Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
I caught the NJPW show.
Overall I liked it, didn't love it.
Nakamura is one of the coolest wrestlers out there, love his schtick.
The crowd culture there is annoying to me. Yes, it's all about honour and respect, but I need a crazy boisterous crowd to keep me enthralled.
A lot of the Japanese guys lack character.
The Young Bucks are pretty cool, although they take away any suspension of belief I have as their matches are just wayyyy too scripted. Same goes for those other guys.
I liked it, and will watch again, but it lacks that north american feel that's far too ingrained in me.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Did anybody check out the debut of TNA on it's new channel? I caught bits and pieces seemed about the same.
I can't remember that big fat white chick that supposed to be the monster heel on there but anyway after a battle royal she was the last one in the ring and then Awesome Kong came out.
That was the only new person I saw show up might of been others that I missed though.

Destination America. I didn't even know if I had the channel. It was buried way up high amongst a lot of those 24 hr infomercial channels that I never look at.
There was also a ad for a new reality program that starts next Tuesday on WGN. It looked like Honey Boo Boo's next door neighbors and the whole family was into wrestling with the red-neck daddy trying to be an indie wrestler.
Total fucking train wreck of a family and show so I'll probably check it out at least once.

Jerry The King Lawler has been replaced on the Raw announce by King Booker. Lawler moves to Smackdown and will still call PPV's.

Let's get one thing straight here - The Ascension suxx!
Two overhyped jobbers who would be on the receiving end of The Doomsday Device within two minutes on a Saturday night in Hotlanta.
- & The Doomsday Device would be one of those awesome ones where the jobber does a 360.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
I just heard Randy Savage is going into the HOF...only 4 years too late.
Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Randy wanted all the Poffos (father Angelo & brother Lanny) to be inducted, not just himself.That-guy wrote:I just heard Randy Savage is going into the HOF...only 4 years too late.
Doubt that will happen.

Pretty sure the Hart family said that they didn't want Owen inducted. They may have changed their minds since though. He certainly deserves it. I mean, they inducted Koko B. Ware for fucks sake.Kid-Wicked wrote:#whataboutowen?

davey and owen inducted someone but neither are in there themselves. find it hard to believe that the hart family wouldn't want owen honored after stu and bret were.That-guy wrote:Pretty sure the Hart family said that they didn't want Owen inducted. Vince has that HOF all fucked up.
One of the early inductees was jobber Johny Rodz.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
The Hart family didn't want Owen inducted after his death. I think they felt that they just wanted nothing to do with the company after that since they blamed Vince and WWE. Of course, time has passed now so things may be different now. Owen certainly deserves it.Kid-Wicked wrote:davey and owen inducted someone but neither are in there themselves. find it hard to believe that the hart family wouldn't want owen honored after stu and bret were.That-guy wrote:Pretty sure the Hart family said that they didn't want Owen inducted. Velvet Sky out, Awesome Kong in. TNA seems to focus on improved bitch and tag divisions again.
I'm also liking Lucha Underground more and more, that shit could actually last a while.

I love the Rumble, but not enough to pay for it with WWE being the way it is these days. Does anybody have a stream? Thanks!

Having Bryan eliminated so early was a terrible idea...it killed the crowd. The WWE really thinks Reigns is ready.....I see this causing more bad issues for them.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Hmmm...
While , I don't think Reigns is ready for the WWE Championship. I am glad that goat boy Bryan was eliminated . That guy sucks balls. Annoying as fuck on the mic and just a shitty wrestler..
What about Curtis Axel? How come the RR didn't continue? Dude was never "considered" out? Because, he never started..
Fuck Lesnar. That part time POS. Rollins would be a complete better champ.. He would at least defend the title...
Oh well, hope Raw is a kickass show.
