I don't see that from him. He's a work out demon and loves the game. Sad to see him go, but that contract is going to handcuff the Fins.
I don't think he'll pull a haynesworth either, everyone in the media has been openly discussing that subject and I think if anything Suh will go out of his way to prove them wrong. They did over pay but at least it'll be fun watching those O-lines double team Suh or wake and open things up for starks and Vernon. the addition of Suh will make Miami more attractive to other FA's as well maybe older guys like Wayne and Johnson.
Revis isn't going to have his option picked up by the Pats. Nice "rental" move by The Hoodie.
Seeing Patrick Willis retiring is quite shocking for being only 30. Honestly, more guys for their long term lively hood need to start hanging it up earlier. Polamalu is going to be sitting in a dark room for years to come after having his brains scrambled on end for 12 years.
Jimmy Graham and a 4th round pick going to Seattle in return for Max Unger and a 1st round pick.
Haloti Ngata going to the Lions?

The Eagles trading Foles to the Rams for Bradford. They just resigned Sanchez. I'm not seeing this lead to Mariota because that's a lot of money to be paying your quarterbacks.

That one fucked me up. I knew the Saints had to come up with some salary cap relief, but I never thought they'd trade Graham after resigning him last year. However, I can't really bitch about the upgrade on the o-line and the extra 1st rounder.

This will be Chip Kelly's last year. He thinks like a college coach I.E. all I need to do is get the right guys to run my system.
Not in the NFL. You don't run that much talent off without having to face the music.
Chip Kelly- started out looking like a Jimmy Johnson genius but is gonna end up exposed as a Steve Spurrier moron.
You aren't gonna win bringing in all of your old college cronies and getting rid of all of your NFL vets who are in their prime. Doesn't work that way.
He's definitely rolling the dice on some injury riddled guys.
Oh, and they are in serious talks with DeMarco Murray AFTER signing Ryan Matthews earlier today. Chip says in his presser that they are absolutely NOT going after Mariota. I have no goddamn idea what his end game is. Either he comes out looking absolutely brilliant or he's going to get run out of town.
The one thing that's fun about this is watching the Philly blog/twittersphere absolutely implode.

How far is Sanchez going to lead them though? I'm not saying Bradford because he will get hurt. It's a given.

About as far as he did last year. Sanchez is serviceable as long as he doesn't lose the game for you with a horrible pick. With Maclin leaving you can see that Kelly is going to rely a lot on the TE and a guy like Sproles catching balls out of the backfield rather than the home run ball. Sanchez CAN run that offense.
Two things that the Eagles DID rectify already: They made their defense a lot better with some work still left to be done. They also greatly improved their goal line run game with Matthews coming in and also realizing that Chris Polk can get you those points. I love McCoy but he lost a lot of yards with his happy feet.

Mathews is great if you can get more than eight games out of him.

Couldn't the same thing be said for SF?
Sure.
I'm not sure anybody views SF's offseason as anything other than a disaster so far.
Yep the only difference is in SF it's the front office/ownership that is bringing the team down.
That horse shit that the owner did apoligizing to the fans after one of their games last year saying that's not 49er football was crazy talk.
Ever since Debartolo had to give them up they hadn't done anything of note until they got Harbaugh. They seemed to have forgotten that.
That's ok though cause much the Lakers are finding out right now they too will soon realize the league doesn't revolve around them either just because of some old history they might have.
Man, the fuckin 49ers are turning into Nu Guns N Roses. Will be interesting to see how this plays out. I kind of hope it bites the owners in the ass. What they did to Harbaugh really pissed me off. And it sucks about Willis retiring. I was a fan of the 49ers and The Pats but I may have to root for Green Bay this time around. Interested to see how The Colts do with Frank Gore.

If I was Trent Richardson I'd be preparing for life after the NFL. I'd be surprised if they keep him.
I wrote the above quote at 7:01 this morning and now let's look at the news.
The Indianapolis Colts announced Thursday that they have waived running back Trent Richardson.
Richardson missed the AFC Championship Game after the Colts suspended him for not telling the team he would be missing a walk-through. He was also set to be suspended for one game next season.
Indianapolis was reportedly frustrated with Richardson due to his accessibility to the team and because he reportedly gained approximately 15 pounds during the season.
It was later reported that the suspension could potentially could allow the Colts to void the final season of Richardson's contract without paying him the $3.184 million in guaranteed money he was set to earn.
Richardson began the season as the Colts' starter but averaged just 3.3 yards per carry over 15 games and saw his role diminish later in the regular season, with Boom Herron seeing an increased workload. He did not play in Indianapolis' divisional round playoff win over the Denver Broncos.
What team's free agency shopping did you like best?
I think the Seahawks really hit a home run with getting the Saints TE Jimmy Graham.
That combined with them keeping Lynch is going to make their offense even better than last year.
Waiting to see how the health of their defense looks after last years run but if they look good I wouldn't have a problem with calling them the early SB favorites.
