Ottawa is a mess this season. No wonder Karlsson wants to leave. Sounds like Vegas almost got him.

I would LOVE for the Devils to get Karlsson.

Hard to see the Pens winning the cup again this year, so I'm going to say either the Bolts or the Preds, but you never know...

Go Vegas!

Vegas sweep the Kings! Why do I keep underestimating the Golden Knights.

Go Gallant, Smith, and Marchessault! Hope they win it all. 8)

I know. Me too. I had a hot Kings team down the stretch winning that series. Not even close!

Gotta give Gallant credit. The team had favourable expansion rules, but not THAT favourable. Coach is getting 100 cents on the dollar and more from these guys.

Habs have not been the same since Gallant left their coaching staff, nor the Panthers.

while I'm pretty happy the Knights won that series and I'd be quite happy if they won it all, that was the closest series of them all with (2) 1-0 games, an OT win and a 3-2 win...gotta hand it to them though, they are pulling off one hell of a run.

Actually the new coach Bob Boughner looks good for the Panthers. He took half a season to settle, but the second half of the season, we looked good. Depending on the offseason (top 4 Dman please!), I would expect the Panthers to be in the mix for the playoffs. We were a bit unlucky this year, due to how many points we got, but still didn't make it.

I still miss Gallant though, and that we fired him was a joke. I was livid at the time as you can recall. Still, I really like Gallant, and to see him doing well makes me happy.

What are the Habs going to do to get a number 1 centre btw! Throw a boatload of money at Tavares! I can't see him joining the Habs though.

Yeah, Quicks save percentage was ridiculous. If you just looked at the stats, you would think he had been the goaltender on the winning team of a sweep!

Yeah, this round has been pretty weak so far imo. Sure, Vegas is a good story. But this has been the weakest 1st round for a while. Maybe I'm just bitter because I reckon Pittsburgh will win it yet again.

I'm a Pens fan. I don't see them winning it again this year, unless a lot of luck goes their way and Boston or Tampa shit the bed in the 3rd round.

Pittsburgh are out. 8)

Good for the Caps and Ovi. The amount of criticism Ovi has got over the years for his playoff performance has been ridiculous.

He choked, choked and choked again. Given it wasn't always his fault the Capitals couldn't ever make it out of the second round.

I keep underestimating Vegas, but I think this is where their run ends unfortunately. Winnipeg in 7.

I have Tampa taking Washington out in 6 games.

I haven't even thought about how we will do against Vegas yet. I am still getting over the huge win against Nashville!

Atlanta had 2 shots at having an NHL team, I always did love the Thrashers jersey though...
