I'm heading down to Indy Friday just for the party. If I get in the building it's gravy. If not I'll head to Broadripple and hold on for my life. Has a team ever played a final four game in their hometown before?LAglamrocker wrote:I hate Duke basketball, the most of any team in any sport..fuck the coach and the ACC..its Butler vs the world!

Bulldogs all the way. It's awesome that between the two teams left there are about thirteen kids from Indiana. Now if only the Hoosiers can start getting some local kids to stay in state they will return to their former glory. Butler going this far has Indiana all fired up and we should be in for a great game.

Butler got lucky...real lucky! Their defense can't handle duke's offense...hell they won't be able to crash the boards like duke does. Duke all the way!!

They are all tweeners that have to play real basketball to win. They are also better conditioned than the teams they play. That's where the turnovers come from in the second half, sloppy play from tired players. They don't have 6'10" kids coming off the bench so the coaching has been superb in every fucking game. They play great defense which has nothing to do with luck and they move the ball like an old Bobby Knight team. I respect Duke and their coach but they can be beaten.

Butler by 4. They remind me of the 2004 Pistons, minus the Human Technical Foul that is Sheed. Not much scoring but lockdown D that's second to none. Duke comes in thinking they've already won and gets caught with their pants down in the first half and struggles against the D.
Final score? 60-64.

As a life-long Blue Devils fan, this one may have been the sweetest (though the first will always have a huge place in my heart). I honestly did not think they'd get past the Sweet Sixteen this year. It couldn't have been any better, though: ACC title, National Title, and UNC didn't even make the tourney. Lovin' life right now!

Don't forget blowing out Carolina by 30. This one was pretty sweet because I don't think anyone expected it. All year long, the best teams were Kansas, Syracuse and Kentucky. Survive and advance.YYC wrote:As a life-long Blue Devils fan, this one may have been the sweetest (though the first will always have a huge place in my heart).
