How does Mike Golic have a job?

Is this guy not the biggest talking head moron in the game these days? I listen to Mike and Mike here and there and he brings nothing to the table other than repeating or agreeing with what Greenberg says. He makes Marcellus Wiley look like fucking Brian Billick.

what gets me is why the hell does ESPN televise their show?????? fucking lame watching a talk show.

When they started in '99 or so, it was a nice refreshing change of pace from the negativity of my hometown Chicago sports talk, but you're right. Golic's shtick is becoming repetitive and tired.

i like watching it more than listening to it...in fact I've never listened to it on radio

I used to listen to ESPN Radio every day, back when the lineup was Mike & Mike, Tony Kornheiser, and Dan Patrick. M&M were by far my least favorite until the King of Douchebags, Colin Cowherd came in. There was only so many times I could hear them debate "Most Underrated Player", "Who Is the MVP So Far (3 games into the season)", or "Is (Insert loser of the first game of any best of seven series here) Done?"

2 days ago they were debating which modern day QB's (Moon, Kelly etc.) had a better career than Fran Tarkenton. This happened on a Monday. A FUCKING MONDAY! This is while the World Cup, NBA Finals, Wimbeldon are all happening, but for Golic's sake, we have to debate something that's been done a million times into the ground. Here was what I heard:
Greeny: Boy, Warren Moon sure lit it up in the CFL for 4 years before going to the Oilers and having a great career.
Golic: You're right, he was good.
Greeny: Boy, Jim Kelly was a great QB up in Buffalo, but he lost all those Super Bowls.
Golic: It wasn't his fault.
The guy is as dumb as a bag of fucking hammers. I'm sure the powers that be tell him just to nod his big head and agree.

No one with a national show knows more hockey and sports gambling than Scotty. And he plays heavy metal the entire time while talking live action. I can't see how anyone can have a problem with that.

Ferrall is hideous. That show is enough to make me want to stick a screwdriver in my ear.
Sports talk radio basically sucks. The only decent thing out there is Dan Patrick.

Ugh. Watching them the weeks before NFL Camp opened talk about Penn St. and Sandusky for WEEKS on end, just talking in circles and Mike Golic stating his usual, "You're right....but" schtick was atrocious.

He went to Columbia because he was a football player, not because he was a road scholar. He may not be a dummy, but if its not football, he adds absolutely nothing to a talk show & he should take a class on how to speak properly.

Nobody goes to the Ivy league to play football, LOL. As far as I know, when he played they didn't even give athletic scholarships. If they even do now.
