The King was ejected for the first time today. Another AA umpire who can't do his job fucked his last K which resulted in 3 runs scored. The King let him have it and it was fucking fantastic.

Image

When asked what he said Felix replied "I asked him if he knew the score to the Heat game." Gotta love that guy.

Tim Lincecum also has a "return to form" game today with 11 Ks against Atlants as SF wins #25.

St. Louis wins on a walk off hit by pitch. That's the Cubs team I know and love.

A week or so ago the Angels beat the Yankees because of three runs walked in, in the bottom of the eighth.

It's official, Jose Fernandez having TJ surgery tomorrow. Fuck, that sucks.

Carlos Beltran on 15 day DL with, I don't know, something. He's old.

Chris Taylor ( Mariners SS prospect ) out with crack above knuckle ( index? ). This is brought up because both Nick Franklin and Taylor have been destroying AAA pitching. Brad Miller ( who I'm still in agreement potential-wise with the FO ) has been hitting sub-Mendoza line and is leading the team with 6 errors. He's obviously confidence shot and should be sent down. Look for Seattle to make the change today on their travel day.

That's the problem. Why so careful? Let these arms fling that ball for inning after inning.
Forget about the being cautious route. That option is failing at a high rate of speed.

Tom House needs to implement his throwing program on a national level. He might have been an average MLB player but he obviously knows what he is doing with pitching arms.

So Masashiro Tanaka has finally been beaten and it was by the Chicago Cubs.

I feel like nothing else needs to be said. :D

*edit*

Oh and here's a pretty cool gif of Robinson Cano. He's a pretty good hitter.

Prince Fielder ( still owned 144m ) is expected to undergo season ending surgery. Meanwhile Ian Kinsler is ranked #4 of all mlb 2nd baseman and Nolan Ryan is smirking about the job Jon Daniels and his cronies have done in his absence.

Mike ( .158 ) Moustakas sent back to AAA.

Oakland won 3-2 on ONE hit yesterday for victory #30. I root against them division-wise, but team is straight up punk. You gotta respect that.

Matt Cain doesn't expect to miss next start with hamstring strain.

Cliff Lee on 15 day DL ( presumed longer ) with sore elbow. Aside from Texas' woes ( 18 DL stints thus far ) I wonder if he regrets not resigning there.

Sergio Casillas out for at least a month with feared achilles rupture. Supposedly Bochy told him not to swing and he hurt himself running out a single. Fucking A.

I'm liking a lot of what I'm seeing in Seattle this year. McClendon uses the hit & run just a tad too much to my liking, but other than that they've got the potential to really surprise a lot of people and put up a helluva fight for the WC. Like Cano said they need another RHH ( possibly two  ), but they are almost right there. The Morales rumors are about to heat up again. King, Kuma, Walker, Paxton, and Elias is a terrifying rotation.

Saw the play this morning. Casilla has been the butt of jokes this year because of his previous plate appearances. The guy was tuned up to impress, run hard down the line and the kid gets injured.
The Giants TV announcers could not hide their disappointed as Casilla was laying on the ground.

Zack Greinke surpasses Roger Clemens ( 1991-92 ) record of 22 consecutive starts with 2ER or less.

That's actually pretty impressive.

Dodgers AAA affiliate releases Miguel Olivo for getting into a fight with a teamate and biting off a piece of his ear. Yes, that really happened.

Olivo will be done. He's a 35 year old horrible, horrible catcher ( led mlb in passed balls two years in a row, can't frame, can't hit ) so you can bet no one signs him now. Imagine having to be the guy who had to tell him he was DFA.

No shit? It apparently happened in the dugout. If you were there you could have witnessed that "veteran grit" Eric Wedge was so impressed by first hand.

Andre Ethier is called safe at first and after Ryne Sandberg comes to challenge, the call stands after review in the 3rd

http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/63817564/v ... d/?c_id=la

Fuck replay! And I'm a dodger fan but after watching that video...That isn't baseball. Just what we need more stoppages and to be wrong anyway.

Lucky I haven't watched much baseball this year, I check MLB.com and do the reading but if i have to watch replay and shit I'd probably only watch my team when I get the chance.

Did watch the Monaco Grand Prix, Indy 500 and the Rangers beat the Habs to go up 3 games to 1....Today.

Has replay been buggering up games this year for anyone?

Nope, it's worked for the most part. There was a Seattle game that the review took like 10 minutes and cost Elias ( I believe ) his start, but the bad instances are pretty rare.

Just in case anybody was getting close to taking the title away from them, Boston took steps to ensure they remained the biggest douchebags in baseball:

There's been a lot of discussion about that recently. "Unwritten Rules" and all that. I get that you don't bunt in the 9th against a perfect game when down considerably, etc. As for a running game at any point? Run. Win.

There's going to be a race in the East this season. Boston is better than they've playing so far, so Tampa should've tried to put as many runs on the board as they can. Win.

The wheels fell off pretty fast in SF against the Cubs. 3-0 to 8-3, I think they're going to miss Casillas more than anticipated.

Ryu took a perfect game into the 7th today against Cincy. If he would've kept his game intact it would've been the first time in history two teammates had them back to back.

I had a good feeling in the 7th but lost it when LA started putting up runs and Ryu reaching base and scoring a run. That long inning and running the bases looked like it took his game face off. After he crossed the plate he had a look of "this game is in the bag" he was smiling and jumping around.

Then he took the mound and every other pitch was right down the pipe. I like Ryu, he's a good pitcher and is getting better but I want to see him work out of more jams before I call him great.

I don't have a problem with Escorbar stealing 3rd base.
These are teams batting in the AL east and that tiny lead at that point of the game does not guarantee a victory.
Gomes is a punk. He thinks being a team leader is Boston is going to earn him a retired Jersey 15 years from now. YEAH RIGHT!!!!

Dude, Brian Cashman has the easiest job in baseball. He can't build for shit, can't draft for shit, but is able to throw ungodly amounts of money at every superstar available.

According to the power rankings the MFY's half billion dollar offseason shopping spree still as them missing the playoffs again.
