Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
SmackDown has been the stronger of the two "A-Shows" for a long time now and I guess the credit has to go to Michael Hayes for that. You can just see the difference between a former wrestler (Hayes on SmackDown) and an outsider (Gewirtz on RAW) when it comes to booking.
SmackDown hasn't been this strong since Heyman was booking it and had the SmackDown 6...

Just got done interviewing Sharmell,Homicide and Matt Morgan for upcoming editions of Monday Night Mayhem. Let's just say I have a good idea of who will be winning the upcoming Matt Morgan/AJ Styles best of 3 series with the winner to go on to the August TNA PPV to be in a 3-way with Sting and Kurt Angle for the title.

Smackdown is definitely the stronger product at this point, and to be completely honest, if someone would shoot "Abraham Washington" in his big goofy head, ECW would be more watchable than RAW as well.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
The latest issue of the Pro Wrestling Torch is reporting that last month’s TNA pay-per-view, Slammiversary, was only ordered by 7,000 people. While the number has not been confirmed, the Torch is reporting that there are reports floating around saying Slammiversary drew that particular number.
If the report is indeed true, the low-end fraction of TNA’s viewership that purchased last month’s pay-per-view would be 1 in 214 Impact viewers as the show typically draws over 1.5 million viewers on a weekly basis. The show was headlined by Kurt Angle vs. Mick Foley vs. Jeff Jarrett vs. AJ Styles vs.Samoa Joe in a King of the Mountain match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

And as far as Punk and Morrison, even though they may be my 2 favourite current wrestlers, other than their feud with each other a few years ago, what else could they use to fill up a 2 hour DVD, unless it is all matches.

I'd love a Honkey Tonk Man 3 disc set, he was awesome with that gimmick. A Rick Rude one would be cool too.Garbageman wrote:Maybe if TNA's storylines were as good on the air as they are behind the scenes...

Out of the above Im all for the Clash and War Games dvd sets. Kind of funny though, Vince has refused to ever do a War Games match in the WWE simply because it wasn't his creation. I'd also like some sort of Halloween Havoc dvd set. They just need to release as much old shit as possible, like the recent Saturday Night Main Event DVD. That shit is always what they sell most of, just release it all already!
A Brock set would be cool, but I can't picture that because Vince doesn't like to promote competitors in another organization. Same with Sting, I guess Vince has shot down Sting dvd's for years, but it will eventually come out when he stops working for TNA.

Awesome! XPW lives! From doing our radio show, I have so many XPW DVDs and as much as G-man hates them, the best thing is when Kriss Kloss and Larry Riviera get excited and start screaming. Now, since Rob Black is not involved, I guess XPW just does shows once a blue moon and makes their money by selling them on DVD through Big Vision. I like XPW and don't buy these (well, cause I get them free-TYPICAL JEW) so I wonder how many of these they will sell?

Hey AJ how the hell did you manage to get Hulk on your radio show that time? And you haven't talked to him since have you?
Man he needs to come back for one more run, he's been putting over TNA recently which he always does whenever he wants to go back to the WWE so I think it will be by next years WM. I think he should take the rest of the year off, get it better shape and one more run next year. I think him vs Cena would be great, they would play off each other well and the heat would be off the charts similar to Hulk/Rock. It was actually close to happening this year too! It's weird I follow wrestling and know whats going on, but I really don't watch it unless Hulk comes back!

You should check out one of those DVDs I listed above,Monty. Punk for a long time had a gimmick in ROH where he would talk about how him being StraightEdge means he is better than you. It was great and I saw him at alot of ROH shows back then. But yes, this version of Punk is getting closer to his gimmick in ROH.Monty610 wrote:CM Punk's promo last night was awesome. AJ, thanks for the info. I plan on checking out one or more of those DVD’s. I’ve been meaning to anyway since I’m a fairly big CM Punk mark. I’m really liking him as a heel much more so than as a face.
And holy fuck…I didn’t know Dixie Carter was HOT!!! Your buddy looks like he’s holding back from touching her boob!

So who do you guys think will be Jericho's mystery partner tonight? I'm hoping for Christian because I've always preferred him as a heel and it would be cool to see "Vitamin C" reunited. But if they actually attempt to give a young guy a rub, maybe Jack Swagger or a returning Chris Masters?
And shit, Dixie Carter is hotter than most of the Knockouts in TNA!
