Will Julien and Chiarelli be around to enjoy him next year? Tune in on next week's edition of: As The Spoked B Turns

Seriously though,is getting to the playoffs enough, or do the Bruins need to win a round to avoid changes?

I still don't want the Habs to play them in round 1. Even if we win, the series is so emotional it takes a lot to get up for the next one. Give me the Caps, or the Isles, even the Wings!
I think making the playoffs will be enough to keep them around. Chia definitely screwed the defense but the forward depth heading into the playoffs is going to help if Julien gets the lines right.

I obviously don't want the Habs. Nobody is giving the B's a chance against them so that at least takes the pressure off. Pastrnak, Spooner and Connelly will gives them a little more speed that wasn't there earlier in the year. Rask makes me nervous against them. The defensive depth is an issue.

Huge games this week and next week since the season ends April 11. The parity in the NHL is amazing since so many teams are still fighting for position. Several teams in the west can either win the conference of just be a wild card!

Nice Rangers lock....As they look to have lost some momentum along with net tending question marks. Then again the Islanders tank down to third....

FLAMES back up! Play LA and the Jets the last two games.......The West is winding up for a great finish.

This is one day I hope the Hawks win one.....Clip LA!

Good thing about a massive picture is I don't have to see it. Being a Ranger fan I wouldn't want to face the B's right now. Could be a good east battle, I think The Tampa bay Rangers will take it.

Nice win Hawks! With a tough win against the Star's it really helped the Flames tonight.

The Blues look like their tanking at the end of the season like usual! Hawks are climbing up in the standings too. The LA Kings are in serious danger of missing the playoffs!

Is Dustin Byfuglien a buffoon? Not sure how harsh the NHL is on their phone calls, if he misses time it will leave a mark.

Detroit, how about Drew Miller needing 50-60 stitches after taking a skate to the face and then wanting to come out and play in the 3rd vs Ottawa? Say's he wants to play tomorrow vs Boston. Mad respect.

That's one hell of a gash, how he didn't lose his eye IS a blessing.

Interview......Damage.

That's was a decapitation. Fucking douche bag, I hope the Jet's pay for it and LA sweeps in.

There's 260lbs behind that check square on the back of the neck. Behind the net cam looked bad but the in front camera shows the brute. Fortunately Miller didn't catch a face blade from Pavelec either.

The Kings have won 2 of the last 4 Cups and are extremely dangerous when they sneak in the playoffs at the last moment. It seems Mike Richards is not doing well at all so he could be their Achilles heel.

The Ducks seems to have the west all wrapped up!

I'm sure they'll release the results of Butfuglien's "phone call" today, I read an early transcript.

Phone hearing?

"Yo, Buff?"
"Speaking."
"Toronto here. You OK, son?"
"All good."
"Listen, shit this is awkward…"
"Just give it to me straight."
"Regret to inform you that… As you probably understand under these here circumstances…"
"I ain’t got all day."
"You OK with sitting two games?"
"Oh man… The kid’s alive, right?"
"Yes but Buff, Easter is just around the corner, and it’s just…"
"Alright I’ll do the two. How’s the wife?"
"Haha she’s alright man. You have a happy Easter now and thank you for your time!"
"Yeah, whatever."

Did you see Andre Deveaux attack before a game in Sweden the other day? Andre skates out and attacks a dude from behind for no reason, the game haven't even started, totally mental. Then in the interview he act like what? He's ok, he played that night!

Swedish prosecutors order arrest of Andre Deveaux after slashing incident....

I've grown to like the Flames. They have some good young players I figured would make noise next year not this year. Making the playoffs would be great, the cup would be a riot.

Butfuglin got 4 games suspension, figures the league would slap his wrist......It's late in the season, playoff race, Miller isn't hurt, that put's Buff back in for the last game of the season vs the Flames.
NHL's Department of Player Safety video.......I love the explanation points at the end, "No Apparent Injury".....But if it would have broke his neck Buff would have got what? Season ban?
http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=761122

Dustin Byfuglien's Dirty Hit on Steve Downie following Goal earlier in the year. Same shit....He's a Buffoon.

That's why their 45-1 lol
Tonight's game is funny they are getting TOTALLY getting outplayed at the moment St Louis shots on goal is 32-10 and face offs is 22-7 St. Louis but it's only 2-1 with 6 mind to go in the 2nd

Correction, 2 of the last 3. The year they didn't win, they still made it to the WCF despite Kopitar playing like a dog.

I think the Kings will be fine without Richards...it's the D I'm worried about this year. No Mitchell and no Voynov...huge parts of the defense that won the cup those two years. now, Sekera, who they just traded for at the deadline, who basically replaces Voynov, is injured.

I don't see the Kings winning the cup this year....then again, i didn't see it coming the other two times either.

Ugh...Clint Malarchuk? I saw that play so many times years ago, I don't want to look for the clip. I'm pretty sure the ambulance being on his side of the ice is the only reason he survived.

He has been great for the Panthers this year. Unless some miracle happens where either Boston or Detroit lose all their games, and Ottawa has a major slip, then it is yet another season without playoffs for the Panthers. :(

If LA sneaks in, which I reckon they will, the top seeded team will be shitting themselves. I bet they are really hoping it is either Calgary or Winnipeg.

Yeah it was Clint Malarchuk. The skate blade severed his jugular. I remember an interview after it happened where he was crying because he realized he easily could've died!

It's been said that if the Sabres (Malarchuks team) had been defending the other end of the ice, he would have bled out and died on the ice before help reached him.

He recently wrote a book about his life, and the impact that incident had on him. He battled with depression, tried to take his own life, and eventually won the battle with his demons and is back on track.
