There's already been an NFL team with a losing record that made the playoffs.
No team in the NFC South has ever won back to back championships...You watch football right? Panthers may be a threat in the playoffs.. Not getting to excited but they have looked great lately... No need to be a dick... Dick...

Yeah, I am sure that Green Bay and Seattle are shaking in their boots right now..

Levi may be acting like a dick... LOL.

But, no need to be delusional.

Cowboys pounded the skins from the opening kickoff, to the onside kick and through the final rushing TD to make the score 44-17
Dallas took a lot of jabs here and nationally for wanting to play the starters, let alone leave them on the field for the entire game. Now that is how a team with momentum is supposed to put away a rival and get to 12 wins, 4 losses.
Dez is a beast on the field. The move he made on the DB to getaway for the TD was great and the manner in which he was able to get 2 toes down for the second TD was a great play.

Waiting to learn if the next game is Sat or Sun.

I'm sure the returning Superbowl winner Saints were REALLY terrified of playing Seattle when they were the NFC West champions at 7-9.

Sorry I had no idea that this qualified as "historic." Isn't that division like 10 years old?

I guess what it means is that in the history of this historic division, the teams have pretty much sucked ass which is why they trade off the title every year. That they are sending a 7-win team to the playoffs is evidence of pretty low quality of teams.

But hey once you are in the playoffs, who knows I remember when the Seahawks took their division with 7 wins and they won their first playoff game, against the saints. After that...good luck.

It's been 12 years, and in half of those seasons they've also earned a wild card spot. So no, the division hasn't "pretty much sucked ass" all that time. Just this year.

Panthers had also never made the playoffs in back-to-back years, so there was some team history made today.

Yes. You can probably get two top OL guys with the first two picks. For 5 years they've been picking up later round OL guys who never amount to shit. Time to draft them high.

After those first couple of picks I guess you go with secondary / DL/ LB. But again with so many holes you aren't gonna hit many of them in the draft.

You can never get decent OL in free agency so you have to draft there. I always laugh when I see Redskins fans saying "We'll just address OL in free agency!" No decent lineman hits FA, it's as simple as that. They are either old or they suck.

Look I'm happy as fuck for the Panthers. Good for them. And, everyone seems to think they'll beat Arizona too for some reason. I'm sorry I was unaware of the historic nature of tonight's win - has the game ball made it to Canton yet?

I want o line in he first two rounds. I'm actually not as worried about the defense. Injuries killed it this year. I'd like a new coordinator though.

This.. Talk all the shit you want but it is what it is.. Yes, the division may be trash but every division HAS to have a winner.. Would I like to see the Panthers do better? Absolutely... But will I bitch with them WINNING the division for a repeat and it's NEVER been done.. Nope... Not bitching at all!! On top of that I think we have a better chance now then we did at 12-4 last year.... I've been pretty much quiet on this board so far, GOD forbid I enjoy it, and I knew someone would HAVE to question "what history"... LOL

They had a first-round bye last year. How can they stand a better chance going into the playoffs this year when they have to play one more game to reach the SB? :?

The defense was terrible all season and I can't blame injuries. Orakpo is gone unless he's cheap he's not worth franchise money. Hatcher can go also, all his cap hit was this season. The defense is too old. Talent-level I don't think they are as bad as they've looked but the coordinator and most of his lackeys have to go.

I was just pointing out that the NFC South hasn't been as terrible as you stated.

If the Panthers win next week, they'll probably get bounced the week after. No big deal.

I guess we shall see. They started off like shit this year, but the new players have gotten into it and the defense has went from #25 to #10.. I'm not saying they are winning the superbowl but I think they will do SOMETHING....

I'm not real thrilled with Gruden but I think they have to keep him. There has to be some stability. If he's the quarterback guru that he's supposed to be then I guess more time with Griffin can't hurt.

Panthers are playing their best football of the season.

But they've been beating up on other crappy NFC South teams. Seattle, Green Bay, and Dallas are on another level.

That's all well and good but if he fights to keep his crony Haslett around it'll be hard to take Gruden seriously going into next season. Haslett has been here 5 years and the defense has been terrible the whole time. Even when they have been statistically half-decent, they never make the big stop at the crucial time. He's had enough time and he's gotta go.

Very true, I'm not arguing that point... BUT they have really picked it up at the end of the season.. I can't wait to see what they do.. IF they don't get a win I'm ok with that... I wanted just to have back to back for the first time... Shirts and hats already ordered. It's HISTORY....

Yep. Hell, bring in London Fletcher to be coordinator. He pretty much coached on the field while he played.

Romo could go to the SB with a good system. Dallas for the most part has had the players, their system sucks. I picture what Romo would do on the Ravens, SF, Arizona this season.

It would be fun to watch Romo vs Manning in the choke bowl. Romo in the biggest game playing from behind all day would be great to watch.

Elway needed a stout RB to win the Superbowl.. Your argument is fucking retard..
I knew that post would drag someone out and I was even being nice but now the Cowboy fanatic is really coming out. The gloves are off since the GIRLS are finally in the playoffs! Someone had to win their division. A two team race division one with a back up QB.....Or as machado would say, one hit away from losing it all. A one team race division.

Elway is known for dragging his teams to 5 Superbowls and is known for moments like THE DRIVE in the playoffs. And won a couple SB's. With a RB he was MVP of one of them, T.D. didn't do anything vs Atlanta, it was still all Elway.

ROMO hasn't lead his teams to dogshit and is known for the CHOKE's. His impressive 8-8's and blowing it in the big games will go far towards the HOF.

So, are you really telling me Romo is even close to Elway? Was I wrong?

Never mind, don't answer that. Enjoy the playoff, the NFC first Round is anyone's game.

Go Lions! But I wished Dallas was playing the Hawks.

So are they going to make a big deal about Detroit stick stepping on Rodgers after last weeks Raiola's cleating. I wouldn't be surprised if Goodell makes an announcement that something has to be done about this!

He wasn't even looking at Rogers & his forward momentum along with a push from a OL made it happen. That being said, he'll get fined & probability suspended for the game next week.

It's been known that Romo will not carry a team on his back. Well, he has and we see how that works. Now, there is a running game.

No, Romo isn't close to Elway. That's where the retard came from. YOu can't compare the two.

Romo is still a top 5 qb in the NFL. And, has been. Yeah, he chokes, no doubt. Makes the same damn mistakes a rook makes. But, he also has kept this team, with worse players in games. Putting too much on his shoulders and he gets bad.. Real bad. LOL.

This year, not so much, he is having a great year and we have all seen what this team is like when he isn't in there. He is valuable for Dallas. Would I like to see a QB in there that is like a Brady? Hell fucking yah. But, this is what Dallas is gonna run with. THis is the best team Romo has had around him since he has been here. It's their best shot. I don't think they advance past the first round either BTW.. I do think they can squeak by Detroit. If Dallas plays like they have the past 4 weeks, then, Detroit's game could be a stepping stone.

Still, Green Bay? Seahawks? Don't like Dallas's chances..

Save your fucking Cowboys fanactic bullshit for that other homer in here..

Romo and the Cowboys have at least exorcised the December demons this year. And, I am happy about that. It is also a good feeling to be able to watch a meaningful game in January. At least one.

I know the Lions are technically still in the playoffs, but really! So my 2015 season wish list. Get rid of Suh, I love the guy but I am tired of hearing about him and Raiola who also needs to go. Add in Reggie Bush and Lombardi to that list. See if Seattle is seriously willing to trade Marshawn Lynch.
