Re: NCAA Football...why dont we have a thread for it?
Alabama ......HAHAHAHAHAHA! That's all I have to say about that.
Now if Auburn can pull it off. I like Jameis Winston but the only thing better then watching Alabama lose is watching any and all Florida teams fall off the earth. I'd scalp and Indian to watch the Tigers run it up and down the field all game long.
It's awesome watching Clemson pound Ohio St in the ground here in the 2nd 20-9. Not sure it will last but it's fun to watch......Ok...20-15 now. FUCKERS!
Can't post and watch College football at the same time, it's like trying to post scores during a basketball game.

22-20 OSU at half. Don't ask me how. Our already weak-ass defense is down 3 more starters.
Thank God Clemson's secondary is just as bad.

Re: NCAA Football...why dont we have a thread for it?
Auburn is bringing the pressure and controlling the line but if they don't extend a few drives and put up more points Winston will eventually come up with some plays. This game isn't safe but it's looking great for Auburn.BodyBagz wrote:FSU has their hands full with these Miracle Tigers...Winston looks totally confused at times...
Go Tigers.
See Bo Jackson as the honorary captain for the coin toss? Brought back a few memories.
Auburn 21 FSU 10 3rd

#11 on Auburn should be hazed for allowing that big play to happen.....Then he tops it off with a pass interference as I type this out....Toss that dude out.
FSU gets the TD with 13 seconds left
FSU 33 Auburn 31

FSU pulled out the win...but they had to work their asses off to get it. Auburn played them down to the line, and made FSU earn every yard and every point...

2 stupid penalties that Auburn had...each resulted in points by FSU. Oh well, this season is done and n0w its just a waiting game until next season and the first for the new playoff system...and I imagine it will be a goat fuck of epic proportions...UtahRatt wrote:#11 on Auburn should be hazed for allowing that big play to happen.....Then he tops it off with a pass interference as I type this out....Toss that dude out.

When the Braves lost to the Dodgers this year it was like thousands of retarded rednecks doing the choke their chicken motion. Now watching LA and other teams mock the chant is great. I've been in on those in Colorado, it's a great mock.
FUCK FSU.
I dig Winston, hope to see him in the NFL someday.

Final Rankings are out and of course the "experts" have it all wrong.
How does Auburn with 2 losses get ranked ahead of Mich St(1 loss team)???
I'm surprise Alabama did not end up ranked ahead of Oklahoma, despite
losing bad to OU.

Re: NCAA Football...why dont we have a thread for it?
Right after leading his team past Auburn in the BCS National Championship Game, winning MVP honors in the process, a championship-hat-wearing Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston was interviewed on ESPN as the man of the hour.
It wasn’t what Winston said but rather how he said it, it seems, that led Dee Dee McCarron (formerly Bonner), the mother of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron, to ask in a tweet she quickly deleted, “Am I listening to English?”

Dee Dee McCarron later returned to her Twitter account to apologize:
Dee Dee McCarron @DeeDeeBonner
Any1 that knows our family knows we r far from racist. My tweet was not in anyway meant that way. I sincerely apologize if it offended any1

Manziel declared for the NFL draft.
Forgoing his final 2 years of eligibility.
The kid is making a HUGE mistake.
He has no career in the NFL. I don't care how fast he runs or how he is able to get away from the pass rush and keep the play alive.
He will be sitting right next to Tebow is about 3 years.

Why is that a HUGE mistake? You don't seem to think sticking in college for another 2 years is gonna make him an NFL QB, so why not give it a shot now? Either way he's gonna land on his feet, right?
Unless he descends into Ryan Leaf land.

Re: NCAA Football...why dont we have a thread for it?
Manziel leaving for the NFL is both good and bad...for him personally, and for the fans as well.
Financially speaking, he is set to make some serious bank...but he is also coming out against other/better well rounded quarterbacks, such as Teddy Bridgewater (Louisville), Zach Mettenberger (LSU), A.J. McCarron (Alabama), Tajh Boyd (Clemson) and Aaron Murray (Georgia) who also have more years under their belts. The majority of these QB`s have not had the off-the-field issues that JM has had, and as such, coupled with their maturity level versus his, may be a better long run franchise type QB...Murray jumps to mind here as does Bridegwater and possibly McCarron if picked by a team with a great senior 1st stringer to take him under his wings.
If I were in his corner, I would have to seriously look at the options at QB this year in the draft versus what will be available next year, as well as where the Aggies may fall as far as contention not only in the SEC, but also nationally...an SEC Championship, a possible 3rd running for the Heisman and a possible National Championship could not only add $$$ to a contract, but also put some added "seasoning" on the guy and make him more appetizing to teams..
In the end, hes got to do what he thinks is right, and dollar for dollar, this may very well be his best opportunity to get that windfall prior to someone putting a crimp in his style like what happened to RGIII... There is no doubt the kid has skill...against other college players...but he is 100% UNTESTED against 280-360lb+ players who still manage low 5-5.5 40 yard speeds and possess a "QB killer" type instinct. Give him limited playing time for the first year, moderate snaps when you are up in the score, and just nurse him along and he is liable to have a career like the guy e reminds me the most of, Steve Young....dont, and he has a very distinct possibility of 2-3 years and out with a bad injury...or he becomes a dedicated 3rd stringer on a budget team...

Next year the qb class is STACKED. Mariota, Winston, Hundley. He was smart coming out now.

Re: NCAA Football...why dont we have a thread for it?
This. He's not going to be a better QB in another year or two. If he's lucky, he'll get taken somewhere late in the draft where he can sit behind a proven leader and learn. If he's thrown into a situation to be a starter in his first year, he's destined to fail.Crazy Levi wrote:

Other than Bridgewater, none of those guys are projected as first rounders. They may end up better in the long term, but that doesn't make Manziel's decision the wrong one.BodyBagz wrote:Financially speaking, he is set to make some serious bank...but he is also coming out against other/better well rounded quarterbacks, such as Teddy Bridgewater (Louisville), Zach Mettenberger (LSU), A.J. like JaMarcuss Russell will be given out.
Endorsements?
Kind of like Tim Tebow has at the moment?
The kid will have to play out of his mind in his rookie season and/or
win the rookie of the year for Madison Ave to come calling his name.
None of which can happen when the kids is a bust in the NFL
or making a living wearing a sweet headset during every offensive snap.
