Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Without giving what the dirt sheets are saying any consideration, what's everyone's predictions for Money In The Bank?
Apparently Barrett hurt his shoulder at the Smackdown tapings. I don't know how serious it is or whether it's a work. But if it is a work and he is by some chance taken out of MITB, I'd say either Bryan or Lesnar gets his spot with whoever it is definitely winning. Other than that, I'd say Seth Rollins gets the contract.
The match for the Title, I do like Roman Reigns a lot but I think a lot of people are right in saying it may be too soon for him. I think he'll come close to winning then Triple H will screw him leading to Reigns/HHH at Summerslam.
I can see Kane winning, believe it or not, just so he can lose it to Bryan when he comes back and finishes their feud.
Paige retains (I hope)
For some reason WWE likes the Usos so I won't be surprised if they keep the belts. But I'd rather see the Wyatts win.

And as for Infinite's question I agree about Reigns they need to hold up on that don't see'em pulling the trigger just yet so I'll go with their go to guy and say Cena wins the belts.
I see the Wyatts taking the tag belts and I don't even know who Paige is wrestling nor do I give a fuck if you want me to pay attention put the belt on the real hot chicks you got not some girl that looks like she's allgeric to sun.
And for the real MITB match I say Rollins wins and maybe not Sunday night but very soon he cashes it in to become not just the champ but also the first one from the shield to win the big belt.
And on a later PPV they can have Reigns get his revenge and the title from Rollins.
For all the WWE network subscribers have you guys watched the Beyond The Mat special on WCCW man that was good and a bummer at the same time.
When I was a kid Kerry Von Erich was my favorite wrestler this was before he joined the WWF I used to watch the old Saturday night show they had on cable man I feel old all of a sudden.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Cena will win the title on Sunday, AND, he should!
Not that I really care for him, but it perfectly sets up a Cena/Lesnar match at summerslam. That is the only logical choice for a company that's been hit hard financially as of late. You need to go with the big money match, and their match from a couple of years ago was fucking awesome, so I'd be stoked for that.
My Summerslam
Cena vs Lesnar for the title
Reigns vs HHH
Usos vs Rowan/Harper vs. Goldust/Stardust for tag titles
Bray Wyatt vs. Orton (Wyatt is pretty much a face by this point)
Bad News Barrett vs Seamus (unification of IC and US belts - Barrett may still be injured so who knows)
Paige vs. Who gives a shit
Ziggler vs. Rusev (for the hell of it)
Now how awesome of a card would that be eh? Hire me now WWE

Cena vs Lesnar is a good main event not sure why they had Brock destroy The Undertaker just to have him leave after Wrestlemania.DOWN2WHISKEY wrote:WTG Amazon, spoil it for everyone!!!
Found on Amazon.com is the SummerSlam 2014 DVD listing is new poster artwork for the PPV event, potentially spoiling a John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar main event.
Also of note is that the release date of the SummerSlam DVD/Blu-ray looks to have been moved from September 2nd to September 16th for the United States market.

If Brock beats Cena for the belt at SS then what is a realistic scenario for him to keep it up until Mania as it's highly unlikely he will defend the title at every PPV.
Where's Izzy?

If he does ( and I highly doubt it) it will be with the sole intent for Brock to drop the strap on a Rollins cash in.Angry Jew wrote:If Brock beats Cena for the belt at SS then what is a realistic scenario for him to keep it up until Mania as it's highly unlikely he will defend the title at every PPV.

Between him fucking with that little midget and wishing Daniel Bryan well he's quickly moving up in the heel dept. in my eyes.
Where in the hell is Mysterio right now that would be a good set of matches for him to have if Mysterio would be willing to put him over.
Or is Mysterio and El Torito one and the same?
His Brother Bray Wyatt is starting to remind me of The South Park episode when all the boys started their own wrestling company.

Mysterio is nearly finished, yet protected by WWE by his merch earning potential.
Chris Jericho has volunteered to come in for a short run to build the Bray Wyatt persona. Yep.

YES! GO! It is well worth it. Mick speaks as good as he writes(iI read his first two books and they are fantastic). He is very funny and has numerous entertaining stories. When I went, after his show he did a 20 minute Q&A and then everyone who went got to meet him and get his autograph. For free. He asked that you buy a picture or some other merch(you don't have to, he understands that money can be tight), but the profits go to RAINN, so its not like he is ripping off his fans like so many people like to do. He will pose for a picture too. I had him sign my Halloween Havoc 93 video, and he talked about Vader with me.VanDokken wrote:Thinking of going to see Mick Foley's comedy show tomorrow night (7/18)....anybody here gone to any of his shows? good time?

I loved him as a wrestler, but this made me love him as a person. It's clear he cares about his fans. If you aren't strapped for cash, you need to go. You won't regret it.

Sting doesn't want to be in the WWE for very long, and certainly not long enough to begin any sort of lengthy feud w.anyone. He just wants to wrestle Taker, then walk off into retirement. His body can't take the beating anymore of any kind of long feud.
Had Vince stuck to the plan, and not let Lesnar beat Taker to break the streak, it would've been a perfect setup for Sting to wrestle Taker, and lose or win and then go off into retirement. Sting was a little pissed when he found out they did it that way.

Vince fucked up big time by allowing Taker to lose to Brock.
According to HBK the decision was made just 3 hours before Mania began.

taker wanted to lose to a legitimate athlete. it was taker's last match. when a worker leaves a territory he has to put over the next guy. that's old school.

Bingo. Taker was on his last legs this past WM, it'd been a long time comin but eventually the body says no more.
Nothing to be ashamed about he's a legend if anything when it comes to this subject Sting needs to STFU he's the one who waited too long to make the jump.
I'm glad he's finally doing it but when his contract with AOL/Time Warner expired he should of done it then instead of going to TNA.

Problem was that the next guy is a well established part timer. There was huge value to be gained by whoever broke the streak, but beyond Heyman's gloating, what did it bring us?Kid-Wicked wrote:it was vince's idea but taker had to approve it.sliquor wrote:Vince fucked up big time by allowing Taker to lose to Brock.
