First time Canucks made it to the 2nd round since 2011. Shame Covid is happening, because it would be a lot of fun watching games in bars atm.

Lets see what tomorrow brings. I personally am not a fan of mixing sports and politics , but i guess these are some strange times. If all the major leagues are taking a stand as a unified front, then maybe it will resonate .

Don't worry, the racism issue will be fixed by Saturday when they resume games.

Lightning are pretty banged up right now. Point, arguably their MVP is hurting. if Tampa was healthy I would definitely choose them. However, I'm leaning towards the Stars.

Bolts still have Kucherov, so maybe he can pull something off for 'em.

They still have Hedman as well. Arguably the best defenseman in the game, and he has been a beast these playoffs. But their centre depth due to injuries is stretched to say the least.

And they lost the first game 4-1.

We shall see how the series plays out, but I have Dallas winning in 6.

I'm not sure that's true. It looks like the finals does between 3 and 9 million viewers in Canada.

Tompa math

USA 340 million people..100 million saw SuperBowl
Canada 38 million people 9 million saw Stanley Cup

So that’s 29% USA vs 24% Canada..SuperBowl type event

Canada being forced to watch Dallas vs Tompa
What if NFL has 2 Canadian Teams one in Toronto and Vancouver..you think 100 million Americans would watch it? Nah

Absolutely. The Superbowl is more of an event than just a sporting spectacle. The teams almost don't matter, because people will watch it no matter what. Hell, a lot of people watch it just for the commercials!

I don't know why AC/DC doesn't just play it every single year. It's something we can all agree on!

Anyway, I haven't been able to watch my hockey team play since March. I'm itching to see the Devils suck it up on ice again!

I coach u15 and we got shut down for 2 weeks in November . They just extended it to Dec. 18th. I can tell you the kids are confused and frustrated by this decision. We were playing in a cohort with three teams of 12 and 2 coaches per team. So less than 50 in total in our "bubble" . There are no refs ( one coach each had to ref the games) , no fans ,closed practices , change rooms were 6 to a room no showers, 15 mins before and after. Coaches wear a mask at all time except when on the ice. It was very strict but well organized and as safe as it can get. Then they go to school which is a free for all.
