It's a thing to shake up Durant and co. Also, it adds to the hype and the show of the NBA.Tymaster wrote:Phil will blame it on the refs!
Seriously, I love Phil. He's the zen master, but how in the hell does he have the temerity to be so critical of officials, when MJ and Kobe get (or got) every call.
He's been doing it for years. That's my only knock on Phil. Well, that and I'd like to see him take on a project like the Nets or Clippers and see how well he coaches w/out a Kobe, Shaq, Pippen, or Jordan.....Skate4RnR wrote:It's a thing to shake up Durant and co. I think that would be cool to see. Not that he cares, but he would silence all critics by taking a basement dweller and merely making them a playoff team. Phil doesn't seem to like that kind of challenge though.Skate4RnR wrote:I see what you mean but if he was coaching a crappy team he'd probably have a good idea of what kind of staff to have with him. Also, in a few seasons he could build the team up too. Who knows lol?
I see LeBron as a Laker before Durant. Kobe has two and a half seasons left before he morphs into Wizards MJ if the Lake Show keep on making the post-season. Granted Jordan played forever, but he "retired" twice and Kobe hasn't. In fact, barring injury, Mamba will surpass Jordan in minutes played next season throughout his career. Scoring a talented shmuck to take the place of another talented shmuck is totally Lakerball.LAglamrocker wrote:Kevin Durant will be a Laker, after he fullfills his sentecing in Oklahoma City
You wish that that Seattle management on the Thunder? That'd be about as effective as sending them to KC.Rainbow Bright wrote:I just hope to win the lottery by then so I can arrange for Clay to shoot pool with Jimmy Hoffa so I can get the Sonics back.

When Durant stops having Larry Hughes moments, (see tonight) him and Westbrook will be fucking LETHAL.Skate4RnR wrote:Lakers win by one.
Step it up motherfuckers if you wanna go all the way. Thunder will be back next year.
Agreed.Rainbow Bright wrote:

It's so true. I wish the East could somehow balance out a little bit.LAglamrocker wrote:
Oklahoma City could win 50 next year and not make the playoffs in the West, but would be a top team in the weakass East

Rorysfan wrote:It was ridiculous today against the Jazz. Lakers blew a big lead so refs had to make sure they won it. Kobe literally backs over a guy like a truck and nothing is called late in the game. Then he goes to the line on touch calls.
