Some positive news on the Sanders situation: Bill Polian is hopeful and expects that Bob will be able to return late in the season. While I still am not getting my hopes up on him coming back, that would be a huge boost to our defense if he were able to return in time for the playoffs. It would be 2006 all over again, and we all know how that turned out.

I have chose to forget that Jacksonville game. I do remember Bob Kravitz, our local Indystar pundit, saying that MJD would have had a lot more yards but he kept running into the end-zone.

I remember someone else doing that with NE a couple years back. Kept referring to Boston as title town and stirring up the shit. Then Tyree made that fucking catch. I can't say I was actively rooting against NE that super bowl, but it didn't break my heart to see some of the big talkers here on the board knocked down a couple of pegs. Greg will prolly get his this season. Dynasties don't last forever.

I was rooting against New England in the superbowl. In Indy we root against new England in every game. Same with the Pistons and Knicks....just the way it is. I think I may have even been more excited when the Giants won than when the Colts won. Of course I was less drunk...so maybe that was it.

No predictions from me on division victories yet. It's just too early, but a 17 point comeback and a 500 yard passing performance didn't suck. The secondary got picked apart again and that game was nerve wracking as hell, but 2-0 is 2-0. I'll take it. Peyton's boys looked good, Very good. Nice atonement.
