Having a hard time admitting I agree with you on many accounts but I kind of do....It's not like a street thug. You're at work...But.

Respect is everything in the locker room and on the field, Martin should have stood up to Incog but it's clear Martin didn't have the courage and Incog is out of control. Standing up to Incog in front of the team and staff would have been the best option, he would have gained respect and support. The next step is collecting all data then hit the Dolphins GM's desk. Collecting data and taking step's might have alienated him from the locker room and we don't know how big of a roll Incognito played behind close doors.

http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/story/_ ... sment-case
Here's NYG's Antrel Roll's take.
"Was Richie Incognito wrong? Absolutely. But I think the other guy is just as much to blame as Richie, because he allowed it to happen. At this level, you're a man. You're not a little boy. You're not a freshman in college. You're a man."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Maybe he did but it's hard to imagine Martin didn't at least talk with the staff/friends/team mates let alone stand up to the Incog on the field.

Incog is a bitch who needs a blanket party. Martin needs to be traded and start over.

Sack's should be outlawed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Rodger's we can only hope that him and his family don't go hungry and can move on from this tragic event. Is there a trust fund?

AP probably wouldn't want this racist asshole on his team but he'd have no problem if it were a 300 pound homophobe. AP is one of the last people on earth who hasn't come to grips with the gay marriage thing yet.

Except for truther I'm sure. What's less manly than gay marriage?!
I kind of figured he wasent the brightest bulb with his "I don't know if its even possible for grown men to be bullied" bullshit. I knew the media would latch on to the bully angle but it goes further than that. We're talking about a crazy fucker here with a rage problem, this according to his former GM, You don't just walk up and punch a guy like that as dumb ass Ditka recommended, and it has nothing to do with manliness if you take another route. And Yes I'd love to hear AP asked if he'd want incognito on his team all im hearing from other players is how much of a jackass Richie is and the racist shit just took it to a whole other level, dude does not belong on any team.
The Dolphins have dealt with that. Now we can cancel the cryfest.

Let me ask you a question, if somebody at your job walked up to you. A big scary dude that is and demanded you pay for his trip that weekend, what would you do? You don't have to punch him or fight him.

That's why I say a grown man can't be bullied. If you're that bullied you need to go to the proper people and tell them. Bullying a grown man. Dude got robbed and punked, not bullied. Sorry.

And nice to know you called me a knuckle dragger and not a bright bulb, yet you agree with my point about the media being ridiculous. That's called pulling a meathead. A grown man getting bullied.
AP is such a pussy he can't even take care of his own kids!!!! Some idol jackass!!

One thing that hasn't been said yet is that Jonathan Martin pretty much did handle his problem, in essence he took a leave of absence to get his head straight. Maybe not the most macho Mike Tyson way of dealing with it but still respectable, considering he can't quit the team without being unable to get a job in the NFL for the rest of the season.

Considering how this happened right around the trade deadline I have to wonder if he had asked Philbin to be traded and was denied, and now Philbin is covering his ass by immediately suspending Incognito.

If the media is "calming the bully bullshit," doesn't that mean that in fact the Bully Issue is real?

We hate and mistrust the media, correct?

My love and allegiance to the media just grows. This story is an AWESOME way to bridge the gap from Sunday to football Thursday. It's got everything really.

I am actually starting to buy into Truther's take on this one (his original take, before he backpedaled and decided to make it about the media). Dude is kind of a pussy for taking all that shit and then having a mental meltdown.

But Incognito is obviously such a raging asshole that I can't help but enjoy his downfall.

Anyway, only one more day till I get to watch the Redskins try to claw one step closer to .500. The Skins actually ain't bad against the run - if we can shut down Father of the Year AP, we might be able to win this fucker. Call me overconfident, but I think I'll take my chances against Christian Ponder.

How did you miss this one from the Giants' player?

------------

Giants safety Antrel Rolle placed some of the blame for the ugly hazing and bullying incident with the Miami Dolphins that has gripped the league on the player who many feel is the victim: Jonathan Martin.

Dolphins guard Richie Incognito has been suspended indefinitely for hazing and bullying Martin, allegedly sending him racially charged and expletive-filled text messages and voicemails and forcing him to pay $15,000 for a trip to Las Vegas he didn’t go on.

