A few interesting NXT call-ups tonight including Raquel and Gunther. Taking bets now as to how long it takes for Vince to absolutely bury them in favor of the same 3-4 main eventers like Roman Reigns. It feels like Pete Dunne-er, Butch is already getting buried undercard-style by losing in his debut match.

Gunther will summer the same fate Vladimir Kozlov did. Doing keystone cop bits for belly laughs.

That’s what I’m afraid of. He should be getting main event title pushes as a monster heel, not comedy. Leave the comedy to the 24/7 title storyline with R-Truth, Reggie, and Co.

This thread has been kinda dead lately, but AEW just sold out the United Center again. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get tickets this time. Sucks, but good for them.

As noted earlier on PWInsider.com, WWE Hall of Famer Tammy Sytch was arrested this evening in Florida in relation to the 3/25 traffic fatality in Ormond Beach, Florida. Sytch is currently being processed into Volusia County Branch Jail in Daytona Beach.
She is currently being charged with nine charges, including DUI causing the death of a person aka DUI Manslaughter, Driving with a suspended or revoked license (causing death or serious injury) and seven counts of DUI causing damage to a person or property.

I don’t understand why WWE couldn’t just split up that overbooked mess of a 6-man tag match into the originally planned tag team title unification match and a Roman/Drew one-on-one. Maybe Vince knows something I don’t?

makes no sense. the match itself was ok. but what the fuck? why? and why tease shinske? rather see him go after roman than drew.

It’s the start of Roman vs Drew feud that Drew will eventually take the Raw belt at SummerSlam or that Clash at Castle thing

I never thought i could ever Boo Lacy Evens before. She was so awesome at that southern bell girl. Now her sad story makes me hate her..booing her live will be fun..i hope I get on camera doing this

The reaction with Ripley with Edge was special. They gave the wwe audience what they wanted…this could be best Edge ever
Be great to see Seth beat that AEW reject in Hell In A Cell..Cody isn’t that over with the WWE audience..nothing near Mania hype…but Mania has good amount of internet dorks at the shows

Seeing a WWE peacock event in an arena was weird..Rumble Saudi and 2 nights of Mania in stadiums
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

Ric Flair is returning to the ring for what is labeled as his final match. The show is billed as “Jim Crockett Promotions Presents: Ric Flair’s Last Match” and will be held on Sunday, July 31 in Nashville, Tennessee at the Nashville Fairgrounds. “I’m going to walk that aisle, one last time to prove once and for all, that to be the Man, you’ve got to beat the Man,” Flair stated in a press release at Starrcast.com. The event will be streamed live on FITE TV, and tickets go on sale on May 27.

I saw a clip of him training with Jay Lethal. He looked like Ric Flair, only much slower. He really shouldn’t do this.

assuming this actually happens i would think it's gonna be a tag team when he gets in the ring for a few chops, one bump and a figure 4 for the win. he won't be in the ring for more than 6-7 mins other than intro and celebratory WOOs.

One rumor going around is Flair teaming with FTR against the Rock & Roll Express with Ricky Steamboat. Steamboat has supposedly been training also so it could be Flair vs Steamboat at the PPV.

For those who are asking (and there are a LOT of you), we are told MJF is still in Las Vegas as of this writing, which would mean he did not fly back to the East Coast, which until an hour or so ago remained a possibility.

For those who are asking if the situation is a work, that is a big NO, but obviously everything can be retroactively converted into one if everyone gets on the same page.

Melanie Pillman passed away

Brian Jr. made the following announcement on his social media:

Yesterday at approximately 1:00pm my mother, Melanie Pillman, was pronounced dead.

Those of you who know our family story understand that I didn’t have the best relationship with my mother, though my sister and I had recently been in touch with her, working to improve that relationship.

While I didn’t spend too much time with her, she would ALWAYS tune into my twitch streams and interact with my fans, often times sharing with them old stories about my father and the wrestling business. She had been helping out my sister with her son Asher by purchasing him baby clothes, and was on relatively good terms with everyone as of late.

Her death, while unexpected, was not surprising. Her lifestyle choices that dominated the better part of the last 25 years of her life had ultimately caught up with her.

She was as intelligent as she was beautiful and her dark sense of humor could make even the biggest prude burst out in laughter.

Although I had my built up resentment towards her, I was very proud of her for taking part in the DSOTR documentary and sharing the truth about our family story. That was the beginning of us mending our relationship.

I do have regrets. I regret not giving her the time of day when she was trying so hard to be in our lives again. I regret not texting her back even though I had the time to. I regret not trying harder to break her of her bad habits and help her get the help she needed.

A couple weeks ago she had been tuning into my twitch stream when she told me in chat that she was coming over to Linda’s house to drop off some trading cards. I didn’t see it in chat so I was annoyed at her for showing up un-announced. I met her outside and accepted the gift and gave her a hug and she went on her way. I truly regret not sitting down with her for a little bit or going to grab lunch with her. I regret being upset with her simply because she wanted to see her son. She actually looked really healthy and sober. That was the last time I saw her.

Thank you mom for bringing me into this world and for trying your absolute best. You were my number 1 fan in wrestling and on Twitch.

Rest In Peace. I love you

Thoughts on Cody wrestling with that torn pec? Brave or stupid? Guess that means no Roman/Cody main event anytime soon.

when you tear a muscle or a ligament it's torn. you can't do any more damage to it. surprised at the length of the match though. he's a warrior.

didn't see the turn on edge coming until priest started talking. weird swerve. i thought finn was going to blast all of them. almost looks like edge is leaving the company. weird.

Paige is (soon to be ) All Elite

Paige here! July 7th will be the last day with WWE. I’m so thankful and I appreciate the opportunities that the company has given me.

I will always be appreciative of the company that took in an 18 year old British pale emo girl that didn’t look like your average diva, giving me a chance of a lifetime and making me feel like a superstar.

I know after my neck injury taking me out of in-ring status, it was pretty hard to keep me around as long as you did and for that I’m thankful too.

Thank you to the WWE Universe. You guys are the most passionate group of fans I have ever seen. Hope you continue to stay on this journey with me.

I think the toughest part, weirdly enough, is letting the Paige name go. But Saraya is a helluva name. Kudos to my mum for that one.

FYI, I’m not saying I’ll never be in the ring. That day will most certainly come again! Wherever the return maybe.
