They don't. They USED to but Wade Boggs put an end to that by insisting he go in as a Tampa Bay Devil Ray. He sold that off to the Devil Rays basically.

THe HOF is generally retarded but putting an end to that kind of nonsense was a good move.

At first I misunderstood the Wade Yankee reference, because he has a 'B' on his cap, but then I got it. Wade Yankee's a cock though so I bet his denial of the Tampa cap incident is bullshit. I was in Boston ( with game tix ) for his celebration/ceremony with the Sox. I didn't attend and everyone I spoke with didn't and had the same sentiment "fuck Wade Yankee."

I read Maddux's statement/rationale for his blank cap and it's the same thing I would expect from him. The guy has always been classy with regards for both Atlanta and Chicago, but he should still be in as a Brave.

I didn't read LaRussa's statements but didn't he request not going in with Oakland? He shouldn't go in as a blank though he should have a syringe on his cap in honor of McGwire, Canseco and Pujols ( it's gonna come out for Albert ).
