Interesting facts:
Luck is 12-0 in repeat games.
Adam Vinatieri is 6-0 in AFC Championship games. Could possibly be going to his 7th Super Bowl.
Brady is 9-8 in playoffs vs. teams played the second time. (39-17 overall)
Every playoff loss has come against teams faced earlier, half of them to the SB winners.

Ahhh, football.

Go (not home) Pats!

Brady has not played 56 playoff games.

He is 19-8.

Halftime - Green Bay 16 Seattle 0 - any thoughts on the second half?

I debated all yesterday on making the run to the casino and take the point spread, then I thought I'd wake up early but of course that didn't happen either.
I mentioned The Pack needed turnover TD's instead of those FG's and if they built up a lead Seattle would have a game on their hands. This game is far from over, Seattle will comeback if Rodgers don't put it in the endzone. Seattle is one big play or drive from a momentum swing.

UtahRatt wrote:Seattle vs Packers - Do the Packers have a chance? Any predictions?

I hope he's halfway healthy, I look forward to Rodgers against that Monster D. Clearly Lacy will be bottled up but if he breaks 100+ it could be the difference. What's the Packer game plan....Load the box, force Russell to beat you with his arm and stick to the run as long as you can. Russell don't have many targets and the Packers are fair against the pass. Sam Shields, Clay Matthews could have a good day.

I like the Packers CB's vs Seattle's WR's and possibly putting pressure on Russ.

I like Seattle against the pack in about every other aspect. Unless the Pack build a lead in the 2nd half.

Hard to see the Hawks losing. It's could be a game of FG's for Green Bay, if so they lose. If the Hawks don't dominate........

Hawks 27 Packers 17
upset:
Packers 27 Hawks 13

Hope I'm wrong.

I think New England will handle the Colts alright.

The more I think about it the more I simply agree with that.

Sure it's the playoffs and anything can happen but going according to plan Seattle should steamroll the Pack. Green Bay is gonna need some turn overs, special teams or big plays.

Green Bay 19 Seattle 7

Into the the 4th and GB kicked yet another FG....

And Sherman's got a hang nail!

* Edit. Must be kind of nice to have a 3rd n 6 and you just give it to Lynch. He could carry a Ford Truck 10 yards.

Great fucking game.......14 -19 at 2:00 and Seattle gets the ONSIDES KICK!

***TD Lynch! 1:25 left........lol. The blind throw and no effort by the DB converts the 2 point conversion.

Seattle 22
Packers 19

HAHAHA.......

**** Rodgers brings them back for the TIE! Maybe it's me but the last 10 minutes of the game the Packers called all the wrong plays while Seattle woke the fuck up.

Seattle 22
Packers 22

*as I type that......TD Seattle....

Good games. I'm so pissed about missing the bet.

The packers did everything wrong and Seattle did everything right in the last 10 minutes. Knew it was gonna take Turn Overs but Kicking FG's wasn't going to beat Seattle.

Good Game Hawks, beautiful comeback.

Packers going prevent defense in the last 5 minutes and trying to run out the clock on their 2nd to last possession was fucking stupid. Didn't they win last week by getting the first down and running out the clock?

Seattle deserved this win, Their D holding the Pack to punts and FG's after all those Turn Overs just shows how mean they are. Seattle's offense did everything to lose this game and they still won. It's a more impressive win then just blowing the Pack out.

There was no reason for that 2 point conversion completion. WTF!!! The Seahawks defence came up big all day long or the Packs lack of be able to get a TD when everything was going there way. Wilson was impressive in the 4th, he just seemed to wake up and it seemed Rodgers gave up. For fuck sakes it almost happened....

Same here. Watching Brady go against that secondary would be great. Aaaaaaand if he were to win and look good doing it, well that should finally put an end to the Manning/Brady debate.
Looks like we're about 18 minutes away from seeing our wish granted.

For the record, I'm still cleaning the couch after losing all bladder and bowel control in the final 4 minutes of the NFC Championship game. Holy fucking shit.

Better be hoping for a healthy Thomas and Sherman. That could be problematic.

What the fuck are you talking about? The Seahawks needed that 3 point lead or Green Bay would of won with that last field goal.

That was a great fuckin game. I couldn't believe how the pack was playing but to many FG's and not enough TD's was their downfall. This gives me hope that the SB might actually be a good game unlike last year's beat down.

You are critical of the 2 point conversion? Maybe you should stick to coaching your
XBOX team that you created. Every NFL coach would have gone for 2 points in that situation.

I think the dude meant that there was no reason that the two point conversion worked. Wilson just chucked it straight up and it miraculously fell to Willson.

He was talking about the Packers DB who gave up on the play thinking RUSS was contained, going down on the other side of the field. When RUSS tossed that ROMO prayer the DB's made ZERO effort to bat the ball down. Even the announcers were saying WTF, the defender gave up on the play............That's how I look at the entire Packers team the last ten minutes.

Any effort at all from either DB and that 2point conversion fails.

The dude meant it shouldn't have happened.

There were two defenders in the area, one totally gave up on the play the other was half way walking with his cover guy. Any effort and it's easily blocked. It's like he figured RUSS was contained or going down but in either case the dumbass was walking across the endzone like the play was over not even paying attention.

Like I said above the announcers said it best, something like "I don't know what that defender was thinking"

Not to take away from the Hawks because their WR didn't give up, Russ didn't give up, they made it happen.
