"Iceman" Chuck Liddell and Rich "Ace" Franklin fight tomorrow night. Who's gonna win it, sludgers?

I'm gonna go with my heart and pick Chuck, but I won't be surprised if Rich finds a way to win. Hope it's a good fight.

However I cant remember the last card where i didnt give a fuck about the mainevent and have still been soo stoked for a card.

Rory Macdonald is going remind me how fucking stupid I was for skipping his fight in namamio BC. This kid is about to become as famous as any BC hockey player tomorrow night when he beats carlos condit.

Not to mention you have two counter-terrorist soilders fighting on the same card.


Pump for the fights

Rich is going to win a unanimous decision. Chuck looks like he's in better shape than he has been, but this is money in the bank. Hopefully he stays retired for good.

Crocop is going to get retired, and it really, really pains me to say that. I like Barry a lot though.

A lot of people are bitching about this card, but Thiago/Kampmann and Condit/Mcdonald both have potential to be awesome fights. Yvel/Rothwell should be a slugfest.

I don't think this card is so special that it deserves it's very own thread, but what the hell...Rich will definitely win, he's still in great shape, works hard...I'd like to see the Iceman show up drunk to the fight though, that would be cool...

And Mirko...I always have this hope, whenever he fights, that the old Pride Crocop is coming back, and I always get disappointed.

I think Val Kilmer would beat Frehley's ass.

Paul Stanley's Ibanez guitar would clock Ace in the skull.


I hope Chuck wins, but I too think he's done. Maybe the old Chuck has one more huge right hand in him, though.

It was my impression that Dana White was going to stop Chuck from embarrassing his dumb ass in the ring after the last few KO's. Guess not.

When Mirko Cro Cop landed an axe kick, I nearly came.

Good to see him get a win, by RNC no less, in a very strange fight. Hopefully he retires now to have a modicum of dignity, unlike another fighter who got KTFO tonight.

As usual, the cards that look the shittiest on paper end up being some of the best. Condit/McDonald was great, as was Kampmann/Thiago.

Chuck's lip got buuuusted up. He really should retire for good now, it can't be good for his health to keep getting blasted like that. Props to Rich for finishing with a broken arm, I don't see him making a run at the title, but he will be a really tough gatekeeper.

Damn, Chuck looked solid until he got cold-cocked with one punch again.

His chin is obviously gone.

He needs to retire before he gets seriously hurt.

I couldn't muster enough interest in this one to line Dana's pockets with some more of my cash. I'm totally in for Lesnar/Carwin, though!

that was a great night. wasn't such a bad card after all.

The cards that always get tagged as being shit on paper notoriously turn out to be the best cards of the year.

I don't know why that is, but I wasn't going to be fooled last night, and I wasn't disappointed.
