In week one. That blowhard douche Jon Gruden was all over Kelly's cock saying that this "offense" will change the League.. Hahhahhaha.. yep, so was Steve Spurrier's "offense".. And, that failed as well.

That's where I first heard it..
Yeah I was making fun of that shit too but was forced to STFU when the Eagles trounced the Skins.

History has shown that had more to do with the Skins' atrocious defense than the genius of Chip Kelly.

Levi, I would tend to agree with you except that you could reverse that and say that the Birds' 2-3 start is due to THEIR atrocious defense. I think the offense has set some kind of record for average yardage to start the year.

This may be true but it's way too early to tell if that kind of offense is sustainable or just 2013's "read option."

NFL history is littered with teams whose uptempo offense put points on the board - but also put a winded defense who couldn't stop anybody on the field season after season. I'm thinking the 70s Chargers and 90s "run and shoot" teams like the Falcons and the Oilers.

Raiders release "Matt Flynn"

Guess he wasn't worth paying 14 million over 3 years as a demoted 3rd string back up behind an undrafted rookie. The media in Wisconsin went Flynn crazy but the Packers said on Monday they have no interest in bringing Matt Flynn back in favor of Seneca Wallace.

I always thought Seneca Wallace would have been a decent QB. Nope.

He's such an asshole.

How can a sitting President spare the approximately 45 seconds that it would take to come up with an opinion on this issue, without neglecting his other leadership duties?

I loved being at Buddy Ryan's last game - a humiliating upset playoff loss to the Redskins at the Vet where mighty and feared Randall C was pulled at one point for Jim McMahon.

People behind us kept yelling at us to sit down, and saying they were going to slash our tires. I elbowed my dad all concerned and he said "How do they know which car is ours?"

Good point.

Well, then you'll like this.

At one point toward the end of the game, where it was clear the Skins were going to win, I was standing on a landing overlooking the field after a bathroom break and I must have mumbled something like "Go Redskins!"

I hear a loud booming voice say "FUCK THE REDSKINS."

I turn around and there is a huge black cop staring at me angrily.

I'm 15 by the way.

I also remember watching a gigantic styro cup of beer sail from the 700s way down to the lower deck. I guess they just did that kind of shit at the vet to kill time?

And for some fucking reason, Jack Kent Cooke decided to open the window of his box and wave happily to the crowd. A bunch of hot dogs and other detritus started sailing in his direction while a lackey hastily closed the windows to the suite.

All in all it was a fun day - first pro football game I ever went to.

I saw so much shit go down in the 700 level. It was like its own third world country.

One Monday night game against the Cowboys the Eagles decided to do a fan survey..handing out sharpened number 2 pencils. There were a couple of morons wearing Dallas jerseys walking around talking shit. Suddenly it was like a scene from a western where a thousand arrows are flying at the cavalry. Later that game a drunk Eagles fan tried to throw a Dallas guy over the railing. He had him halfway over before security got there. There was always a green haze from the dirt weed that these idiots always smoked and if there wasn't some combination of blood or vomit on the steps to the bathroom by halftime it was unusual.

I was also at the infamous Monday night game where at the end of a 38-0 loss some idiot shot a flare gun across the field. We thought the stadium under attack.

We bought these tickets as part of some locally (DC area) sold promotion - two tickets and a night at the Cherry Hill Hilton. It was cheap and a good deal.

Now, whomever put this fucking package together decided to buy an whole row of tickets, instead of a block. So naturally, you had a single row of Skins fans surrounded by drunk and increasingly disappointed and angry Eagles fans.

That being said nobody really caught any shit except for the aforementioned veiled threats. And at the end of the game I even got some "good lucks" from the grumpy Iggles fans behind us.

I finally returned to Philly for a game toward the end of last season. I know the Eagles were winding down a disappointing season (It was Andy Reid's last home game) but I was shocked by how incredibly tame the place was compared to years earlier at the Vet, especially for visiting Skins fans in full Skins drag.

Police called after Texans fan harasses Matt Schaub at home.

Texans fans are reportedly harrassing quarterback Matt Schaub. Texans fans are reportedly harassing quarterback Matt Schaub.

Matt Schaub has been catching heat in and around Houston for his play on the field with the Texans lately. But if the latest report is true, Houstonians need to get a hold of themselves.

According to CBS Houston, Texans fans accosted Schaub at his home on Tuesday evening and "berated him for his poor play."

"A fan went to his house and told him off," a law enforcement source told CBS Houston.

Additionally the source told CBS Houston that another person "took pictures of his family." Thankfully those pictures weren't -- according to the report -- posted on Facebook or any social networks. According to the report it's believed that the fans "left on their own accord" and that "no arrests were made."

Oakland fans force visiting fans up to the 300 level. "IF YOU'RE GONNA CHEER, TAKE THAT SHIT TO THE 300!".
The older couple next me rooting for Jacksonville stopped cheering by the 1st and ended up leaving for the 300 by halftime giving up great seats they flew across the country for.

It was no different for me in Denver, I got shit at the old Mile High for wearing a Raider hat but at that time I was pretty big and surrounded by a lot of friends who are Bronco fans.

In Seattle at the KingDome: Seahawk fans totally plastered the Denver Bronco fans/couple next to me then they got pushed and shoved all the way out, the female was wearing an orange afro, that got ripped off her head as she was drenched in soda. The chick had a mouth but it finally clicked it was coming close to a gang stomp so her/husband took off running.

I've seen Baseball in several stadiums and never had or witnessed a problem apart from poking fun.

While these stories are awesome to read..

It just shows what kind of fucking moron someone is to actually behave this way towards an opposing fan at a game. Grow the fuck up. It's a game. That is it.. Making folks leave the seats they paid for? Spilling shit on some stranger because they like a different team. You gotta be kidding me.

Been going on for years, only to get worse. Cause of stupid fuckheads, security will get tighter, more rules.

Saints - Falcons

I forget the year... '03 or '04, either way, Vick was lighting up the NFL and the Saints sucked that year (as was typical up until '06, with the exception of a few Dome Patrol years).

I'm at the Georgia Dome with a buddy of mine, only shot to catch a Saints game that year for logistical reasons, and we're both in Saints gear. About 5 rows down from us is a Saints fan, somewhere between 9 and 12 years old, and his elderly grandmother. (I found out later that they bought tickets from scalpers and were separated from the rest of the entourage, why a grown man didn't sit with the boy is still a mystery.)

Anyway, Saints score and the boy jumps up to cheer; he is immediately verbally accosted by a few drunken Falcon fans sitting around him. My buddy and I don't like it. We call the drunks out on their actions, they begin to threaten us with such things as "I'll fucking stab you" and other rather unpleasant things while security takes their sweet ass time getting to the scene.

What happens when security arrives?

Me, my friend, the little boy, and his grandmother get tossed from the stadium.

Big game this weekend. Aren't they all big games???

Battle for 1st place. I'm very anxious to see how Dallas responds to the loss last week vs Denver.
Curious to see how RG 1-3 moves around after the bye week. Is he the same player or does he resemble the 2012 RGIII???

I always feel justified in putting you down, as does everyone else here, on account of your status as a simpleton.

And that wasn't a typo. You had no idea the Redskins weren't 2-3.

Until Sunday night, perhaps.
