He made one bad play that I could count. Like I said, pretty much flawless.NeverSurrender wrote:poizond13 wrote:Rough game for RG3.I saw him throw a pick off his back foot into the middle of the field, ouch. Cost his team at least three points right there. And he could not lead his team to victory in the end. But hey, not all rookies can be like Andrew Luck, having a pretty much flawless second game, and leading his team on a game winning drive from his own twenty with 30 seconds left!! Luck had pretty much an ideal game, throwing no picks, and avoiding pressure all day. Guess we can't say the same for RG3. Not every rookie is ready to step up, just the special ones.
Flawless? You're on crack. Thank god the vikes bailed him out with penalty after penalty. I agree he looks great for a rook, but take that flawless shit somewhere else.

Re: NFL 2012 Thread
They didn't do shit in the second half until the Vikes played prevent. The one fg they did get was when the Vikes had those two stupid 15 yard penalties.

Re: NFL 2012 Thread
I blame that more on play calling than on Luck. We were way too conservative in the second half, running the ball too often when it clearly was not working. Luck basically had zero running game to rely on all game. Usually we'd find ourselves in second or third and long due to inability to run. Should have mixed it up with more passes on first down.NeverSurrender wrote:They didn't do shit in the second half until the Vikes played prevent. 6 points with 9 gazillion penalties against the Vikes and their shitty team and it was flawless.

Maybe you missed the part we he ran 20 yards backwards on 3rd down at the end of the game.

Are you that slow? Like I said twice already, he made one mistake. I thought it was obvious what that mistake was, but I guess you have to really spell everything out to certain idiots.
So, I will say it again, other than the OBVIOUS one that I already mentioned, can you point out any other mistakes that Luck made during the game?
Dumb troll.

he will come back to earth. The Vikes handed them that game. Not to mention the most inconsistent officiating I've ever seen. Of course as dumb as the Vikes were playing the refs probably threw a flag just because.

Anyone that watched game, which you claim you did, would know there was one obvious mistake Luck made. That's why I mentioned it TWICE that he made one bad play. Still waiting for you to point out the rest of his mistakes. Oh wait, you can't.From a mistakes standpoint, Luck was pretty much flawless. Unless you can point out what mistakes he made other than the one I noted. I'll wait.

I agree the refs were horrible. On Minnesota's final drive, they ruled Harvin down when it was clearly a fumble recovered by the Colts. So don't even think about using the refs as an excuse, boy.NeverSurrender wrote:Facedown wrote:Right on cue, p13 continues to master his troll handbook.

Griffin was fine today, especially considering it was his 2nd game. Watch the highlights and you'll see that losing that game was truly a team effort.
John is right in that he "came back to Earth" - as in he won't win player of the week.
But 200 yards passing, 80 yards and 2 TDs rushing, and a Td pass...yeah not quite Rex Grossman numbers but I'll take it.
Czaban's twitter feed was the best during the Skins game.

These people are completely unqualified to be doing these jobs, and it's incredibly dangerous. I've seen them miss many personal fouls - late hits, head shots - important stuff.
And they came close to completely losing control of the Ravens/Eagles today. The Redskins/Rams game was an incredibly nasty and messy affair, and it's all because these players do not have any respect for these scabs and they are all pushing the envelope - and in many cases they are getting away with murder.
If this continues, sooner or later this season, the refs are going to lose complete control of a game, and something really ugly is going to happen.
It's a disgrace. This is a dangerous, fast sport and having scabs in there making things up as they go along is a disaster waiting to happen.

That wasn't his fault. Coach Pagano thought the clock would be running as soon as the ball was spotted, so he told Luck to clock it. That's on the coaching staff, not Luck. And in the end, it cost us absolutely nothing.NeverSurrender wrote:p13,

Re: NFL 2012 Thread
What's surprised me the most is how poised the once easily rattled Alex Smith is looking this season. He is now the record holder for the niners for most passes thrown without a pick. Not bad considering a couple of guys that preceded him were okay at the position.crabfan wrote:As a Niners fan I'm pumped about being 2-0 and doing it against two strong teams (GB and Detroit). SF has is good in all 3 phases of the game. And Akers still kicks the living shit out of the football.

He's come full circle. He'll never be a dominating QB, but he's gotten to the point where he can be very efficient while making some nice throws and playing mistake free football. He can lead this team to Super Bowl, no doubt about it.johnk5150 wrote:What's surprised me the most is how poised the once easily rattled Alex Smith is looking this season.
