS with a link to the Attitude era.

Thorn had a lot of potential but was still very sloppy at times.

Neely was a waste of space.

I'm assuming they're making all these cuts to free up some salary space to bring back Snitsky...

Like Stone Cold should replace Hogan. The Rock for the NWO, have it be equal. Jazz? that was some bullshit. Fun time though. The HBK pic was like a polaroid for $10 Canadian for charity so that was cool.

I might go to WM25 in Houston. My back up if I can't go is Lockdown in Philly. Not exactly equal but I wanna meet Sting at Fan Fest

The Hall of Fame section of WWE.com is promoting "Stone Cold" Steve Austin as the first inductee into the 2009 WWE Hall of Fame with the title: "HALL (yes, spell HALL instead of HELL) YEAH, HE'S IN: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin leads the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2009."

The graphic can be viewed at this link:http://www.wwe.com/superstars/halloffame/

There is speculation that with many of the layoffs taking place today within WWE that a possible disgruntled former employee may have gone into business for themselves and added the graphic before the company had wanted to make the announcement. Of course, there was speculation of an Austin induction with WrestleMania 25 taking place in Houston this year. Either way, the graphic and announcement is up for now. It is possible the company didn't have any plans to induct Austin this year and it was simply a stunt by someone with access to WWE.com that may be on the outs. No official announcement was made on the main page of the website or the "WWE News" area furthering this speculation.

Update: WWE.com has removed the graphic as of this evening.

Yup , I was also at Mania 20 for Benoit's win that was a loud crowd as well. The crowd was nuts though for Hogan and The Rock.

On a completely unrelated note, I am watching some old XPW DVDs. I know Garbageman doesn't like him but on this Genocide PPv DVD, Kris Kloss is hysterical. He keeps goin off on some group called "The So-Cal Jobbers Union" and just busted out a Breakin 2 Electric Boogaloo reference. Here is a sample of his work:

Stop putting Kloss over! That guy is just annoying. But Pat is an old drinking buddy on the town and cool in my book... though that Scarface impersonation he did for that announcing can wear thin. He had a wrestling themed punk band in the mid-90's called Foreign Object. They all wore Lucha masks and had a title defense involving the lead singer and another wrestler bashing each other with chairs on the floors in front of the stages at various Hollywood dives. Pat was their bassist known as "Scarface the Womanizer." The singer, Captain Anarchy, was a guy who did some WWF jobber stuff named Stephen DeLeon. Pat was also announcing for the L.A. Derby Dolls banked track roller league a couple years ago at their live events.

So I just read TNA was giving away tickets by the ton for tomorrow's PPV in Charlotte. I have to paraphrase Spinal Tap's manager Ian and say "I wouldn't worry about it, Charlotte's not a big wrestling town!"

You didn't miss much. The show was centered around The H while the current WWE champion and # 1 contender were reduced to cameo roles.

We will agree to disagree about Kris Kloss! I heard TNA sold about 6,000 and are just giving away the cheap seats up top or in the back. Either way this looks to be the biggest crowd ever for TNA.

So the REAL question is... When is Snitsky going to be on Monday Night Mayhem?

If you don't mind... I've already taken the liberty of preparing some questions:

1. With the passing of Chris Benoit and the in-ring demise of Kurt Angle, how much pressure do you feel in being the greatest technical performance in the industry today?

2. Despite being more over than Jeff Hardy, are you upset that you were never given a chance to hold the belt?

3. How did you feel about your tag-team with Tyson Tomko being compared to such legendary teams as the Road Warriors, the Midnight Express, and Power and Glory?

4. Are you angry with Ric Flair for using a time machine to travel into the future and stealing your gimmick?

5. Seriously... how good are Trish, Maria, and Stacey Kiebler in the sack?

6. Your 2006 match on RAW vs. Val Venis has been compared to Ricky Steamboat and Randy Savage's match at Wrestlemania 3. Honestly, did you guys know you were doing something special in the ring that night?

I am sure Snitsky will be on , we had Braden Walker on last week, that was OK. Having Hogan on was cool. We have Juvi (the Juice) doing a bi-weekly segment called The Juice Bar. I hope you guys will check it out. We give away a ton of free stuff. Not that I would "fix" contests but who knows, maybe a Sludger will win something soon.

Hopefully this doesn't suck also. Also Kevin Nash is in the hospital with a Staph infection and Rhyno is missing.
