Yeah, to be fair Liverpool did decent to bullshit them down to 7 mil if there are no addons or extras added. But how many central midfielders does Kenny need? And he has better ones than Adam. I know Meireles might be leaving, but he's better than Adam. I wonder if Stevie Me will be pushed out wide this season, as I'd be surprised if Kenny plays only one up top in most games. Not with both Suarez and Carroll in his squad.

No loss really, those 3. O'Shite is a decent utility man but Brown is way down the pecking order and Gibbo isn't good enough, even for cover. United have better prospects in the Academy, as long as they progress well.

Sign a quality midfielder and the squad will be looking quite sharp for next season. A lot of old heads and crocks retired/gone, some deadwood sold and new blood desperate to impress.

Yeah its looking promising. Just crying out for a central midfielder. Nasri, Sneijder and Modric are the names that keep coming up. If Modric leaves Tottenham it looks like it will be Chelsea. According to BBC United have put in an offer for roughly 20 million for Nasri. Fingers crossed one of these players comes in.

Just watched the first half of the Chicago game. Midfield just can't hold the ball, it better improve til the season starts. Obertan is quick, too bad his touch is poor. Noone to lead at midfield. Not too impressed on Jones, is he a little short for CD? De Gea's been alright.

It improved on the second half with Nani, Rio etc. Macheda was pretty good too.

Cleverly was poor in the midfield against Chicago, but United improved when Giggs and Anderson came on. Jones had an iffy debut, but did alright by the end of his run out. Very early days yet. Machedas all round game seems to have improved since he last got games for United. I thought Welbeck did alright too.

He's an alright player, but otherwise a total cunt. Hard to say if he could step up his game for a bigger team.
