You’re right, what if a sequence of corporate sell/buys led to the true downfall of WWE as we know it. Absorb the whole back wrestling catalog plus licensing then shit the works down and fuck everything else. Next move is everyone paying to watch the library. Only my guess....

A lot of people right now are claiming they have, but it's all just rumors and speculation at the moment, and at least one other guy has presented the scenario of keeping WWE with the McMahon family. I'd say the rumors are mainly leading up to that NJPW partnership, if anything.
