Dallas with a a huge win. Nobody saw that coming. Especially all the Colts fans up in here and the anti-Dallas fans up in here.
In previous seasons Dallas would have wet the bed and walked away on the wrong side of the score.

Are you fucking retarded? Everybody here hates the Colts, just like everybody hates the Cowboys.Machado wrote:Dallas with a a huge win. Nobody saw that coming. Especially all the Colts fans up in here and the anti-Dallas fans up in here.
NEW REGIME?! What are you talking about? It's the same underachieving idiots who have been in charge for years.
Regardless, enjoy it. Can't deny that it's the Cowboys' turn to win the annual NFC East shitshow...Redskins, Eagles, Cowboys...guess it's the Giants' turn next season?
Good fucking luck in the playoffs. Romo will screw it up, and you might just have a Wild Card team as good as the Seahawks coming to town.

Loser of the GB/Det game might be a Dallas opponent. And yes you are correct about the Seahawks possible being an opponent.
I would much rather avoid GB at all costs. Rodgers scares the shit out of me.
Dallas already owned SEA in SEA, so that match-up is a game Dallas can win again.
Levi-You are a moron and the turn of the calendar in 2015 will not change matters. How can Dallas continue to be the underachieves when this season the team captured the NFC East and eclipsed the 8-8 win/loss mark?

you said
NEW REGIME
NEW ATTITUDE
How is this "regime" any different than the one that went 8-8 for the three previous seasons?
Is this just a case of you using words you do not understand again?
Re: The NFL Thread
I pray that Dallas runs into Seattle again. The Seahawks were not playing well when Dallas beat them. Seattle is now firing on all cylinders and they will bend Dallas over and make them bite the pillow.
And Machoado, you shouldn't be too proud of the win over the Colts. First, the Colts really aren't that good. They are blessed with a division worse than the NFC south. Second, they had NOTHING to play for. They didn't give the first shit about that game and it was evident from the opening kick. If they cared, TY Hilton would have played. What that game was for Indy was a scrimmage. It meant everything to Dallas. So relax your boner.

Same shit he pulled in San Fran until Kaepernick took his job. I sometimes wonder if San Fran should have kept Smith, with some of Kaepernick's struggles. But then I am reminded Smith can't find the end zone either.Peterbilt wrote:The Chiefs were in the red zone 4 or 5 times yesterday. Could only get field goals. That doesn't cut it. See you next year.
Re: The NFL Thread
Smith is useless. Sure his win loss record is phenomenal but if you really look at it, he didn't go out and win any games. I think down six with three minutes left he's the absolute last quarterback I would want to lead me down the field.

Green Bay, Seattle. I think Both teams would beat Dallas. Seattle isn't the same team they were in the beginning of the year. Both of those teams are good.
But, give a little credit where it's due maybe.
Colts aren't that good. Blah blah... They weren't playing for anything.. The sun rised in the East this morning.. There was no windchill factor. BLAH BLAH BLAH... Dallas will choke as usual..Etc. Etc.
Yeah, the Mach has some retard moments in here.
But, Jesus. The Cowboys handled business in December. Don't they deserve just a little cred? LOL

Re: The NFL Thread
I will give props to Dallas. A few weeks ago it was Philly's division to lose and they choked the shit out of it. Meanwhile the big D quietly won the games it was supposed to. I don't think anyone beats Green Bay but THAT'S WHY THEY PLAY THE GAMES. Hopefully the ghosts of Romo past don't spoil it for you guys.

This guy has started 99 games in a row and now he gets to sit and watch as the Lions play for the Div title.

Re: The NFL Thread
Oh yeah, they definitely exercised some of their December demons. I look at the win over philly as huge. The Indy win looks good but they didn't exactly have to take the Colts best shot. I'm still skeptical about Dallas though. I keep waiting for Garrett to revert back to form and forget to run the ball and just try to throw it every down.Bludegeon wrote:Gritt wrote:I pray that Dallas runs into Seattle again. Don't be. The Colts went in there to win. Plain and simple. TY out did help massively. Colts just had one of "those games" which are usually reserved for Dallas in December. LOL..
I think Garrett can see what is working and set his ego aside, believe or not. Plus. I don't think Rob is gonna let Garrett to that..
Nor Dez. Or Romo.

The guy has been in the league like fifteen years, the Lions drafted a third rounder this year to replace him. Sink or swim they should just cut him if the rookie does a decent job. The Lions have really cleaned up this year, but this dumb ass feels the need to keep the negative image in the public mind.

Caught the tail end of the game last night and Peyton is in playoff form already.
Wouldn't surprise me to see another one and done from the Broncos this go-round.

I think you're right. That last ball he threw to end the game looked terrible it was all wobbly and had no velocity at all it seemed to move in slow motion.

Is it possible the conglomeration of "Amazing Goop," duct tape, and military-grade coagulant that is holding his neck together is finally starting to give way, just in time for the playoffs?eddie lee roth wrote:I think you're right. Well he did lead them to 11 wins so far and his playoff rep is due to his entire career so there's that but I think all those neck surgeries are finally catching up.

He's had a few bad nights though and I was thinking the same thing about his neck. I know he took a hit or something last week but I doubt that's the issue.Crazy Levi wrote: Is it possible the conglomeration of "Amazing Goop," duct tape, and military-grade coagulant that is holding his neck together is finally starting to give way, just in time for the playoffs?

Funny story with that game though. A friend of mine works Bengals games. I don't know if he's some kind of usher or what but he's on the field. Said he was hanging out hoping to snag a couple of autographs after the game.
He got Ray Lewis but never saw Manning again. He realized that maybe he could catch Elway so when he came out, my friend asked him. Said as soon as he did, a cop told him, "NOPE!" Said Elway just looked at him and shrugged it off and signed his pass.
He said that some security guard told him later that he had to leave and that asking for autographs was against NFL policy and doing so could get him arrested.
WTF???

Re: The NFL Thread
I'm pretty sure most teams have policies that forbid employees from asking for autographs/taking pics while they are on the clock. A couple guys got canned in Houston last year or the year before when they got their pics taken with Brady.DaveB wrote:He's had a few bad nights though and I was thinking the same thing about his neck. Re: The NFL Thread
He literally just clarified it for me on Facebook. I thought he was on the field but he said that he was actually in the basement at the locker room exit and that rule DOES apply in that area.

It's one thing to lose your job and get escorted out the gate but to get arrested. C'mon man that security guard is full of shit.

Re: The NFL Thread
Right. I don't doubt the rule but you're not getting arrested for that. Typical mall cop attitude.

Manning has had no zip on his passes for a while now. He hasn't looked like he's had anything on his passes since the St Louis game. Coincidentally it was after that game that they miraculously discovered a running game.Crazy Levi wrote:Is it possible the conglomeration of "Amazing Goop," duct tape, and military-grade coagulant that is holding his neck together is finally starting to give way, just in time for the playoffs?eddie lee roth wrote:I think you're right. Suppose that weird liquid stuff falling from the sky had anything to do with it?
I am from Calif, but, I think they call it rain?
Saw a number of throws by him last night that looked like the football slipped.
