2-0 so far. 8)

Was watching the game until the streaming was so slow it wasn't worth it. :(

Chelsea look very slick, but luckily no penetration.

United have been good on the counter and clinical. :D

That was a good game and an important win. Chicarito has been very good, well he is better than Welbeck. Stupid cards for Chelski. Oh well.

Turned it off at 2-2 all pissed off that United had bottled a 2 goal lead. Come back in with ten mins left to see it 3-2 and the Chavs down to 9 men. Sounds like Torres was harshly sent off, and having seen a replay, Chicarito was offside for the winner. Makes a change getting decisions at the Bridge.

Missed the game yesterday as I was away with the wife on our 10 year wedding anniversary. Of course, I kept up with the score. 8) Sounds like United dominated and missed a bunch of chances including a Rooney penalty. Arsenal were weak. Good results all round though, including the dippers dropping points again today.

Arsenal were shit. More shitty in the first half than the second, but awful all day long.

They aren't even the best team in Liverpool anymore. :) I watched the Everton game. That Fellaini dude is pretty good, though he looks like Marc Storace from Krokus.

Dumb question: What is considered more prestigious? Winning the Premiere League or winning the Champions League?

Winning the Premier league should be a clubs bread and butter, with the champions league icing on the cake. Once you've won the league though, winning the CL might become a priority especially if you've never won it before.

It has gone well, but they need to stop having to chase at games. Comebacks don't always work out against better teams.

Yet another comeback, Hernandez was great. This side needs even more a world class full back, than a midfielder. Ferguson's mistake last season was preferring Welbck over Hernandez and Berbatov. This time it won't be over goal difference.

Who's this Weimann guy? Almost a hat trick.

Hernandez really is a super sub. Reminds me of another United striker.....
Was getting worried when there was talk of him being transferred elsewhere. The strong rumours were Arsenal and Athletico Madrid.
He is one of my favourite players along with Vidic and Van Persie, so glad he is still around. 8)

The first half was weird. Loads of possession but no cutting edge. RVP really wasn't in the game.
Second half was a vast improvement, but again it wasn't until we were 2 down before things got going. RVP really is quality. Still can't believe we were able to sign him. Hit the bar twice, but set up Hernandez for at least one goal.

Still concerned how reliant we are on Scholes. He just makes things tick over. It all gets a bit loose if he isn't on the pitch.

Carrick and Scholes does not work anymore as a midfield 2. It's even worse when the wingers are off form. All 3 wingers have been shite this season so far. And the way Carrick and Scholes operate, i.e getting the ball wide, when the wingers don't perform the side struggles. They are also easy to run past as Ireland did a few times today.

I'd play 4-3-3 with the current players and how their form is. It would also match most of the midfields that United will come up against, as no one is gonna play only 2 in there against United. So at least the midfield won't get over run. RvP, Rooney and Chica all deserve to start, and Ando and Clev have also looked good, even if Anderson has dodgy fitness. Fergie seems to think he has to play with wingers, or must play Valencia or some shit. Last time Carrick-Scholes started as a 2 Tottenham came to town, and we all know how that turned out.

Valencia is solid. Nani is way too inconsistent. Had his chance - should get rid.
Young is okay - more of a squad player.

And this season they have mostly been playing a diamond formation, which means in some matches there hasn't been any wingers!

I think it's the same like it was with Van Der Sar. Both should have been bought years before.

Yep.

Which dutch superstar in his mid 20s should we go for......

Also, fucking Dzeko. He's earned City 9 points with his game winning goals. :x

There's been only one league game, Newcastle away, where none of Nani, Young or Valencia hasn't started. Sometimes, Fergie in his wisdom, has played Welbeck out on the left. Fergie started with 2 wingers away at both Liverpool and Chelsea, and at home to Arsenal. United were lucky with ref decisions to win the first 2, and Arsenal didn't bother to show up at Old Trafford. Anyways, all 3 wingers are bang out of form and none of them deserve to start.

Makes me laugh when fans of other teams say that teams like Villa bend over for United but try hard against the others. Villa fought like fuckers last week but bent over for city this week. And only United get ref decisions, arf!

And have a good chance of not making the Europa league either. City will be clear favourites for the league if that happens. Depends on injuries too, of course.

I concur. :x

Especially with the unbalanced midfield we currently have. :(