"Was Richie Incognito wrong? Absolutely," Rolle said yesterday on his weekly radio spot on WFAN when asked how he would handle the situation if a teammate tried to shake him down for $15,000 under the disguise of hazing. "But I think the other guy (Martin) is as much to blame as Richie because he has allowed it to happen.

"At this level, you’re a man. You’re not a little boy. You’re not a freshman in college. You’re a man. I think everything has its limits. There’s no way another man is going to make me pay for something that I don’t want to pay for."

The Giants said they had no comment when informed of Rolle’s remarks.
PUNISHMENT? Top lawyer says Rolle 'should be disciplined' for remarks

Rolle, who paid for dinner, carried shoulder pads and was dunked into a cold tub as part of his rookie hazing, said it is possible Martin could return to the team but he has to man up.

"(Martin needs to) take awareness of the fact you’re a grown-ass man," Rolle said. "You need to stand up for yourself. Hazing is one thing; bullying is another."

Problem is, Martin, at 6-foot-5, 312 pounds, is more cerebral than physical. He doesn’t come from the hardscrabble background that many NFL players do and didn’t want to engage in a fistfight to settle the matter.

His father, grandfather and great grandfather were part of three generations of African-Americans who went to Harvard. He attended Stanford and was a second-round pick in 2012. Both of Martin’s parents are lawyers.

The NFLPA released a statement on the situation:

"We expect that the NFL and its clubs create a safe and professional workplace for all players and that owners, executives, coaches and players should set the best standards and examples. It is the duty of this union to hold the clubs and teams accountable for safety and professionalism in the workplace.

"As the representative organization of all players, the NFLPA will insist on a fair investigation for all involved. We will continue to remain in contact with the impacted players, their representatives and player leadership."

Rolle’s discussion continued on his Twitter account last evening, as he picked up the topic again in a series of tweets:

• Bullying should never take place under any means. My opinion is Martin should have put Richie in his place. Man against Man. #nobullying!!

• Never said bullying is acceptable under any means. It’s dead ass wrong. But in this world in general people will do what u allow them to do

• I am very sympathetic for Martin and if he was my teammate that would have never took place. That I can assure. A team is a team of brothers

• This has nothing to do with being in MIA or NY this is about protecting this union. There is no room for bullying. This game is hard enough!

Rolle said yesterday there is a place for friendly hazing on the college and professional levels. It’s part of football. But it must be done in moderation.

"Is it an issue in the NFL? Absolutely not," Rolle said. "I think this incident in it’s own has it’s own problem, it’s own spin on it. I’m not sure exactly what has taken place, what the actual facts are.

"I do understand one thing: Hazing is hazing. You’re going to go through it at the college and the professional level. But once it goes beyond that point, once it becomes a personal thing, that’s when the problem sets in."

Note: Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who suffered a small fracture in his left collarbone Monday night against the Bears, is expected to be sidelined at least three weeks and won’t play against the Giants on Nov. 17 at MetLife Stadium.

Rolle is speaking the truth. Although Incognito was way out of line, Martin does have to accept some responsibility for allowing the actions to take place.

There are now reports the Dolphins coaching staff instructed Incognito
to "toughen up" Martin after an off-season workout in which the Miami coaches felt like Martin was too soft.

I really don't recall what you wrote yesterday. Rarely do I read an entire post and then make a point to remember that post verbatim the following day.
Sorry to disappoint you!

The entire situation is a frikkin mess and someone has to lose their job.
Not sure if the head coach should suffer, an offensive line coach, etc....

If ESPN'S Adam Schefter continues to report on the Incognito situation, Adam might find himself in danger.

According to Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Dolphins coaches asked Incognito “to toughen up” Martin after he missed a voluntary workout during the 2013 offseason. Kelly cites “at least two” unnamed sources.

“Incognito was encouraged by his coaches to make a call that would ‘get [Martin] into the fold,’” Kelly reports.

This story is going to have legs and a lot of casualties.

Has to start with the head coach of the Dolphins and trickle down to his
Lieutenants.

Got to find somebody to blame.

I think I'll start with the person who pampered the giant vagina and Incognito himself. I'm pretty sure by "toughen him up" the coaches didn't mean to call him half nigger, steal his money and threaten his life.

I remember having footballs cards of his as a kid. It's the only way I knew about O-linemen.

Thursday Night football. The first one I might watch this season and time to turn rgIII into Joe Montana. The Vikes have 8 starters hurt that started in week 1. Should be awesome. Maybe I should just watch the Isles game instead.
