Brett Lawrie is a complete and utter douchebag, but that really is a bunch of ridiculousness on K.C.'s part. When Lawrie looks like the cool one who's taken the high road...

Dodgers - 7 game win streak goes from worst to first after sweeping the Mariners and Rockies....No King vs Kershaw
Kemp still slugging it out in SD, leading or in the top couple in most every stat. Hitting .368
Puig has a vaginal itch, hitting .267
LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig was out of the lineup again on Sunday because of left hamstring soreness, but manager Don Mattingly said he still believes the injury is not serious.
I've got money Kemp is a lot more of a player then Puig this season including Kemp playing more games.
The FISH are in last place.......They will make a run, oh yes, they will.

Major League Baseball suspended Royals reliever Kelvin Herrera five games and fined him
"I don't mean to hurt anybody," Herrera said. "Just trying to throw inside, but a bad grip on that fastball. It started raining pretty good. And they just tossed me out."
Herrera avoids trouble because MLB is unable to hand down a suspension that is worthy of his actions.
5 games and a fine. Big deal. Would Herrera have received a 7 game suspension if the pitch hit Lawrie in the head?

Cool play from Maxwell ( who powered SF to a win ) and an atypical reaction from Puig.
I imagine Jose Bautista is not someone you want to piss off.

I've mentioned this before, but I used to be friends with this guy from Dallas/FW who is a diehard Rangers fan. He was lived when Texas didn't resign Nathan. Going off on how "they never spend money on relievers, etc." Wonder how he feels now.Machado wrote:More like career is over. What a blow for Detroit. They, like Washington looked unstoppable on paper.

Nathan brought nothing to the table this year. Horrible in the preseason and unreliable last year.killeverything wrote:I've mentioned this before, but I used to be friends with this guy from Dallas/FW who is a diehard Rangers fan. The NY Mets are on a 11 game winning streak, which is the longest in franchise history.

Their heart was broken last year. I look at the Royals like that crazy ex that keeps calling and texting. "Give me another chance!" That team's actions amuse me. It's both funny and pathetic.
There's reports going around that Josh Hamilton will be gone from the Angels in a matter of days.

Jeff Samardhd7ehdhs8dhsg suspended 5 games.
Yordano Ventura suspended 7 games.
Ben Zobrist has a meniscus tear on 15 day DL. Surgery possible.
Rangers reportedly won't send any players to LAAA in potential Hamilton deal.
Dusty Baker realizes he hasn't fucked up enough teams and wants to manage again.

Adrian Beltre sends Garrett Richards invoice for three broken bats.
Garrett Richards displayed his Cy Young contender stuff during a win Friday against the Texas Rangers in just his second start of the season. The 26-year-old went seven strong innings allowing just three hits, three walks,
and two runs in the Angels’ 3-2 win. One of his highlights was holding Rangers cleanup hitter Adrian Beltre to an 0-for-3 day.
But Richards didn’t just get Beltre out Friday; he broke the third baseman’s bat all three times they faced each other.
The Rangers All-Star sent Richards an invoice Saturday for the three broken bats. The OC Register’s Pedro Moura says the invoice was official looking -- like the kind you would receive from a store -- and included the words, “Cash only, no checks,” above Beltre’s signature.
Richards apparently loved it. And why wouldn’t he? That’s a high compliment from one of the better hitters in the league. He responded by sending Beltre back an autographed bat.

Dodger Douchebag Yasiel Puig placed on 15 day DL.
Re: Killeverything's (New)NeverEndingBaseballThread
I think I already mentioned Puigy would spend more time on the DL then Kemp this year including Kemp having better numbers. We're off to a good start! I wished they traded Puigy and kept Kemp.....Anyone have the GM's number, I wonder if the Padres would even be up for a trade.killeverything wrote:Dodger Douchebag Yasiel Puig placed on 15 day DL.

The details are still being finalized but should be announced today. Arte Moreno is taking a bath, both financially and in terms of PR, because of this. He was the driving force behind signing both Hamilton and Pujols and now he's paying dearly to get rid of Hamilton.

Visited Petco Park for the first time over the weekend. Beautiful park. Reminds me a lot of AT&T Park.
Pads vs Dodgers. A lot of "raza" in the park. Dodger fans are either the most obnoxious fans on the west coast or the dumbest. Very difficult to decide which offense they are most guilty of.

Angels officially trade Josh Hamilton to Rangers for cash considerations. Hamilton reportedly vetoed trades to other teams. Only wanted to play for Texas.

The Angels are eating all but about 7 million of the 83 million bucks Hamilton is owed.
They really wanted him gone. This is very low-risk for Texas.

Re: Killeverything's (New)NeverEndingBaseballThread
How does Artie Moreno keep his job? His mistake with Hamilton is probably the worst acquisition in the history of the game. Was well known that Hamilton was a huge risk because of drugs and the team still gave him tens of millions of dollars. And some of you think Cashman is a bad GM?Lardbucket wrote:The Angels are eating all but about 7 million of the 83 million bucks Hamilton is owed.
