First time Canucks made it to the 2nd round since 2011. Shame Covid is happening, because it would be a lot of fun watching games in bars atm.Kid-Wicked wrote: ↑Sat Aug 22, 2020 6:16 pm anyone know where to turn to get to st loius?
is it the first round exit?

Lets see what tomorrow brings. I personally am not a fan of mixing sports and politics , but i guess these are some strange times. If all the major leagues are taking a stand as a unified front, then maybe it will resonate .theglammerthebetter wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 6:16 pm Been hating Bettman for 25+ years but finally they did somethign right today by playing the games.
Yep they folded like cheap suits no games todaykytepunches wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 10:42 amLets see what tomorrow brings. Don't worry, the racism issue will be fixed by Saturday when they resume games.theglammerthebetter wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 11:18 amYep they folded like cheap suits no games todaykytepunches wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 10:42 amLets see what tomorrow brings. Lightning are pretty banged up right now. Point, arguably their MVP is hurting. if Tampa was healthy I would definitely choose them. However, I'm leaning towards the Stars.
They still have Hedman as well. Arguably the best defenseman in the game, and he has been a beast these playoffs. But their centre depth due to injuries is stretched to say the least.dmbrocker wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 5:05 pmBolts still have Kucherov, so maybe he can pull something off for 'em.
I'm not sure that's true. It looks like the finals does between 3 and 9 million viewers in Canada.LAglamrocker wrote: ↑Tue Sep 29, 2020 6:59 pm Tompa Bay Lightning Stanley Cup Champs!!!
You like that Canada
Beach town wins the cup ha ha ha ha
All of Canada watches Finals like America does the Superbowl
Dallas vs Tompa!!!!! Ha ha ha 2 hockey destinations!!!
Yep, a lot of Canadians were happy for Tampa.LAglamrocker wrote: ↑Tue Sep 29, 2020 6:59 pm Tompa Bay Lightning Stanley Cup Champs!!!

Absolutely. The Superbowl is more of an event than just a sporting spectacle. The teams almost don't matter, because people will watch it no matter what. Hell, a lot of people watch it just for the commercials!LAglamrocker wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 3:02 pm Tompa math
USA 340 million people..100 million saw SuperBowl
Canada 38 million people 9 million saw Stanley Cup
So that’s 29% USA vs 24% Canada..SuperBowl type event
Canada being forced to watch Dallas vs Tompa
What if NFL has 2 Canadian Teams one in Toronto and Vancouver..you think 100 million Americans would watch it? Nah
Your half time show is The Weeknd . 100 million Americans watching a Canadian preform at your biggest event. How do you like that America HAHAHA.LAglamrocker wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 3:02 pm Tompa math

I don't know why AC/DC doesn't just play it every single year. It's something we can all agree on!kytepunches wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 8:50 amYour half time show is The Weeknd . 100 million Americans watching a Canadian preform at your biggest event. Anyway, I haven't been able to watch my hockey team play since March. I'm itching to see the Devils suck it up on ice again!
It's a month out at this point and you're not hearing anything but some labor disputes or whatever. I have a bad feeling, hope I'm wrong!!kytepunches wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 10:14 amThey shut down ALL hockey here . I can’t even go play men’s league. It brutally boring !! I coach u15 and we got shut down for 2 weeks in November . They just extended it to Dec. 18th. I can tell you the kids are confused and frustrated by this decision. We were playing in a cohort with three teams of 12 and 2 coaches per team. So less than 50 in total in our "bubble" . There are no refs ( one coach each had to ref the games) , no fans ,closed practices , change rooms were 6 to a room no showers, 15 mins before and after. Coaches wear a mask at all time except when on the ice. It was very strict but well organized and as safe as it can get. Then they go to school which is a free for all.Kid-Wicked wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 9:28 pmlower mainland leagues are back at it.kytepunches wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 10:14 amThey shut down ALL hockey here .
