Goddammit! I don't watch wrestling anymore, but I used to love Sean O'Haire! I'm calling OD or heart attack. Just sucks ass.

Yeah, I thought for sure he would have been a huge star. Ended up as a hairdresser.ParaDime77 wrote:That sucks. Dude had the right look and moves to be a bigger star than what he was.That-guy wrote:Just read that Sean O'Haire is dead. 43 years old.

Former WCW tag champion Sean O'Haire reportedly died of suicide at the age of 43.
According to TMZ, O'Haire was found hanging in his bedroom. He was discovered by his father, who called 911 after finding O'Haire "with a red rope tied around his neck and connected to the bedpost."
Foul play was not suspected and the coroner in Spartanburg, S.C. is awaiting a toxicology report to determine what was in O'Haire's system at the time of his death.
O'Haire was WCW tag champion in the early 2000s before transitioning to WWE when WCW was bought out. O'Haire last wrestled for WWE in 2004.

WWE just outdid themselves in absolutely ridiculous scouting. They want to hire Tim Wiese, discarded former German national soccer replacement goalkeeper. The guy is such a tremendous douche, I can actually see him succeed - and totally suck WWE style, of course.

I hear The Rock showed up on Raw. Is he back for a while, or was it a one time thing?

Man, this place is dead. I've seen this thread go through some droughts but these last 6 months or so may be the worst it's been.
Anyway, anyone watch Hell In A Cell?
I fell asleep during some of it, woke up and watched the rest. I wasn't exactly blown away by anything.
The Wyatt/Ambrose Feud should be awesome, at least in promos if nothing else.

The ending seems to be causing the most Internet fighting right now.Kid-Wicked wrote:forgot it was on. what were the highlights?
After a long feud with Rollins & Ambrose and arguably the best match of the night, it ended with Rollins winning due to outside interference…by Bray Wyatt and a hologram…
Damien Sandow is hilarious even if he's always put into stupid situations.
No title changes.
And if you couldn't guess…Cena won the #1 Contender's shot at Lesnar again.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
The thread is dead because wrestling has never been more boring.
TNA is dying a slow death and WWE is sleepwalking.
All they care about is "9.99"ing us to death, but how are you supposed to sell the network when all of your programming is dull as all hell?
I've been a wrestling nerd since I was 8 years old, but I barely watch at all anymore. I read the results so I know what few things to look for on YouTube and that's about it.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
I can identify. I was a fan back in the 80's and remained one until last year. 2013's WrestleMania was the most boring thing I've ever paid to see and if I never see John Cena again, I'll be just fine. I absolutely can't stand the way they're shoved this moron to the top of the card and won't give those of us who hate him a break. I haven't watched a full episode of any wrestling related program since that WM, and I honestly haven't missed it much. Every now and then, I'll tune in and every time, it's the John Cena show.Lardbucket wrote:The thread is dead because wrestling has never been more boring.

Really disappointed fuckin Cena won.... AGAIN.. So sick of that guy.
Wonder what the angle is on Wyatt coming in and taking out Ambrose.

Having Wyatt run in at the end just shit all over what was a real entertaining HIAC match.
I like the network and all but if I had spent regular PPV dollars on that last night I'd be real pissed off.

The network has devalued pay-per-views. They're just another show now, so WWE feels no need to make them any better than Raw or Smackdown. It's almost to the point where anything worth watching is an accident. There are no storylines to care about at all, and if something or someone should happen to get over, they get thrown down the card and/or jobbed out like crazy.

I think they're propping Rusev up for a eventual run against Cena, who will have the "10 pounds of gold" by then.

I hadn't watched WWE in forever and the only shit I liked was Jon Moxley. Rusev could have been awesome if they didn't bill him as a Russian from Bulgaria. Seriously? As if still doing this mind-numbingly retarded cold war shit wasn't terrible enough in itself they make sure to prove they don't even remember the Soviet Union or never saw a map of Europe. That's such low-level stereotyping I can't believe it's not ironic. Lana might be the hottest bitch they've ever had, though.

Definitely agree on the PPV's.. Way, way too many.. Should have the 3 a year... RR, Survivor Series, Mania.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Anybody check out Lucha Underground yet? Reminds me of that annoying Wrestling Society X show on MTV with more of a Hollywood angle. A few mainstream guys like Johnny Nitro, Chavo and Hernandez with some amazing Indy talent like Ricochet or Matt Cross and a couple of other familiar faces like Vampiro and Konnan. Kind of cheesy, but sure beats WWE.
