I was just saying they were supposed to be hot shit this year according to the media. Either way, I don't give a fuck. The Chiefs are undefeated. The Eagles aren't.demolition23 wrote:All of a sudden?Peterbilt wrote: The Eagles are a terrible team now all of a sudden?
They were 8-8 in 2011, 4-12 last year, and this year they'd beaten a disappointing Redskins team and lost to the Chargers.
So no, not 'all of a sudden'.

Von Miller tried and failed to cheat his urine test that led to his 4 game suspension and explains why it was mysteriously increased to 6 games and quite possibly could have been a year.

I really wish I hadn't paid for the NFL ticket this season. I don't really want to watch the Vikngs anymore. For the first time since I can remember.

Re: The NFL Thread
Solid win for Dallas today.
Romo thre 3 TD's with zoer Int's and Murray had his first 100 yard rushing game since game 1 of last season
6 Sacks by the defense. Led by Ware with 2.
Next game at Chargers

The Browns can't even tank correctly.

Re: The NFL Thread
It was looking like a rough day with United getting spanked by City and Miami down at half time. I forgot about the second half until just now and looked it up on NFL.com, and to my surprise saw a Dolphins victory.

Cleveland is such a shitty team then trade a one of their better players in Trent Richardson.............And they STILL BEAT THE MIGHTY VIKINGS and the unstoppable Adrian Peterson!
This is what a Viking fan would say...Well we lost again....BUT DID YOU SEE AP? MAN HE"S AWESOME! AP ran for a mile, caught a bunch anddddddddd scored a TD! We might finish 4-12 but AP should 2get 3,000 rushing and 30TD's. I wouldn't be surprised if they just put Adrian Peterson in the HOF this year while he's will playing!

You should stop posting about the NFL, you have no clue what you speak of. And you obviously didn't watch that game.
And most Viking fans don't even call him AP. his nickname is AD. And he didn't do shit yesterday.

Looks like he had butterfingers, but to say someone with 88 yards rushing, 115 total from scrimmage and a TD "didn't do shit" is just silly. Not every day is 180 rushing.NeverSurrender wrote: And most Viking fans don't even call him AP. his nickname is AD. And he didn't do shit yesterday.

But you're missing the point anyways.
Sure didn't run for a mile, and that doesn't make Utahratt's post any less ridiculous. No Viking fan is saying what he said they are saying.
All I hear is them bitching about Frazier, Musgrave, Ponder and that shitty defense. Dumb fucking post. Simple as that.

Re: The NFL Thread
I thought Cleveland was trying to suck, it's way too early for them to start winning games.
I bet the 49er's are starting to wonder how many draft picks they have to give up to get Alex Smith back?
How many more games before Cousins starts?
What, the Panthers won! And Green Bay got beat by the Bengals!
Finally the Calvin Johnson rule was applied to someone other than Calvin Johnson. Speaking of which...
If someone would have predicted that the Lion's would be 2nd in the NFC North after three weeks, even I would have thought they were a moron. A home game against the bears with Reggie Bush back next week it's not completely out of the realm of possibility that they could be in 1st place.

I'm not shocked. Gay Bay was due for a letdown, and their o-line sucks and their defense hasn't been good for years. I didn't think they would win the division and I still don't think they will.sin wrote: If someone would have predicted that the Lion's would be 2nd in the NFC North after three weeks, even I would have thought they were a moron.

I was thinking the same thing before yesterday but RG3 had a pretty good game against the Lions. He made one horrible mistake but I bet he's FINALLY learned how to slide and it isn't by making a bellyflop. He's clearly getting better every game.sin wrote: How many more games before Cousins starts?
He had a beautiful 57-yard bomb dropped at the last second (it was called a TD) that might have won the game. When they overturned that TD I knew the game was over.
It was a beautiful day at the stadium, as good as it gets for outdoor football. Had free tickets and scammed into the club as usual so enjoyed the game from the $600 seats on the 50 yard line.
Very disheartening to be 0-3 as a few others around here can identify with, but I'm not ready to give up on the season.
RG3 isn't the problem, the defense is atrocious. I guess I knew it would be that way coming in but I guess I was still thinking the Skins would be outscoring people. But as far as I'm concerned that division is still wide open.
As far as the 0-3 teams go, who has the best shot to go 0-16?
I'm thinking the Steelers and the Jags.

I wouldn't go that far. But Kaepernick has no threat of losing his job to Colt McCoy or BJ Daniels. If he played last year like he did the past two games, he would have lost the starting job to Alex Smith. Maybe Kaepernick needs that fire under his ass. I just hope Harbaugh hasn't lost the team, after the blow up with Frank Gore on Sunday, who knows.

Of all the teams in the North to look like they will win it, it has to be the Bears. I would rather have the Vikings win and you talk trash about the Lions for 2 pages of this thread then have the Bears win the Division.

old RGIII during the game.
Then again, he still has a long way to go before he is 100%
I think the non-slide/fumble was a perfect example. With a healthy knee he slides with no problem and never fumbles.
Either take off the knee brace or step aside and let someone else take the snaps until fully healed.

Good to see the three other NFCE teams lose. As well as the Niners, Pack and Stealers.

Re: The NFL Thread
My beloved Bengals win one of the craziest games I've ever seen. The Bengals usually lose games like that.
1st time in NFL history a team led by 14(scored 12 seconds apart), trailed by 16 and then wound up winning.
Aaron Rodgers threw 2 picks in a regular season for the 1st time since Oct 24th, 2010, 41 games.
Each team scored a defensive TD.
Bengals had 4 turnovers in a 9 play span . . . and were still winning 14-13 when they got the ball back. The Bengals also had a few other fumbles, two were recovered by team mates, another was juuuuuust after forward progress was called/determined on the first drive of the game.
Rodgers 26-43 - 244 yds - 2 TDs - 2 INTs - sacked 4 times
Dalton 20-28 - 235 yds - 2 TDs - 1 INT - sacked 4 times - 1 fumble
Fuck Scam Newton, Collin Kutaendrunick and RG 0-III . . . the only QB taken the last two years I'd take over Dalton is Dumb Luck.
