Not anchors, but I catered a "Sunday Night Baseball" for ESPN when they came to Syracuse to cover the International League Championship series in 1994 when MLB was on strike. Jon Miller was cool, Joe Morgan was a douche.

not anchors either, but I ran into Jon Miller and Joe Morgan at the airport on Monday morning the day after a Sunday night game

Jon Miller was very nice, Joe Morgan was rude

I met Tim Kurk-jian and he couldnt have been nicer. I said hello and he chatted me up for a couple minutes, introduced me to his son and was a just a regular guy. Talked about the Yankees for a few minutes and he came across a just a huge fan of the game.

Pedro Gomez contributes every now and then on ESPN and I've met him a couple times. He's a gigantic douche.

Ran into Kirk Hebstreit at a bar once a couple days before the FSU-Tennessse BCS Championship game. He was a real cool guy and said hello, but couldnt really be bothered as he was busy fighting off wave after wave of prime college pussy.

I've run into a few SC people and other ESPN workers at ESPNZone a few times when they shoot live Sports Centers and after some big games.
They all talk shit on ABC.

I'm glad I'm a soccer fan and don't regularly watch ESPN. They are to sports what Mtv is to music. A fucking embarrassment. All they do is overhype everything with meaningless bells and whistles. "It must be important because I can't shut up about it!!" You think they are overdoing it with the World Cup? LOL!!! Try tuning in during the two weeks leading up to the Super Bowl

With Fox Soccer Channel, Fox Soccer Plus, Goltv and the NFL Netw*rk . . . I haven't watched a complete Sports Center in almost 6 years and don't miss it one bit.

Holy crap, I agree with Heenan. Sportscenter used to be must see TV for me but now I only watch ESPN for live games and 30 for 30. If I want highlights I'll catch 30 minutes of ESPN news or watch NFL and NBA networks.

I met Chris Berman the last time the Super Bowl was played in the L.A. area (Rose Bowl 1993)... he was cool to me.

I still think his shtick is played out though
