wow, looks like New England has a real secondary for the first time in, what, 7 years? Revis, Browner, Dennard and Ryan are very solid, and Arrington is very good in the slot. McCourty is an excellent safety. You get a good strong safety and this is very, very solid unit.

Looks like they are trying to assemble a better match-up for Denver's passing attack. Problem is that they have virtually no pass rushers.
Seattle remains in a league of its own.

My God this is grasping at straws.

So I guess no ex-Redskin has ever played for the Cowboys?

Galloway - a guy signed off the waiver wire 3 teams and 7 years after he was a huge free agent flop for the Cowboys.

God forbid the Skins sign Spencer...I'll never hear the end of it from this idiot. That will make THREE former Cowboys the Skins have signed in the past fucking decade.

Oh I'm sorry, 4. We are counting Galloway, right? "Mr. Cowboy" Joey galloway? A guy who played on like 8 teams?

Cowboys fans are fucking retarded. Look no further than Sludge:

Bludgeon. Roadhead.

It's a trend!!! Just like the dozens of ex-Cowboys currently on the Skins roster!

Eddie LaBaron...

There could be, but, I doubt it.. If there is an ex skins player, he probably sucks or is the water boy.. Hahhaah

Well, the Cowboys certainly have plenty of players who suck...

It could either be a great move for him and the Packers or prove Da Bears made the right move!

Either way, Cutler has to be pissing his panties w/ this news!!!

He started 16 games last season. I count four where I actually even noticed he was on the field. He had 3 straight games with all zeros on the stat sheet. Not a pressure. Not a half sack. Not even a fucking tackle. In a row.

He'll be fine the first season of the contract because he's going to make an effort, but I'm not giving anyone 4 million a year to play a game month. GB should know better because they fucking played against the guy for four years.

yeah, he was a monster, but I think you only get a decent first half out of him in games, maybe. Now, if you can rotate the fuck out of him and try to keep him fresh, he still has some moves.

Was hoping the 49ers would sign Thurmond since he only went to NYG for 3.5 million. Niners CB are pretty sorry as of now with Brock, Culliver and Cook. Hope they have something in mind for the draft.

Where's TrutherSurrender? He usually shows up to chastise us for making fun of addiction. I'm wondering if the NSA has finally shut him down?

I wonder if Irsay was wearing an Ed Hardy shirt when they took him down?

I gotta hand it to some of the Sludgers here who continually called this guy out for his drunken tweeting while P13 steadfastedly insisted that Irsay was still on the wagon.

I was surprised at the deal LaFell got. He's not that good.

Yeah, hurting right now. This off season has killed me... Especially losing Steve Smith.. Not sure how we can turn this around.. They kinda did this same thing with the defense and we kicked ass last season. I think they are going for the same plan with the offense... :?

Panthers trying to nab DeSean Jackson...Doubtful IMO but on Friday, Jackson posted a picture to Instagram of himself with Cam Newton.

Panthers add Jerricho Cotchery and Tiquan Underwood. I like both picks, Cotchery can still find the endzone. The Panth's will probably pick another early in the draft and go into the season no worse then last year.

NFL, ESPN and everyone said the Panthers cant replace Smith, he's one of my all time favorites and I'm saying it now, he'll be an average 11mill WR in Baltimore with one of the weakest years of his career. While Tiquan Underwood "if he stays healthy" will have one of his best.

I'd still rather have Smith but the Panthers didn't have anyone to take the pressure off him and Smith isn't 24 anymore.

At the end of the season the Panthers and New England were in the same boat. I don't see any WR on either roster who couldn't be replaced.
Both teams needs to rebuild, Looks like the Panther's are already on the case. Pick up a vet or two and one or two in the draft. The Pat's or the Panther's couldn't do any worse then last season.

I like Jerricho Cotchery and Tiquan Underwood but neither are the answer. The Panthers need a field stretcher, an X factor. CamTeaBow Newton needs a good set of hands or he'll be simply.....Cambow.

"Eagles: A person close to Jackson has told The Morning Call in Allentown, Pa., there is "no way" DeSean Jackson will be on the Eagles roster when the 2014 season starts.

The Carolina Panthers were among the teams the Eagles "informally reached out to" in order to gauge interest in a trade for Jackson, Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer reported Friday.
Because of their glaring need at the position, the Panthers make surface sense as a trade partner. Digging deeper, though, general manager Dave Gettleman would have to create cap space to fit Jackson's salary.

A bigger impediment? The Observer has reported Steve Smith was released because Gettleman viewed him as a distraction. Considering Jackson's diva reputation, that would seem to make him a poor fit in Charlotte.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday that the Panthers have joined the Oakland Raiders, New York Jets, New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers as teams showing interest in Jackson."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Eagles losing DeSean Jackson is going to leave a mark.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Edit* I did not know this...

"Dave Gettleman jettisoned wide receiver Steve Smith, the most accomplished player in franchise history. Though Smith was somewhat expensive for a player closing in on his 35th birthday, this wasn't simply about money: Gettleman never approached him about the prospect of taking a pay cut, and the Panthers actually coughed up $3 million for the privilege of not having him on their team in 2014."

Wonder what went sour? They had a good season and Smith's a fiery type who wants to win but I can picture Smith even being a locker room distraction. A little expensive at 35 but the move had to be personal between Smith and Dave Gettleman.

For fuck sake........Richie Incognito likes Oakland Raiders: It makes so much sense. I know (offensive coordinator Greg) Olson and (offensive line coach Tony) Sparano.
Olson, who worked with Incognito as the St. Louis Rams' offensive coordinator from 2006 to 2007, and Sparano, who was the Dolphins' head coach from 2008 to 2011,.

The Dolphins traded Jonathan Martin to the San Francisco 49ers for a conditional seventh-round draft pick on March 12.

Great, Incognito Possibly to Oakland and Jonathan Martin in Frisco.....Bay Area buddies.
