You are wrong. He had all eyes on him a few weeks ago, Sunday night, at Philly. He excelled. That's just the most recent time. Pay attention.
What's his record when it's coming down to the end of the regular season and it's win and go to the playoffs lose season over? What's his playoff record? How many conference championships has he won? How many SB's has he won or appeared in?

You Romo defenders have gotten real mouthy all of a sudden off of one good season. Give me a fucking break before this season when Romo's name came up it was always talking about being a choke artist.

I'll be glad when they get beat and they will in the playoffs then you fuckers can STFU.

Sounds like the majority of fans at this game are from Cincy. What's up with that?

Your ears are deceiving you. The Bengals can't sell out home playoff games, much less have any fans travel to see them.

Marvin Lewis and Andy Dalton did their annual charity playoff gig. Today was a like a bye-week for the Colts, only better because they got to practice for the Broncos by beating on the Bengals.

Mike Brown will remind fans that Marvin pulled this team out of their 90s funk and has been to the playoffs 6 times and say "no way, I don't believe in firing people." Watch and see.

He also signed a contract extension through next season. Don't know how much that will play into it but yeah, when Brown being involved in this, I doubt any changes will come.

A couple of guru Bengals fans have suggested that when push comes to shove - a 6th opening round playoff loss and 4th consecutive may be just that - that Marvin would have a front office job. He has drafted very well and attracted top flight FAs. However, his playoff record, his primetime record, and his record against opponents with winning records, is bottom of the barrel. Put Marvin upstairs in an office and hand to team to Rex Ryan.

I'm admittedly not a huge NFL fan but I'm not sure how anyone would want to hire Ryan.

Isn't he supposed to be running the state of NJ?
And when/if he announces he is running for president,
we know where the majority of his money is coming
from.

I was unable to watch this game.

What was the officiating chicanery?

Good for the cowboys. They win. Still, fuck them. Hopefully they lose next week.

Yahoo! Sports:
Conspiracy theorists had their smoking gun in the fourth quarter of the Dallas Cowboys-Detroit Lions playoff game on Sunday.

You rarely see an officiating crew pick up a flag as late as the Cowboys-Lions crew did on the most controversial play of wild-card weekend. On third down, Matthew Stafford threw to Brandon Pettigrew, who was covered by linebacker Anthony Hitchens. Hitchens never turned around, face-guarding Pettigrew, and that combined with some contact drew a flag for pass interference.

But the Lions went from thinking they had a crucial first down to facing a fourth-and-1. That's because the officials reversed the call, saying Hitchens made a clean play. There was no pass interference. The Lions unsuccessfully tried to draw the Cowboys offsides afterward, took a delay of game penalty, shanked a punt, and the Cowboys marched down for a go-ahead 8-yard touchdown pass from Tony Romo to Terrance Williams with 2:32 remaining.

The non-call changed the entire game. The Cowboys (who, conspiracy theorists will note, are an enormous television draw for the NFL) held on to win 24-20. Most NFL fans hate the Cowboys, and did they ever hate that the pass interference wasn't called.

Mike Pereira, the well-respected former vice president of officiating in the NFL, was in the booth for Fox’s broadcast and said he thought it was pass interference and wrong of the officials to reverse the call.

I guess to much money was on the line, or were they worried that the Lions might actually be able to beat Seattle and ruin the big games latter.
