It's not only that they suck, but now the effort is gone too.

I'm blaming how they treated Al Montoya having something to do with the effort. The team starts outs 3-1. Montoya was 2-1 at that point with a GAA under 2. He has one subpar game, and they use that as an excuse to play DiGlass and Nabokov who didn't even want to be there last year so they can trade Nabby. I think he has one start since then and now is somehow hurt even though nobody knows how he got hurt, and last night we are starting our 2nd string AHL goalie instead of Glass who is the second highest paid player on the team. How do they justify treating Montoya like that? Sounds to me like the coach isn't calling teh shots, and we have no chance with the two goalies we had last night, and the team knows that too.

Capuano needs to go yesterday. The guy is constantly outcoached and it's obvious the team isn't playing for him. Bring in somebody like Keenan for the short term. He'll need to be fired within a year and half, but a good ass kicker for 3/4 of the season. Hitchcock was available. Lemaire. That lineup could be sniffing around the 8 spot with a couple of moves and they need to be now if they want to exist much longer. A season that is at least watchable might help. The moving trucks from Quebec City are heading south.

I think Keenan would consider the job in favor of working Rangers telecasts. He'll turn on Snow as soon as the team starts winning. That might not be a bad thing.

If they would've traded him for a 4th round pick, you would say they don;t care about winning. The Isles have not scored a goal with Comeau on the ice this year, but have given up 11 goals when he's on the ice.
